The internet is increasingly populated by young people. Your age and sex please?

Here's why I think this is a continuing trend.

I believe that - nearly everybody over, let's say 30 - who was/is interested - are there already - they have a computer and are on the net. If you're over 30, and you’ve got the money, and you have not gotten interested in computer's yet - you most likely won't.

So I think the over 30 crowd has be tapped - plateaued - flat lined. Unless…..

They buy additional computers for their kids. (Read on please.)

Costs of faster, Internet capable computers keep getting lower and lower.

What was once a single, shared, household utensil (by those who could afford even one) - is now affordable enough to outfit those same buyers’ children's bedrooms with a computer. But what kind of family can afford two or three computers?

That same affordability means that parents supply college age kids easier. Any college kid needs/wants a computer. But who are these college kids?

The same affordability - means that Public Libraries, and Cyber Cafe's can outfit themselves easier. So, who uses the Library?

All this affordability - means more computers. But who is using them? Who is using all these new computers?

Just who is it that has the money for an extra, in home computer?

White folk do.

And who uses the extra one or two computer's in the White Folks home?

Young white kids do.

And of this blossoming buying and using computer market is most likely to find their way to Literotica?

Young horny white boys - age 18/19/20 and up.

And I see it happening right in front of my eyes.

Hence this new poll.

Hmm where are you going at with this? Since you seem to define that 'white' people make up most of the net population.
Just curious?

BTW Age: 22
Sex: Female

Hell...

Single (as in not married, but happily dating someone) White (as in "mostly" Caucasian, I do not know my genetic heritage, though) Female (as in the fairer sex ;) ), age 24, born in 1977. And, I'll assure you, I sure as hell was not and am not "a lil' white rich girl". I worked for my car and computer in HS. I paid my parents for net access and rent until I moved out into my own place. And I still have student loan payments for my attempt at college.

Useless FYI here. lol :)

I thought we did not respond to trolls.

It is the only sane thing to do if you want to keep the board free of crap.

I'm no Troll knucklehead......

If you put two and two together you'd see.....

I'm frustrated by my eroneous posting as unregistered. I posted and asked you all about this on another thread.

And....

This was to be a Poll and now is on another thread.

But - the unregistered thing - fucked it up somehow - I still don't know how.

And yes - what I'm getting at and my suspicion is - that the preponderence of us on the General Board are.....

Younger white males.

Those of us who can afford computers and are horny.

yeah just caught up on some of the threads. Carefull, you're starting to sound like me!

Also...

Not every guest here is a troll. ~sigh~ Some members who have been TOO chicken shit to say how they feel under their "known" name have give ALL guests here a bad name, sadly. Read back to the beginning of Lit. Damn near EVERYONE but Laurel was a guest at some time. Including people you'd recognize now as members.

There is a BIG difference between troll postings and a "true" guest to the board.

As far as I am concerned gutless is a symptom of being a troll!
It's TIC, but I don't waste time with smileys because even with them, many don't get it! You know, every thinks they have a sense of humor. I have a sense humor. Okay, what's the difference between a pregnant lady and a lightbulb...

hummm

30 - often ( not quite as often as I would like but heh - beggars and those who pay for it can't be too choosey!!)
and my gender is male

If that population trend is true

then does the Internet really look like TRON on the inside?

This thread has nothing to do with......

Trolls.

It was a mystery mistake - posted ignorantly by me. I still don't know what happened.

Yes of course there can be sincere Guest postings. Just as there can be eronious, mysterious, mistake posts - like this one.

hey Sparkster

I did a poll abt the age range of lit members and lurkers... one option was "under 18". a few people flipped at the idea i would even give that option.. but when someone actually chose that option.. i wasn't suprised. the option that got the most votes was 26yr to 35yr. (14 of the 37 votes)

here's the link if u r interested

Is this your new trend, Sparky? To "forget" to log in so you can continue your accusations at some point? Too bad you have to log in to PM people. Maybe I should take you off ignore for a minute just to see what jewels from you are lurking in my inbox this morning, shall we?
