The Illusive Mansion [Closed)
THE CAST
She: Ramona, brunette with blue eyes, twenty nine year old and married for almost four years to Jeff who was almost thirty six. Tall and curvy, she was undeniably attractive. She was well read and had a flair for writing but was a reticent and an introvert, prone to many fantasies that usually centred on love and sex. Besides, without a shadow of a doubt, she was extremely passionate – something that waited for the spark to ignite into a raging fire. This hidden character had not been fully exposed nor expressed to her husband.
Jeff: Ramona’s husband, thirty eight, slightly over weight, thinning hair but with thick side burns. Through sheer effort and hard work, he had been able to build a financial empire. This meant more tours and travels, more absence from his family, more forced abstinence from his sexual needs. But, he went out of his way to please his ravishing and luscious wife, who drew more than normal attention from other men. He didn’t mind the attention that she received, rather, felt inwardly content. Reasons not known!
Broker: Appearing only in Ramona’s dreams, Mr. Finch was past fifty but continued to maintain a muscular frame, topped with slightly greying hair, dark eyes and carried a rich resonant voice which could be mistaken as very commanding and expecting obedience. He wore a thick moustache that made him look more domineering. He kept his eyes on Ramona, not necessarily to ascertain if the mansion was creating an interest in her. To any other eyes, it would be obvious that his interests were elsewhere just as much. What Ramona didn’t know was that Mr. Finch was not just a broker of properties alone.
Others: (1) Psychotherapist whom Ramona visits. May be he would help her to come out from or fulfil the dream.
(2) Intending buyers, male or female, who visit the mansion. It is yet unknown if Ramona would be able to purchase and, therefore, possess the mansion or, if events lead to someone else who would. What the final purchaser and owner would do with the mansion is what we wait to unfold before us.
[For those who wish to join, wouldn’t it be nice to have Jeff and the Broker? For the role of intending buyers, there’s place for a few and anyone can join, if he or she wants to. And of course, we have a psychoanalyst – could be anyone, even a spinster!]

THE PLOT AS IT BEGINS
Ramona always had this dream, recurring so frequently that sometimes she wondered if it hadn’t really occurred in the past. It was true that she and her husband Jeff were only too eager to move into a more spacious mansion and had been searching for one for the last couple of months. Weren’t her dreams an outcome of what her subconscious mind wanted so very eagerly? The sequence of the dream now etched very vividly in her mind, as she saw herself with this stranger, possibly a broker, driving into a sprawling compound secured by high walls and an over sized ornamental iron gate. It seemed that the broker had the entrance keys to the mansion, for he unlocked the main door for him and Ramona to walk in. Up the stairs and along the long corridor, with rooms on adjacent sides, each locked and with entry forbidden. As the broker had said in her dreams, locked till owned and possessed.
Ramona was truly fascinated, not simply for the appealing old fashioned beauty that was being unfolded to her, but more because of the paintings on each locked door, each painting depicting a different sexual behaviour. If it was a normal copulation between a man and woman on one painting, there was one where the painting showed a threesome. On another door, there hung a painting of a nude woman encircled by a few men, fully attired, groping and fondling her. Her dreams took her to a room where the painting showed two women, avidly enjoying their sexuality between themselves. One painting that stood out in her mind, was a kneeling woman indulging in fellatio on a man standing in front, who was fully naked underneath a semi-parted cloak. These were just a few but one would realize that there were many rooms in that mansion and each door was similarly adorned.
The frequency of this dream perturbed her and she was uncertain if it came about because of her craving for a larger mansion or actually revealed the suppressed desires and urges that lurked in the inner recesses of her mind. She thought of seeking professional help, for it was far too disturbing for her to not only hide this within her but, as a dignified married woman, to even foster in her wayward mind.
