I'm not sure if anyone has noticed this: But if you take any US cent, preferably one that is still in decent shape, and look closely at it with a magnifying glass, you will see the tiny letters "VDB" located under Lincoln's left shoulder. The meaning of these strange initials has never been known, it is, rather, a secret of the Deep State that has never been revealed.

Meanwhile, since the cent was redesigned in 2009, a new set of even more sinister letters has appeard on the shield reverse: "LB JFM" The meaning of this inscription, based on an old Latin occult incantation, is supposed to be even darker and more malevolent than "Vengeance Destroy Bloodbath."

I had a vending machine reject a dime I stuck in the slot one time and I looked at the "dime" and realized I'd picked up a 1943 steel cent (odd) but it was in NM uncirculated condition! (really odd!) This was around 2010.

VDB=with the designer's initials, “VDB” for Victor D. Brenner. War pennies were made of steel because copper was too valuable to the war effort.

Our British coins have a long-standing dig at the Roman Catholic Church.

They read D.G. Fid Def.

D.G.= Deo Gratia (By the Grace of God)

Fid Def = Fidei Defensor (Defender of the Faith) a title awarded to Henry VIII by the then Pope for writing in defence of the Catholic Church, ironic because Henry VIII was the monarch to break from the Catholic Church over divorce.

Hundreds of years later we still have that title on our coins - Up yours, Pope!

Apparently, the "LB JFM" on pennies is supposed to stand for "Lux Banis Justis Fides Malorum" or (rough translation) "Let the Light be banished by we who are sworn to darkness." That's downright fucking creepy, that they would put this on our coins.

Both sets of inscriptions are visible on a standard U.S. cent, though the "VDB" under the left shoulder is very difficult to see without a magnifying glass- the letters are only about 0.3 Milimeters high- and the "LB JFM" only appears on pennies made after 2009.
