"Zee! Give me- NO!!! What are you DOING?! Get your hands off that, you don't know what it does!"
"Yes I do! Watch!"
No sooner than the words were exchanged than the small house's door buckled slightly, followed by a trail of smoke and a squeel of laughter from Zee's tinkling voice.
"GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!," Lexx'a bellowed, shoving the confused Zee out onto the front porch. This wasn't working right at all! She had been on this planet for no more than three days, and already that stupid andriod had caused 3 of her experiments to gain information to explode! She had half a mind to take half Zee's memory chips out and-
Hmm... Maybe that wasn't a bad idea after all...
Ahh, but right now, she had bigger issues to worry about. "Computer! Show me resources to study this planet!" Settling down at her desk, Lexx'a frowned and watched the screen, smirking slightly as it brought up information on a nearby college. "Ahh, of course! Its own intellegence habitat can give me the information I need..."
Outside, Zee had decided to not waste any time waiting for Lexx'a to let her back inside. She knew just how long she could stay angry- or at least, how long it would be until she remembered she had kicked Zee out to begin with. Hey, it wasn't ZEE's fault that vial had blown up. She had only been trying to keep Lexx'a from harm- the chemicals in there were not meant to be combined. Still, better to seem the fool than tell her master that she had done something wrong. At least out here she couldn't upset Lexx'a anymore. Maybe she could even find something useful!
Looking around, she saw a big white vehicle coming to a stop across the road. Curious, she went over to see what it was. "Headed downtown?," Grunted the large man in the driver's seat. "It'll be two fitty. Hurry up now, I got other st-" He cut short, looking at Zee with a slightly impressed smirk. "Tell ya what, darlin'. This one's a freebie. Get on."
Free? Well, that was helpful! Zee grinned, scampering up the steps and taking a seat. It didn't smell that wonderful on this vehicle, but with this many humans on it, it had to be going somewhere important. She'd just follow the guy sitting near her for awhile... He had to be important. After all, he was in a suit. Tv had shown her that guys in suits were always important.
