The Girls from the Hammam series

Last month I was lucky enough to go to Marrakech and whilst there I experienced a hammam albeit a luxury one rather than a public one. The experience itself was a very professional one though I do profess to getting an erection during one of my massages and whilst getting undressed in the locker room one of the female attendants came in to hand me a robe and slippers and hadn't really expected me to be disrobed already though she didn't seem to mind either. These couple of situations, the lighting design, ambiance, atmosphere of the place has really got me thinking it would make a fantastic focal point for a story or series of stories focusing around a traveller who gets involved with a woman he meets there and who subsequently introduces him to other women who work in the hammam all of whom have different likes and peccadilloes . The idea stems from a simple encounter flourishing to something more grand in terms of story branches with side characters. I think the vision is there for something that is for the most part culturally true but seen through the eyes of a tourist who finds it all a bit exotic and sultry.

I was wondering if anyone had any Hammam experiences or bath house/sauna experiences they could draw upon to give me some pointers to focus my thinking. Also any guidance in terms of fiction (erotic or otherwise) that would help me attune myself more culturally towards the Arab world.

Any advice or thought would be much appreciated and would garner a credit of appreciation in resultant work.
