"The Heavenly Hitchhiker"

(Closed)

Robert Toberman:

I had barely left the City on my way to a conference a thousand miles away when I saw the most incredible sight ahead on the side of the road ... with her thumb out. Before I realized what I was doing, I was hitting the brakes and slipping over to the shoulder. A moment later, the passenger side door opened to reveal a goddess...

"Need a ride?" I ask, instantly feeling stupid for asking a hitchhiker such a question. I point forward through the windshield, asking, "How far are you going?"

In my mind -- my dirty, filthy Old Man mind -- I'm thinking Oh, please God, let her answer 'All the way'.

(OOC: My character is a 45-60 year old married guy who has given up on the possibility of getting anything from life more excited than finding a fresh blueberry muffin left over at the Continental Breakfast in what ever freeway motel he is currently staying. Your character is out and about for what ever reason you wish, but she will want to give him a thrill he thought himself too old and dead to ever enjoy again. This can be a one time sex event or can go on for several days or weeks.)

There was nothing quite as frustrating as the complete and utter silence that surrounded me. I had been making my way down the road for the past hour and a half now, baking in the desert heat.

There was really nothing I could have done to change the situation, and that thought comforted me. But still, here I was, alone and lost. I had done my fair share of hitching, getting into and out of all kinds of messes in my 22 years on this Earth. But today was different.

For one, it was 100 degrees out.

But also, the roads were empty. Not a single car, save for a truck carting horses, had passed me. I was beginning to lose hope, really. I had shed my sweatshirt long ago and was left in just a loose, white tank top and light jeans. My chest glistened with my sweat. My hair was pulled up into a ponytail to keep it out of my face and to help me cool down, but I needed water soon.

From behind me, I heard the familiar rumble of an engine. I had begun to think that maybe the whole world had vanished in some sort of apocalypse and I was the only one left alive. But could there possibly be someone coming?

I stuck my thumb out quickly, pleading silently for whoever it was to stop. At this point, I would have gotten in the car with anyone.

"Hallelujah..." I muttered under my breath as I watched the sleek car slow and veer over to the side of the road. Kind souls do exist after all....

"Need a ride?"

What did he think I needed? Directions?

"How far are you going?"

"Uh... well... to be honest, I don't know." I knew that sounded stupid and possibly a bit sketchy, but it was the honest truth. I just needed to be away from where I had been. "I'll go as far as you'll take me, I guess..."

I tilted my head to get a better look at the man driving, scanning his form for anything mildly threatening. He was good looking, probably in his mid 40s, and dressed well. Didn't seem like the type to chop me up in a motel room and throw me in a dumpster.

In answer to my question about how far she was going, the beauty said, "I'll go as far as you'll take me, I guess..."

I couldn't contain my smile, recalling the prayer I'd made to God. I gestured her into the car, and once she was seated, headed back out onto the road. "I'm heading to Dallas."

From behind my dark sunglasses, I peeked over at her body. Her ample, exposed flesh was glistening with sun catching the rays of the hot sun. I reached to the AC and turned it to high. "If it gets to cold, just turn it down here ... this one's your side ... this one's the fan."

I knew I didn't have to explain it all to her, but leaning and turning the way I was allowed me to look almost right down her blouse. She wasn't wearing a bra, and no sooner had the cold air begun to blow upon her breasts then her nipples hardened, pressing conspicuously against the light fabric of her top.

I stared for a moment, then felt the tires hit the little bumps indicating that I was straying from my lane. I very quickly corrected and put us back in the lane, saying with a guilty tone only , "Sorry."

I went quiet, unsure of what to say to her. Instead, I just snuck quick looks at her delicious breasts, yerning...

"Dallas... Dallas sounds good..."

I settled into the passenger seat and buckled up while my knight in shining business clothes fiddled with the air conditioner. I was grateful for the sudden blast of cool air and closed my eyes to let it pass over my burning flesh.

When I opened them again, the man was staring, eyes fixated on my breasts. I knew that not wearing a bra with a shirt like this made them hard to miss, but really now...

"Ahem... maybe you could tell me your name..."

I turned a bit in my seat and eyed my companion, picking up on a few small visual clues. He was wearing a thick gold wedding band, which meant that he was likely traveling for business, not pleasure. The nice clothing he wore suggested that whatever business he was in, it was sophisticated. The dark sunglasses he wore were practical, but also expensive.

"Ahem..."

I looked up from her amazing tits to her face to realize that -- despite the glasses -- it was pretty obvious where my eyes had been aimed. I sat back and looked directly forward, aware that my face was exploding in a blush.

"...maybe you could tell me your name..."

"Robert!" I said quickly, offering out my right hand to her. "Robert Toberman. Like the dog, but ... with a "T", not a "D".

I used to make one joke or another about how we was as mean as the black and brown dogs, in business and in life. But there days, I was more like a Labrador puppy than a fierce watch dog.

After she introduce herself, I asked, "So ... hitch hiking, huh. Can I ask ... you know ... what the hell are you doing out here in this heat!"
