the bad news? in my 'about the author' bit, I didn't put any contact information. Just "X is an author living in Y". Everyone else put these long blurb things. Honestly, I don't know if I'd want anyone to get in touch after reading what I wrote, but it occurred to me that maybe I could have gotten some more calls for submissions that way.

Any other published authors have experience with this? Did I majorly screw this up?

Well, if you have a website, the really determined ones will find you by Googling. That could be a good thing or a stalker thing.
