The Good Kind of Insomnia

Ok, this is somewhat of an AntiRant. It's the expression of something that kept me awake tonight for 45 minutes with a smile on my face that won't go away. Tonight, talking to my lover on the phone, I got a real pick me up from a less than stellar week. With just a soft warm tone, she told me that everything I was doubting in myself was part of what made her fall for me, and I just felt three times lighter than I had in a long time. Knowing that she loves me, and that I love her, so deeply, is this great feeling, and I had to say something. So, Ignore me if you like, I realize this is a bit sugary, but I've got this smile that won't go away, and I just needed to share.

How wonderful it is to hear about a relationship that is going well. She sounds supportive, and you're lucky to have someone who can pick you up when you're feeling down. I don't think it's sugary at all-- sometimes you just have to say it out loud when something that good happens. I'm very happy that you've found a good one. There's something magical about female/female relationships. *sigh* It makes me feel wistful for one of my own....
