OOC: Because the 5-word one is going so well...For this thread, each post is half of a complete sentence. If your post is the first part of the sentence, you can make it a single word if you like. But if your post is the second part, you must complete the sentence, and punctuate it with a period or question mark or dancin' banana, whatever. Enjoy. Newbies welcome. Along with anybody else who can start or finish a sentence. (This may disqualify certain heads of state, but most other people will be able to handle it.)

There were days when no one on the island did anything but laugh, despite

the fact that, most of the time, on an island named Makundu, in the Maldives, there really wasn't much to giggle about.

OOC: Hmmm...Evidently the duck joke is not an inviting lead to follow up. I feel obligated to dig us out of the ditch I dug for us, so I'll violate a rule and post twice.

A lone woman stood up to challenge the ancients athourity, "This is no time for joke old man" she said.

THE CONTENTS OF THIS THREAD HAVE BEEN DISASSEMBLED, TAGGED, NUMBERED, THEIR POSITIONS MAPPED, AND MOVED TO A NEW FACILITY.

PLEASE POST AT THE NEW THREAD, "THE ONE- SENTENCE STORY THREAD."

This way was wierd, and it wasn't working. But we did have some nice thoughts cooking, so hell. Live is too short to post half of a sentence, and since words are the only thing on earth in limitless supply, let's live life on the edge and each post a complete sentence.

:D

See you at the new thread.
