Blue Diamond
Riding
wave on wave
she's turning
heads
and toes
drowning in passion
stormy like the sea
crashing me
"In my bluest state,
I feel so elate."
Dancing
hand in hand
we’re turning
tail and run
out of the blue
moon fever
into some darker shades
where she states
“I have to confess
I really only wear this dress”
*
Standing
face to face
it’s turning
in the thick of it
doesn’t take her long
nails pressing in
my sides vellicating
words advocating
“What a complementary contrast
if, today, you could last.”
Sitting
hips on hips
I’m turning
into a mess
of rigid joy
expected to spill it
not at all now
raising an eyebrow
“Hope you’ve got staying power
till the daying hour.”
Edging
hour by hour
not turning
away her eyes
focused gyrations
slow like the minute hand
meets the hour right before
half past five for sure
“You did well tonight, a true Alcides,
overwhelm my insides.”
