She said teasingly before picking up one of the dozen sushi and eatting it. "Perhaps when you return to the outside you will wear it and think of me when you do..." Michiko said, although more softly and shyly as she perked at him through her long lashes.

"Why would I do that?" Gabriel asked pausing of a little bit before finishing saying "You will be with me when I leave. I still think the same thing now as I did when I was fevered. If anything I hope this mask will be a reminder of the village to you and our first full day together for the both of us." He gave her a smile before eating a roll of sushi

Michiko paused and looked at him stunned. Surprised to hear that he truly meant what he had told her while delirious with fever. Michiko smiled and nodded her head as her eyes watered a little. Happy. "I'd like that. Thank you, Gabriel." She said, her ears happily twitching.

Gabriel reached over and wiped the tears away before saying "no need to do that now." He smiled at her before he stared to lightly run his hand over her tail again. He didn't know that this was to be done between mates but he knew that it made her happy so he did it.
