Animals - "House of the Rising Sun"

*is listening to this song right now, and loves it*

I just realised last night how cool David Bowie's "Space Oddity" I was drunk, and noticed all the tiny details I never noticed before. I guess that is a good drunk/high/tripping song.

I've got BOC turned up as loud as my little speakers can go.. waking up everyone in my house... and dancing... sometimes the old stuff is perfect.

Laz, for some odd reason, I relate to just about everything I have ever seen you post.

LOL

Cannonball... cannonball coming.... :)

another good high/tripping song.. "Thick as a Brick" Jethro Tull, the full 43 minute version.

No doubt about it, and I dare you to prove me wrong. The all time, number one, getting drunk, or high album... I'm not gonna spell it right...

Inna Godda Da Vida

Iron Butterfly

i think you got it right, actually!

just make sure it's one with the full version of the song!

Thanks, Moridin, for the time-tripping suggestion. I love the Animals and had to put on their 2 "best of" CDs.

"Please Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" slays me every time.

What a great song!:)

After "Louie, Louie" and "Gloria," that was the next song my h.s. garage band learned to play--LOL.

Lol! Great!
I used to be in a garage band, too. We got as far as learning "House of the Rising Sun" and "Me and Bobby Mcgee".
I was the organ player. :)
