The hey-how-about-we-talk-about-anything-but -tomorrow-or-politics thread

For real. Not that I don't care about either - in fact just the opposite. But I am getting emotionally worn out and want to start the day at least on a more "up" note.

So let's have a little fun, eh?

Any ideas for a topic of discussion that is thought provoking but not too heavy?

I agree with you on that Peachy. Good idea for at least the next couple of days.

Now, a thought provoking, upbeat, inspiring topic...hmmmmm....

**thinking**

The greatness that is the Dave Matthews Band.

How good sugar wafers are.

How catchy the new Goo Goo Dolls CD is.

How I'm having one of those days where I feel like, with what I'm wearing, I look rather good.

Just a few topics. ;)

well am not a huge fan of either dave matthews or goo goo dolls. But that 'Where are you going' song has me in tears everytime I hear it, because I miss my husband so badly. But, it's less than a week til I see him now (THANK FUCKING CHRIST) so it's OK.

Sorry you miss your guitar. I miss coming home and finding my man in his underpants on the couch strumming away. why can't you get another one?

There's another song that gets me like that these days..I can't remember the name, but it's by Coldplay.

Hope your week passes quickly, Peachy.

That is a good song. :)

Actually, not even one of his better songs, too. But if you like songs like that, check out I'll Back You Up. What a great love song.

My guitar isn't gone, I'm just not in the same place it is. Seems like everytime I'm in a different place than it is, I get the urge to play it, like now. :(

Although, not often in my boxers. The wood is far too cold against my chest.

I'm also digging this new Springsteen album.

Yeah the Springsteen hasn't left my CD player in days. As a Jersey girl though I am genetically preprogrammed...

Thanks LG, it has been a long, long, long, long, summer.

Coldplay is actually better than I originally gave them credit for.. I'd like to get both of their albums.

Heh.. that's true. I'm a born Cali kid, transplanted to IL, so.. nothing genetic there. But it is good.. I've been addicted to it since I decided to take a chance yetserday.

I am feeling bad as I have yet to purchase said CD, I still have a few months. People are always suprised that there is a springsteen check box on our state tax returns...

hmmm.. a whole slew of new siglines are forming in my head

I got a hundred on my case study last night.

Being that I have a bladder infection and was going to the bathroom every 5 mins during class,I thought it was a great score.

I just thought that I'd share.

Glad to see Coldplay spreading their word.....Quality band, quality music:D

Funny, even though the lyrical content of "Yellow" wasn't all that great, it was catchy and stuck in my head.

I'm a fan now...:)

If you like Colday, theres another quality British band you should hear. They're called Starsailor and their music is also quality. (Their lyrics are quiet good too ;) )

well you may both hate me for saying this, but I can't find a single appealing thing about either of those bands. They both just make me think, "Meet the new Travis, same as the old Travis..." And frankly, I always thought Travis were really overhyped schlock rock.

Just my opinion, feel free to continue enjoying them in the privacy of your home.

Just got over one of those. I feel your pain. Felt it for about a week, actually.

I will have to check that band out too :)

Nope, don't hate you for it! I am all over the place when it comes to music. From Country to Opera to 50's to Rap to Metal.

AH...Cranberry Juice by the GALLON. But it only helps if you start it immediately on that first twinge. I drink it daily now, it really does help offset BI's, for me anyway. The worst one ever they actually gave me horse size pills for! YUCK

Congrats LTR. Great effort, you got good grades AND lots of exercise running back and forth to the loo.

I'd say that's kinky, but I'm not even really sure it is.... *L*

yep Deity that sig line is a bit much to scroll through seven times in one thread. Not that it's not a lovely sentiment, but do consider abbreviating it. (no I wasn't the unregistered person, if I got something to say, I'll tell it to you flat out.)
