Andrew King sighed as he looked through his mail one late afternoon,he had been trying to find a new job since his last one ended when the company was brought out resulting in he and a few 100 others now having to find other jobs."Lets see bills more bills a dear Mr King bills bil" he stoped going back to the letter that was adressed to him.It had the adress of a law firm and Andrew wondered what kind of trouble had gotten into,opening the letter Andrew read it and was stunned by its contents.

Dear Mr King.It is with great sadness I inform you that your adopated Uncle Richard King has passed on.However as he had no children of his own Mr King has decreed that you are to inherit his fortune and estate.Please come to the King Estate tomorrow ar 12 mid day Yours Sincerly... .Andrew dropped the letter and sat down,his adopated Uncle Richard had been a life saver and he felt personally obligated to look after his esate.

Hey all.Well here's another Thread I've decided to start up.Idea is pretty simple my charcter has inherited a vast fortune and mansion.However being rich and single he has to contend with various female parties intrested in getting with him.

I'm looking for any ladies at this stage intrested and perhaps another guy to play the role of the uncles lawyer.Any questions PM otherwise just post a bio and we'll get started.

The next day Andrew arrived at his Uncle's estate,he was the last to arrive and was ushered into a private room to meet with his Uncles lawyer and some other of his Uncles associates.He took a seat and smiled,"sorry I'm a bit late I had rough time trying to orginse transport" he said excusing himself as he waited for the procedings to begin.

Vanessa stood there looking at him as he walked into the room.

"Mr. King I'm Vanessa Luker I am one of the lawyers from the firm, we well begin procedings shortly in the mean time would you like a drink?"

I point to the bar, having had it stocked for this meeting I was sure he would find something he liked in the little fridge below the counter.

Trisha Stanovic walked into the room, pushing her rectangular glasses up her nose. She looked around, holding a book to her side. "Hello, everyone." She whispered, nodding her head, and making her way to a chair, pushing her skirt down before sitting.

Andrew smiled as the young laywer offered him a drink,"that would be fine Ms Luker some brandy thank you" he said as another women saunterd into the room.
Andrew watched her as she made her way to a seat and sat down"hello Ms I'm Andrew King Richard Kings Nephew and you are?" he asked as Ms Luker returned with his drink.

I step over to the bar to get Mr. Kings drink, um brandy he already had the taste that went with the money.

Puring his drink I turn around and notice the new addition not remembering anyone else being invited to reading of the will I was interested to find out how exactly this young lady was.

I walk over "Your Brandy Mr. King" and place the drink in his hand.

She blinked, then looked up at Andrew, smiling at him. "I'm Trisha. It's nice to meet you, Mr. King," she said, nodding her head. "I'm not really related to him, but I live a few houses down, and he and my family were very close." She lowered her head a bit.

Andrew nodded and noticed Trisha lower her head,"well any neighbours of my uncle are welcome Trisha" he spoke reassuringly to the young lady.

Sipping his brandy Andrew turned his attention to Ms Luker,"was there anything in my uncles will that I need to make arangements for" he asked her wanting to know if uncle had any duties that Andrew needed to take care off.

"No not really, most of his investments are taken care of by the firm as are his donations, really all you have to do is sign the papers my employer has, and then let us take care of everything else."

I smile at him wondering if I should tell him the stipulation to him keeping all of the money and power, but decide it is my employers place to do so. After all he probably would not believe me.

Peter pulled up in front of the estate, and hurried into the house. Crap, he was running late. Not a good thing, especially with today's big announcement. Things were definetley going to be interesting.

As he entered the house, he saw that his junior partner had already gotten things started. "Sorry i'm late," he quickly said. "how have things been going?"

She looked around, feeling quiet comfortable in the room. She smoothed out her dress, then bit the inside of her cheek. She ran a hand through her hair, then looked at the floor, not knowing what to say.

Andrew nodded as Ms Luker explained that all of his Uncle's things had been taken care off.He noticed the arri al of a man whom he gathered was Ms Luker's boss and as a result his uncles lawyer.

"No evethings fine Ms Luker has been looking after us that are here I'm Andrew King" he said standing up and offering his hand out to recent arrival.

Peter shook the man's hand. "ah...so you're the man we've come to see today. Well, why don't we all sit down, we've got some very big news to discuss."

He montioned towards a grouping of chairs, before calling to his partner.

"Vanessa, why don't you go ahead and explain to them. You've done a great job with this case so far."

"yes Mr. Goldberg I was just telling Mr. King that we take care of everything in his Uncles portfolio all he has to do is sign the dotted line."

As I walked over to take a seat I gave my employer a look letting him know I had not mentioned the stipulations attached to Mr. King keeping his new fortune though.

"I don't think I forgot to cover anything, is there something you would like to add Mr. Goldberg."

Peter smiled back at his partner as she walked by him, making a mental note of how good she looked in a her professional clothes.

"Nope, I cannot think of anything else...." he reponded, as he watched the his client lay down the signature. he waited until he just finished, before adding with a tone of mock surprise.

"oh! oh my goodness..goodness me. I've completely forgotten one thing. This morning traffic and my being late must have gotten to me." he paused for effect, taking delight in the surprise that came on his clients face.

"your uncle added a stipulation. Before you can completley inherit the fortune, you must...Marry within on year, and produce an heir within three."

Trisha blinked, feeling sorry for Andrew. She shook her head quietly, getting up and going to the bar, pouring herself a glass of scotch.

I was about to take my seat, my hands just straightening out my pinstripe knee length skirt when Peter told Mr. King the stipulations, the look on Mr. Kings face was almost more then I could bare, there and then I almost, just almost laughed.

However being comletely business like I put my hand up an coughed. Trying not to smile.

"Oh sorry I totally forgot to mention that as well."

Andrew had just finshed singing the paper when out of the blue this oh so subtle revelation of a stipulation was mentiomed."What your joking right" he said looking at the lawyer then Ms Lukar but by their looks this was no joke.

"Oh boy just great and I suppose your to help make sure I do this little stipulation" he sighed cumbling back in his seat,he looked up at Trisha and half smiled having been caught totally unprepared for what had just transpired.

 

[Makisan]

She blinked, then scowled at the lawyers. "How can you two forget something like that?! The poor man nearly had a heart attack!" She said, pointing to Andrew.

Not sure how to respond I simply look at the young lady.

"Well um really I am sure it is in the fine print on the paper Mr. King just signed, one would hope he had read it before signing."

I smile serenely look innocent, knowinf full well that he had not bothered to read the paper but just put his signature on it as so many did.

Looking at my employer "well um i guess yes me and Peter are here to make sure you fulfill the stipulations, aren't we Peter?"

"yes, we are. " Peter said, with a smile., devious from end to end.

"we're gonna ensure you fufill your end of the deal, otherwise, we can seize your assets at any given time."

Andrew frowned clearly he was in a no win situation but if his uncle wantewd him to get married as one of his final wishes so be it he would get married and produce a kid.

"So how do you intend to help me with fufilling this obligation" he asked putting the ball back in his lawyers court showing that he wasn't as nieve as they thought he may be.
