So far I've seen Texas and Florida well represented here, are there no other Gulf Coast States with people? Come on, Louisiana! (My birthplace). Just an observation, folks.
I saw a posting by someone named Ogre. Made me smile big time. I'm an EQ fan myself.

Glad I could make you smile. So many EQ fans out there not funny, yet my name was derived before the "EQ revolution" came around :)

Keep On Smiling

Ogre Good! Me Like Ogres!

Whenever I mention that I like EQ I usually get puzzled looks, Lol! Once I experimented with it I never went back to a traditional chat room ever again. Biggest problem is watching what ya say around the under-18 crowd that populate it, but the EQ guild I'm in is made up of mostly British Guys and I'm like one of 3 females in the group, so we have a flirt fest generally going on. I've even offered to send nekkid photos of myself if someone'll buy my warrior a horse, Hee Hee! (If ya don't play EQ, then you wouldn't understand that part).
Howdy Mississippi :0P I'm really beginning to wonder about Louisiana. Georgia even has plenty (Though not a Gulf State). Alabama has nice beaches on the coast (second only to Florida).
Lalalalala, kinda ran out of things to say at the moment. Have fun!

EQ

Nope, EverQuest (EQ) is a sort of Dungeons and Dragons game played in real-time, where the players are online and represented by avatars (I'm generally a wood-elf Druid, level 34. My Character/Avatar used to look a lot like me, but I've since changed her hair to a darker color to go with the new graphics). I've a bunch of friends who get online with me and we play the game, flirt up a storm, and have a grand time. It's a virtual world like no other I've ever seen, really kewl!!!
My biggest wish, though, is that it would take a page from "The Sims" and allow Nudity, lol!

Mississippi here

I am from Mississippi. Also lived in the great state of Louisiana for a while and would love to go back there and live again. I also play EQ on occasion. Been about a month since I turned it on now though. Some of my friends are addicted to it like a drug, but I just don`t get into anything like that real heavy. Oh well. Later.:)

greetings

Checking in from Jackson, MS. Been here over 18 yrs. Won't tell you where I moved from 'cause then you'll call me the dreaded "Y" word (only saving grace is that I was born in Texas).

One question...How long do you have to live in the South to be considered a Southerner?

Re: greetings

Hi wileycoyote...I think you may have reached the point of calling yourself a southerner after 18 years. If you regularly use the words *reckon* (pronounced 'reck-in') or *ya'll* I think you are okay.

I was born and raised in Mississippi but have lived in Louisiana for the past 12 years.

Ya'll take care now! ;)
