"So you got rejected, huh?", one guy with a letterman's jacket said to another.

The guy replied, "She's into that romance and shit. She's not exactly loose."

The first guy laughed and said, "You should know, no one can nail the headmaster's daughter. She's like a virgin goddess. No one can even get into her dorm room, let alone her pants."

The group of guys were gathered around each other in the cafeteria, talking about "The Goddess's" latest rejection. "The Goddess" was the Headmaster of St. Bart's Prep School's eighteen year-old daughter. Her real name is Katalina "Kat" Gordon. She was beautiful, classy, smart, and like the other students at the school, she was filthy rich. She had dark brown hair that flowed midway down her back. She had baby blue eyes and beautifully tanned skin. She was in perfect shape because she was captain of the women's soccer team, but she had curves in all the right places. Her body was usually clad in the school's traditional uniform, a burgundy and gold plaid skirt with a crisp white dress shirt and a burgundy sweater vest. Her feet were clad in black dress shoes and white knee socks.

She sat with her group of friends at the best table in the cafeteria, laughing and talking.

The group of boys continued to watch her from across the room. A cheerleader overheard their conversation and walked over to them. She laughed and said, "Well, you guys obviously haven't met the new guy. He's gorgeous and she'd be stupid not to want some of that."

The rejected boy said, "He could be an Abercrombie model, but her legs are shut."

((I need the new guy that is going to bet with the jocks that he can get into her pants, but he might fall for her instead. We'll see. PM me your character description.))

It was his first day of classes and everything was going relatively well. Although he didn't enjoy this dress code too well as it was quite the opposite of what he was use to, he knew he could get over it soon enough. At least he wouldn't have to pick out something to wear in the morning as he had to wear the same thing daily. Entering the cafeteria Jonathan walked to the food line and chose what he felt like eating that day. Soccer practice started in a few days so he decided that it was back to eating well.

Getting a high protein, high carb meal he walked over to the table full of other soccer players he had met and began chatting with them. He noticed more than a few looks his way, surely just because he was the new guy. Digging into his meal the guys talked about the seemingly usual thing, soccer and girls. This girl named Kat seemed to be quite popular as the guys wouldn't shut up about her, she must have been all that and more, but Jonathan had known and dated some pretty beautiful women before.

It wasn't long before he finished his meal as he was a quick eater and he took his tray up and threw away the trash. As he unloaded the trash he looked over to see a cute brunette smiling at him and then walk off giggling as others at her table did the same.

A soccer player named Tim walked up to Jonathan and patted him on the back. He laughed and said, "I see you've spotted the 'goddess'. It was only a matter of time. Beautiful, isn't she?"

Her friends had pointed out Jonathan to Kat right away and they all gushed, "He's so gorgeous. He's perfect for you, right down to soccer skills." She glanced at him long enough to look him over and said, "I can already tell his type. I can spot his arrogance from a mile away. Just like the other guys at this god-foresaken place." She noticed him look at her and smiled to be friendly.

Tim was soon joined by the rest of the soccer team and they were all watching Kat walk away. Tim licked his lips and said, "She's like forbidden fruit. Everybody wants a piece, but everyone seems to think that you have a shot at her. So I bet you 200 dollars, that you can't get a piece of that."

As he got a pat on his back Jonathan turned to see Tim who obviously was up to something devious, you could just tell by the smile. "Huh? Oh, yeah," he said looking over to a table where a group of girls sat, the group who had giggled just a few moments ago. Seeing them gossip Jonathan looked at the beautiful woman that was obviously "the leader" and smiled in politeness as she smiled back. There was something about his smile that made him seem very sincere.

Seeing the rest of the soccer team approached he wondered just what was up. It surely seemed odd, but he just remained standing and waited. As Tim talked about the girl he had pointed out Jonathan smiled, all the guys were head over heels, it was way too obvious. As she walked away he looked at Tim who made a very pricey proposition.

"200 dollars? Hmm," he said and looked at her swaying skirt as she walked away and her pretty legs. "It's a bet then," he said and shook Tim's hand. The money didn't matter all that much to him as he had that and way much more. "Well, you must excuse me gentlemen." Making his way through them as they parted their way for him he walked after Kat.

"Hey, excuse me," he said as he caught up to her outside the lunchroom in a fairly empty hallway. Stepping up aside of her he looked at her and smiled, "Name's Jonathan, you're a soccer player aren't you? I can tell by your legs," he said and smiled knowing that bringing up soccer was a good move although he wasn't sure that she was actually a soccer player, but it was his specialty.

Kat walked down the hallway with her friends, but soon departed from them because she needed to go to her father's office.

She was a little startled by Jonathan when she heard him say, "Hey, excuse me." She glanced to find the source of the voice then continued her walk down the hall.

"Name's Jonathan, you're a soccer player aren't you? I can tell by your legs," she heard him say. She rolled her eyes and said, "I'm Kat and that was a good guess. Can I help you with something, Jonathan?"

She loosened up a bit, but she still had a defensive tone in her voice. She knew that the guys at this school always had a hidden agenda.

Jonathan saw her roll her eyes and laughed alittle and quickly chimed in after her question. "Hey, I saw you roll your eyes," he said and smiled, "Come on, it wasn't that bad of a line." Laughing he continued finally answering her question. "Well, it seems that every guy is talking about you so I actually thought I wouldn't be one of those creepy guys talking about you in packs and say hi," he said with a smile. "There has to be something about you that draws so much attention, it may be your beautiful eyes, your body, your hair, or maybe your beautiful face, but I think it is your smile. I saw you give me a smile and I knew I had to come and say hi and introduce myself."

Jonathan took a totally straight forward approach, being as open but as nice, gentle and sweet with his voice and manner of speaking. He wanted to show her that he wasn't afraid of her and that he wasn't some simplistic moron. "I'm actually on the guys soccer team, I do hope you come out and see me play sometime." As they continued to walk together he noticed a few stares, but he tried to give her his full attention.

"Hey, I saw you roll your eyes. Come on, it wasn't that bad of a line. She smiled a little, but tried to keep a straight face.

He continued, "Well, it seems that every guy is talking about you so I actually thought I wouldn't be one of those creepy guys talking about you in packs and say hi." He smiled and for a moment, she gushed. He had a great smile and it wasn't at all sleezy like the others.

"There has to be something about you that draws so much attention, it may be your beautiful eyes, your body, your hair, or maybe your beautiful face, but I think it is your smile. I saw you give me a smile and I knew I had to come and say hi and introduce myself." She couldn't help but smile at this comment. She even blushed a little.

"I'm actually on the guys soccer team, I do hope you come out and see me play sometime." He was a little forward, but if he kept smiling, she was going to melt.

She decided it was her turn to talk so she said, "You're smooth, I'll give you that much. And to be honest, the only reason I'm still talking to you is your smile." She grinned and jokingly fluttered her eyelashes. "See, I can throw out lines too.", she laughed before disappearing into her father's office.

She leaned up against the door and shook her head. "Too good to be true. Another guy, another sleeze."

OOC: Sorry, computer guy was here fixing my computer.

IC: His words had definately had some effect on the beautiful young woman as she smiled and even blushed at some of the things he said. Time after time again she smiled, laughed, and blushed. Were these guys just that pathetic or did he have something over her that she liked so much. Finally, as she spoke his suspicions were confirmed. She was won over by his smile. Smiling more as she commented about it he was about to follow her when suddenly she ducked into a door and closed it.

Looking at the nametag on the door it was the Headmaster's office. It then came to him, he knew her last name, and the Headmaster had the same name, she was his daughter! Oh, what had he gotten himself into? But, there was something there, something about her that he liked. Although he had made a bet he liked her much more than to get in her pants to win the bet. Granted he did want to get in her pants, he was a guy of course, but it had nothing to do with money or his ego.

Walking off finally he went about his day, seemed like what a normal day would be, but he couldn't help getting Kat out of his mind. The soccer guys wouldn't let him get her out of his mind either as they kept talking to him about her. Finally, as the day came to a close Jonathan walked to his car, opened the door to his camaro, and got in slowly, sitting there with the door open as he waited until other cars had left the parking lot.

For some reason, Kat couldn't think of anything but Jonathan all day. Her friends talked about him too which made it very hard for her to concentrate on anything else.

She didn't like the fact that she might possibly like him. Many guys tried to date her, but she wasn't interested in any of them. They all had alterior motives, but Jonathan seemed different.

Kat could drive, but her father insisted that she be driven so there was usually a car outside the school, waiting for her. It was Friday so that weekend she was spending the night at her friend Jen's house. Jen was waiting for her at her car, but when Kat came out of school, she noticed Jonathan in his car right away. She debated whether she would go talk to him or not.

She walked over to Jen's car and Jen immediately asked, "Aren't you going to go talk to him?" Kat lied and said, "I haven't really thought about it. Besides, I'm old-fashioned. He has to come talk to me."

Jen laughed and said, "Liar." Jen turned on the radio in her car and put the top down. Kat propped herself up against the car and pretended to be interested in what Jen was talking about.

Looking over his shoulder at the sound of some music Jonathan saw a girl and another girl leaned against the car with her back to him. It didn't take long for him to figure out who it was, her hair gave it away really. But, what would he decide to do. Seeing as how she wasn't driving as the car seemed to be the other girls, Jonathan got in his car, closed the door, and turned to on. Going in reverse he backed up and pulled alongside the car where the two ladies were hanging out.

"Hello ladies," he said with a smile. "Excuse me, but do you mind if I take Katalina from you?" The girl shook her head and practically pushed Kat off and over to his car. "Well, it's good to see you again," he said, and smiled as an introduction. "I was wondering, are you good at Trig? I suck at math, plus coming here from another school hasn't helped at all." It was a different kind of pick-up line, but he had done his research and knew she was an A student in Trig.

Sitting in his car he could not help practically staring at her with a smile that he could see she was overwelmed by. He never knew he had such power in a smile.

It wasn't long before Jonathan had pulled up beside them. She hid it well, but she was glad he came over.

She gave her friend a stern look when she was practically pushed into his car after he asked if he could steal her away.

"I was wondering, are you good at Trig? I suck at math, plus coming here from another school hasn't helped at all."

She leaned against his open window and said casually, "I know enough to get me by, but I'm not really tutor material." She lied. She was great at math amongst every other subject.

Jen shot her a look and said, "Liar." She opened Jonathan's car door and pushed Kat inside. "She'd be happy to help." Kat just sat there staring forward, controlling her blushing.

She stuck her tongue out at her friend before saying, "I guess I could help. Just don't smile. I'm only helping with math, stud."

Jonathan knew she was lying but wasn't going to say anything, but they were both interupted as her friend called her a liar and without hesitation shoved her into his car. Laughing at the craziness of it all plus having her land on his lap in a funny position he smiled and looked at her friend who gave him a sly look. Helping Kat into the passenger seat he smiled, "Well, it is settled then, you are my tutor," he said and zoomed off with a wave to her friend.

"You have a nice friend there," he said with a laugh and smile as he looked over to her. "I live right down the street actually, I have no real reason for driving to school." And he was right because in no time they were in his driveway next to his huge house. His parents definately had some money as Kat's surely did, that was the place they lived in and the people that lived here.

Walking with her to the door he unlocked it and walked inside with her behind. Immediately ahead was a note that said that his parents wouldn't be home till very late and that he was on his own for dinner. "Well, what do you think of the place?" Putting his bookbag down on the table he opened it and threw out his Trig book onto the table in the dining room.

Kat didn't really have time to say anything in the car because in no time, they were at his house. He had nice house though it was a little smaller than her own.

When they entered the house, there was note saying that his parents wouldn't be home until late. This made Kat feel a little uneasy to be alone in the house with Jonathan even though he seemed pretty nice.

"Well, what do you think of the place?"

She looked around as Jonathan fumbled through his bookbag for his Trig book. She smiled and said, "It's nice. Cozy. I like it." She walked around the room looking at the paintings and pictures on the walls, pausing longer at Jonathan's baby pictures. She laughed and said, "You had the same smile. With a little less teeth, of course."

She walked over to a stereo system and flicked the switch to a station she liked. She swayed her hips a little to the music, did a little turn, and walked back over to the table where Jonathan was standing.

Watching her as she walked around and checked out the place, the paintings, and pictures he smiled as she looked at his baby picture. Why his mother still had that up there he didn't know. Her next comment made him smile even wider and he even laughed. However, he really had nothing to say as she continued her search around the little area she travelled, but what could one say after what she did next?

As she turned on the stereo and did a little dance, swaying her hips to the music, Jonathan watched with great interest. The school girl uniform, those legs, and the hips nearly made him go into a trance by it all. She was truly remarkable. Laughing he smiled, "Now how am I suppose to get my mind on studying when you go and do something like that? Beautiful women can not just go dance like that and think us guys can get back to studying." Sitting down he looked up at her with a smile as he opened his book.

Going over a few things he showed her what he needed help with, hoping she had a much clearer understanding to it all.

"Now how am I suppose to get my mind on studying when you go and do something like that? Beautiful women can not just go dance like that and think us guys can get back to studying."

She laughed at his comment and said, "You'll just have to learn to control your hormones when beautiful women are around."

She sat down in th chari beside him and listened to him as he explained what he needed help on. She was so close she could smell his cologne which was making it very hard to concentrate. She didn't even noticed that he had finished until she glanced up and saw him watching her expectantly. "Uh... right. This stuff is pretty easy, but you have to get down the basic principles first....." She continued to explain the principles and pretty soon forgot about the cologne. She quizzed him and laughed at the funnt faces he made when he was stumped by something.

There was lots of laughs most of the time they had been together thus far and it never really ceased throughout them being together. As she sat down next to him after making the hormone comment that caused lots of laughs he smiled and got into the problem with Trig. After explaining it all to her he looked up and over at her, but she seemed to be fixed on something, maybe even day dreaming.

"Hey! No day dreaming on the job," he said jokingly as she then got into the problems he had. Shaking his head at times she had helped him on a few things, but at times he had no clue what she was saying. Her laughs at his faces humored him as well, "I don't believe you are suppose to laugh at your student when he can't figure something out," he said with a nudge to see side playfully.

"However, I do understand much more than I did before so I guess I owe ya some thanks so far." Her perfume was intoxicating, so much so that he found himself drawing closer to her at times and barely pulling himself back in time before crossing the line. Shaking it off he looked back at the book with a smile. Suddenly, he slammed it shut and sat back. "I need a break, so....," he began to say. "How in the heck are you single? I mean every guy in school wants you, its more than obvious, but from what I hear they all have sad stories involving you." Laughing, he continued, "You just like to play hard to get don't you?"

As she looked at him he looked at her with as much intensity as he could. He wanted her to pick up on his thoughts and interest in her through what he said, it was indirect, but fairly obvious.

He had caught her daydreaming and they had had a laugh about it. They had been laughing the whole time and to Kat, it was refreshing.

"I need a break, so....," he began to say. "How in the heck are you single? I mean every guy in school wants you, its more than obvious, but from what I hear they all have sad stories involving you." Laughing, he continued, "You just like to play hard to get don't you?"

She looked at him and leaned back in the chair, "That is the million dollar question. Sure, every guy in school may want me, but it's for all the wrong reasons. They all want to nail the headmaster's daughter or what is it they call me? The 'goddess'? I should be flattered by such a title, but in reality, it just means I'm unattainable and everybody wants some. I don't play hard to get. I'm just waiting for the guy I want."

She sat in silence for a moment, listening to the radio. She jumped up and said, "I don't wanna talk about it anymore. I love this song! Let's dance." She pulled on his hand playfully and laughed, "How can you resist? I'm the 'goddess'."

She let go of his hand and went over to the middle of the floor where it was open. She moved her body to the bump-and-grind music. She ran her fingers through her hair as she danced, then ran them down her body to her hips. She crooked a finger at him and said, "Are you coming?"

Jonathan smiled during her reasoning why she was single and unattainable. It didn't seem like there was any reason that she was single besides that everyone wanted to simply nail her. He had thought she was being light-hearted about the whole reasoning, but there seemed to be some underlying sadness to it all. Silence followed and he remained silent as she seemed to be lost in thought once again. But, it didn't last long as she suddenly jumped up and wanted to do more active things.

"Whoa," he said as she pulled him to his feet surprisingly. "Dance? Ummm.... well since you are the 'godess' plus my tutor so I guess I can't resist." Watching her dance for a moment in her schoolgirl skirt and blouse were simply enough to quickly bring him as she called him on with her finger. Walking over to her he reached out and took her hand and danced with her as he closed the distance.

Smiling he looked her up and down, "Well, my smile is definately better than my dancing, hope I can keep up with the 'goddess'," he said with a good laugh.

Kat laughed as she continued to dance. "I'm sure you'll do just fine."

She danced against him seductively, keeping eye contact. She locked her hands in his and pulled them around her waist so she was completely against him. She grinded her hips against him. licking her lips. Being seductive came natural to her so if she was being forward, she didn't notice.

The song ended and it switched to a slow song. She stayed in his arms and said, amiling, "So... enough about me. Tell me about you."

As she pulled him closer and he wrapped his arms around her waist he felt something different in her than before, probably as she slowly grinding her hips against him as her body was now pressed against his. Looking down at her as she licked her lips as she seductively grinding her hips into places that drew attention Jonathan began to wonder just how much of an unattainable goal she actually was.

Finally, as the song ended and a more slower one came on the grinding stopped and instead they just held each other close and it was now her turn to ask him about himself. "Well, I just moved here, miss my old school less and less with each passing moment, and starting to really like the prospect of going to this school," he said with a smile. "Can't wait till soccer season starts, that is for sure, been playing it since I was jeeez, can't remember that far back."

Pulling her closer to him so that her head was resting on his shoulder Jonathan slowly led them and turned slowly to the music. "Don't you find it odd that the music went from a bump and grind to a slow dance?" Laughing he looked down to see that her skirt was beginning to ride up so that more of her leg was now exposed, even some of the back of her thigh.

"Well, I just moved here, miss my old school less and less with each passing moment, and starting to really like the prospect of going to this school," he said with a smile. "Can't wait till soccer season starts, that is for sure, been playing it since I was jeeez, can't remember that far back."

She smiled as she listened to him talk, her head still pressed against his shoulder. She had played soccer all of her life and the fast that he played it too, made him even more appealing.

"Don't you find it odd that the music went from a bump and grind to a slow dance?"

She laughed and said, "No. Why? Are you disappointed?" She looked up into his eyes for a moment before pulling his face down to hers. Just as their lips were about to touch, her cellphone rang. Their were still alomst touching when she said, "Excuse me for one minute." She pulled away from him and grabbed her phone.

She answered it and said, "This better be really good." She slipped out on the front steps and closed the door behind her.

Jen said on the line, "It's a bet. The whole thing is a bet. I heard Tim and the boys talking about it at the coffee shop. He'll win 200 dollars if he nails you."

Kat was pissed, but she said calmly, "I'll take care of it." She hung up her phone, took a deep breath, and went back inside.

Jonathan was standing at the table, looking down at his Trig work. She put on her best smile and walked over to him, saying, "So where were we?"

She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him close for a passionate kiss. She finally pulled away from the kiss and said, "Let's have sex."

She noticed the shock on his face and said, "Oh, come on! You can take my virginity. Well... it's worth 200 dollars, right?" She pushed him away from their embrace and started gathering her books.

Jonathan smiled and shook his head as she asked if he was disappointed that the music had changed. He surely wasn't disappointed as they both seemed to move in for a kiss when suddenly her cell phone rang and she walked off. Pissed, but not too much considering he knew she would come back, he walked over to the table and looked down at his Trig homework trying to finish alittle before she returned.

Finally, as she returned and seemed not hesitant about returning to where they were Jonathan smiled as she wrapped her arms around his neck and then met his lips with hers in a very passionate kiss. Jonathan was totally lost in the moment when she pulled back and told him she wanted to have sex. Shocked and really confused on where that came from, his fears were brought to light as she brought up the whole bet.

Standing alone for a moment as she gathered her books Jonathan finally spoke up nearly as she was finished. "What are you talking about? There was no bet. Yeah the guys came up to me, remember when you smiled at me? They wanted to impose a bet but I declined it. Obviously they are setting me up to lose the opportunity to spend time with you because there is nobody stupid enough to talk about such a thing when they know your friend is nearby," he said as he kept his distance.

The truth was there was a bet, but he had never planned on fulfilling it by telling them what did or didn't go on. Two hundred dollars was a reasonable loss for him, he would lose much more to spend time with Kat. "Kat, we have just met a few hours ago and I must say that I care for you very much, you are beautiful, smart, and fun to be around for I haven't smiled and laughed this much in some time. Look at me," he said as she turned to face him.

"I would never do something so stupid to jeopordize my chances to spend time with you, never, no amount in money is worth losing such a chance to smile, laugh, dance, and hold you," he said with obvious sincerity on his face.

She tried to listen to his explanation while she packed her things without hitting him over the head with her Trig book which was how she felt at the moment. She saw the sincerity in his face as she watched him out of the corner of her eye, but she had seen it before and it was usually followed by a lie.

She turned to him when he requested it.

"I would never do something so stupid to jeopordize my chances to spend time with you, never, no amount in money is worth losing such a chance to smile, laugh, dance, and hold you,"

She almost caved at that moment, but she said, "You forget one thing. Those guys are stupid enough to say that in front of my friend. They obviously don't want you to win the bet. I don't care about people easily as you can tell from my track record with guys. I felt like I cared about you even though we only met a couple hours. But I don't know if it's long enough to trust you."

She moved over to him and said, "Part of me just wants to jump into your arms while the other part wants to break your arms. I don't know what I want."

Jonathan shook his head, unsure what to say to make her trust him. Yes, he had made the bet, but he never truly wanted to. He really just wanted to get them off his back about it all. As she walked over to him and confronted him, unsure if she wanted to jump into his arms or break his arms Jonathan gave her an emotionless expression. "Then, do neither if you do not trust me, I never invited you here to bring either decision upon you. You chose your destiny and I have been myself since I met you and since you've been here."

"I don't know what else to say, if you do not trust me I understand, it is truly very reasonable, but, that kiss, there was something there was there not? Those laughs, they were real, those smiles, real." Placing his hand upon her cheek he looked into her eyes with some sadness. "If this has all be fake, a lie, then tell me that there is nothing there," he said as he quickly took her into her arms and kissed her deeply upon the lips for a long and passionate kiss. He put everything he had into it, all that made him the man that he was.

Pulling back after the kiss he kept a hand upon her cheek as he looked deep into her eyes.

As he spoke, she wanted to trust him so badly. She hung on every word he said. She felt deep her heart that he was sincere

When he pulled her in for a passionate kiss, she almost melted into his arms then and there. She felt so comfortable locked in his embrace. There was no denying that the passion was there.

As the kiss ended and he pulled his face away from hers, she remained with her eyes shut with his hand against her cheek. She savored what had just happened and the warmth of his hand. She bit her lip and slowly opened her eyes. As she did, a tear ran down her cheek.

She took a deep breath, looking into his eyes. She whispered breathlessly, "I've never felt this way before..... It scares me."
