Cascall rose from the ground where he had fallen just a few minutes earlier. Any signs of the gate he had travelled through had vanished without a trace. He closed his eyes, momentarily thinking of his peaple. Would he ever see them again? The lowlander Ranec he had taken as a son. The young man had made him as proud a father could be. Now Ranec was back in the lands of the Farlain fighting the greatest army the world had ever seen. With Cambil dead and Cascall in another dimension the young boy had been forced to take the command of the few Farlain and Pallides fighters that remained.

Cascall's mind raced through the precious days among the peaple he loved with all his heart. He had loved them but had left them. Hopefully to return one day with the aid they so desperately needed. The aid from the queen beyond the gate. The warrior queen who had never seen defeat. He had seen her twice in his life.

The first time was in his own world when he held her dying body in his arms. Her words then had chilled him. She had reached up and touched his chin. "You look so young Greybeard." She had whispered with a trickle of blood coming from her mouth. "You kept your promise. You said that i would see you again, and i did." That was the last words she said in life. Cascall closed her unseing eyelids. He was not ashamed by the tears forming in his eyes.

The next time he saw her she was a three year old child he saved from the demons hunting her. He killed the demons with the help from the ghost of her father. The great king Ironhand.

Now he was seeking her aid. In this reality she was a grown woman. The queen of a kingdom that was fighting their own war. The kingdom of Atria was under siege of the Outlander army that seeked to take control of the thriving land.

Sigarni was a queen of no peer. She was a powerful warrior and had the best trained troops there ever was. Cascall just hoped that she would aid his cause as he would do his best to aid hers.

In this reality he was seeking her aid.
