This is true but I don't think we're at a point in the 9th Circuit where we have majority quite yet, but we're close. I think he will eventually appoint at least five new members to the court. I think he has turned at least two or three other circuits.

It won't make as big a difference as one would hope you have to keep in mind that The Trial Lawyers Association is 98.5% Democrat and all law schools are 100% Democrat.

What we will see is a roll-back of individual liberty, the Bill of Rights, personal freedom, and any and all checks on corporate power; basically we will be on our way to a police state. Now granted, there are a couple people on here who would really like to see this; either because they live in a country (Russia) that already is a police state, or that is just their ideal utopia. But it is quite alarming how much influence the executive branch has on the judicial system- if there was a complete take-over of it, then all checks and balances would be removed and we would have, well, basically, Russia. Again; I know some of you want to see that happen; most of us don't.

Buddy, the conservatives haven't been trying to pass hate speech laws or campaign finance laws that would actually outlaw books and films before elections. And they sure haven't been trying to take guns away from law abiding citizens.

You also didn't mention that Trump appointed a judge who sided with a company that fired a trucker for leaving his broken down trailer beside the road to keep from freezing to death.
And you failed to mention our president who would like to change libel laws so he can sue people who report facts about him that he doesn't like.
You also didn't mention all the conservatives who think it's perfectly fine for a US President to ask another country to meddle in US Elections, three times.
