The german lady and the escaped prisoner of war.

Winter 1944 early evening very cold light snow
Miss Helga Klink is sitting in upstairs cellar trying her best to keep warm and as she is looking out of her window watching the snow fall.
she see's a man's body on the side of the road and he is wearing a uniform but its not a German uniform its the uniform of an American soldier.
She knows that if she helps him their will be hell to pay from her fellow German's.
But if she does not help him he may freeze to death even he has not already done that.
so she gets dressed as warmly as possible and she runs outside as fast as she can
and checks for a pulse when she finds one the young woman carries him inside of her house.
and up to her cellar puts him into the bed covers him with as many blankets as possible and turns up the heater Then the young woman waits for him to regain consciousness.
