Ok, here is my idea.
There is an island in the middle of no where known as the Isle of Perpetual Torment.
Simple, ordinary, everyday people find themselves shipwrecked there, or their planes go down there, and they find themselves lost on this island. It’s not an ordinary island though, it plays tricks on the mind and brings out the worst in everyone.
A group of people find themselves lost there and although they know they need each other to survive, they can’t seem to stand the sight of one another and are constantly fighting, bickering and throwing insults back and forth. Their dark sides immerge and they struggle to tolerate each other while they look for a way off the island. But wait, there’s more… they are not alone on the island. They find others, survivors from previous wrecks who present more questions then answers as sanity is in short supply, and non-survivors who create more fear and suspicions between the members of the group. Is it the Island that is the cause of the emotional unrest or is there someone pulling the strings?
It’s a thread that will allow players to come and go, to post as often or as seldom as they like, insult one another on any level that fit’s the story line, and lets the players insane sides take the keyboard.
Should be loads of fun, let your hair down and vent a little frustration on fellow players, all in the name of a good story of cause. Players don’t need special skills, they don’t need to be super models, or brain surgeons, just bring out your nasty, your logic and your talent, mix them all together and throw in a side order of intrigue and you got a recipe for a cool thread.
