Can someone explain to me, why the Islam issue is even relevant to furthering a conservative domestic agenda, whether that be economic conservative, social conservative, libertarian conservative or any permutation or combination of the above.
I don't see how the Islam question, or the Russia question, or any other foreign policy question is something that those fighting liberalism should waste their time or energy on. At best its a sideshow that distracts from real issues of concern to right leaning reformers. At worst, its part of a conspiracy to hijack conservatism or other rightwing ideologies for things which have nothing to do with issues affecting America here at home.
Not only that, if you want to lower the size of government, and reduce taxes, having an endless on-going no-win war against a fifth of the world's population, is not really good way to do that.
