OOC: I'm open to anyone jumping in with characters as you can see there are plenty of positions. Teachers, students new and old, town people, whatever. ;)

IC:
Lisa had taken the librarian job with high hopes. Although she had worked hard for her degrees in English and History she just couldn't deal with people any more. Books were much safer. Plus in the library SHE was in charge, she could make people quiet down or leave.
Lisa wasn't small, she stood about 5'7 and took care of herself but, her entire attitude said she was tiny and frail and easily hurt. The wrong people always saw it, she'd hated high school and college never fitting in and always the butt of the joke.

Dear Valley was a small town, built around a very exclusive girls boarding school. A quiet town, the campus was mostly closed and when the girls came into town they were mostly well behaved, though they all walked with that 'I am the most important thing in the world' stride that Lisa remembered so well from school.
When she was at the school library they treated her with the utmost respect though she sometimes heard the giggles. They laughed at her for being soldyond and yet taking an old spinsters job.

Then the sky had fallen.
Announced at the end of last semester it would be a co-ed school, it would also be an open campus.
During the summer new houses had sprung up, as well as two bars and three eateries serving mainly pizza.
Students had been streaming in for weeks.
Steeling herself Lisa unlocked the school library for the first day of the new semester. She checked her dress as she walked back to the main desk. She had wavered about wearing such a dress but it got so hot in the library in the afternoon with the high windows full of light.
The fabric was light but, layered hiding her curves a little. Though short sleeved it kept her fairly well covered from neck to just below her knees. She didn't like how the belt pulled it all together though. She wore short heels
She long ago learned to hide her ample chest and full hips lest cruel jokes turn into groping. She was only 26 however and no reason to embrace her 'school marm' nick name yet.

Lisa

After a slow morning of put away new orders she had a meeting. Stacey a freshman would be helping in the library, part of her scholarship. Checking again she saw that Stacey was already fifteen minutes late.

"Not a great start." Lisa muttered, seating herself before the computer to wait.

OOC: Anyone is free to take Stacey.

Stacey is into all things old, she regularly has sex with the 85year old caretaker called Joe
Stacey doesn't sound like she could possibly read.

Please do, you obviously have nothing to contribute worth our time

Dante Cattrel
Age: 19
Height: 6'0
Weight: 180
Brown hair, green eyes

Dante was somewhat dreading his first day at this school. His parents had insisted on sending him here when they had heard it was becoming coed. He hadn't had any choice in the matter, being told he'd come here or he'd be completely cut off on his own. With no job and no immediate prospects for his future Dante had accepted the ultimatium and had come to recently co-ed school.

He was dreading it because he knew most of the females were not happy with the change. They liked their school the way it was and the idea of allowing boys to come didn't make many of them happy. He sighed as he walked onto campus, looking for the school library, figuring he had a couple of hours before classes and it was the most likely place for him to not get hassled if he just sat quietly reading. He pulled the door open, stepping inside and going to an open seat, hauling his books out of his bag.

Lisa

Still waiting on her new assistant Lisa noticed the boy slunk in. "Well thats not Stacey." She mumbled.
She went back to her computer, ignoring him. Until he started rearranging chairs for his feet. Leaning back he started reading. She knew she had to go tell him to sit properly but, she didn't want to. He wasn't really hurting anyone, but if the Head mistress, Mrs. Lippet heard about it the Lisa would be in for it. Mrs. Lippet had taken an instant dislike to Lisa.

As she squirmed thinking what to do she knew that the only reason she was hestating is because he was big, and looked like someone used to getting his way. Squaring her shoulders she stood and made her way over.

He was so absorbed in his book he didn't hear her approach, he jumped when she spoke quietly but firmly, "I'm going to have to ask you to put your feet down."

He turned the page, his nose buried in the book, Orwell's classic 1984. He yawned slightly, wishing he were still in bed, but it was his first day at the new school, it certainly wouldn't pay to be late... Instead he looked around and saw a couple of chairs around and figured he could put his feet up and relax. He leaned back in his chair, his eyes opening and closing as he absently turned the pages.
Suddenly a voice behind him "I'm going to have to ask you to put your feet down." He jumped at the voice, thinking no one was around and his chair began to topple backwards. He cringed, knowing what was coming. He fell backwards, landing hard with a loud OOOF, before scrambling back to his feet, blushing furiously as he looked at the woman, obviously the librarian. "I'm sorry about that..." He said softly, his face beet red in embarassment.

Lisa struggled not to giggle nervously, she hadn't meant to startle him but the sight had been hilarious.

She could see had truly embarassed him though, and reached out one hand carefully, "Its really not a big deal," she told, " I wouldn't care except I'll get it if anyone finds out I allow that sort of thing."
She saw his jaw clenching and withdrew her hand, thinking he was angry.

He blinked at her, she seemed quite skittish, young for a librarian too, and if his eyes didn't deceive him she had a lot going on under that librarian's outfit of hers. He pushed that thought away, he wasn't here for stuff like that. He rubbed the back of his head, his jaw clenched in pain. "It's ok, obviously I shouldn't have been doing what I was doing.." He said with a slight chuckle indictating the mess he had made. He began pulling the chairs back up. "Oh ummm I'm Dante, I'm one of the new students... obviously..."

Lisa laughed, trying to sound at ease, "Yes you are obviously new." She bent down and retrieved his book. " '84 huh, not exactly popular around here, too many similarities." she instantly felt a blush spread , "I shouldn't have said that."
She noticed the boy, Dante, smile though. She was surprised to find herself pleased by that. Everything back to right she held her hand out, "I'm Lisa, I mean, Ms. Claren I guess, but if you really want my attention you had better call me Lisa."

"Ah well it's a pleasure Lisa." He said with a slight smile as he took her hand, shaking it gently. "Yeah... my parents wanted me to come here, it's the best school in the state and I pretty much had to go or be disowned." He said with a chuckle, it was a bit of an exaggeration, but not much of one. "In any case I'm real nervous about being here, a lot of negative attitude about the school going co-ed.." He subtely looked her up and down, again appreciating what he saw. She seemed pretty young and that made him curious. "So you seem pretty young to be a librarian, most of the one's I've run into are at least twenty years older than you."

Jake wandered through the halls of the school, receiving many a dirty look from the girls. He didn't blame them; he wouldn't be all that excited if girls invaded his all-boy school. Then again...
He shook his head. Not a good state of mind to get into when trying to make a first impression. Finally, he found the library; his best friend. Walking in, he glanced at the librarian and started browsing the shelves.

She laughed again, surprised at how much she was enjoying justing... chatting, with a man. "I think you'll find many of the girls very receptive soon. I guess your right," she blushed," I'm a little too young for this job but I like the work, and it leaves me travel time." She looked away, not sure why she was continuing but she was, "Books are safe I guess."

She jumped when another boy entered, but he looked like he knew his away around the library.

"Yeah I hope so..." He said in response to her comment about the reception to the new group of students. "I just feel like an invader... I guess this is sort of how my brothers and sisters felt when they desegrated the schools... only I'm not being screamed at." He said with a slight chuckle. She seemed pretty friendly for a librarian, it was nice to meet someone friendly, he was really afraid of the reaction he was going to get, so she was making him feel a lot better. "Travel time eh? So where do you travel to?" He asked with a smile on his face.

She blushed heavily now. "Oh here and there." She went to many museums and historical sites anround the world when she could but, most recently she had been driving two hundred miles to visit sex stores.

Recently, after joining the all- female school population, she'd found herself bored, even lonely for once.
"I like to visit many different museums and the sites of world- changing events. I spent a few weeks visiting civil war era sites, slave train stops, southern plantations." She babbled, " On a different trip I went to Mexico and South America, saw the old temples and pyramids. I'm planning other trips for our next break." She fidgeted, nervous again.
The entire time she'd gone on she was thinking of the things she had been doing and even worse, the things she'd been thinking about doing. It had all started with that website left on a school computer. The girl had sworn it was for research, and did actually produce a paper, but Lisa had enthralled
reading the stories written and exchanged by normal people.
"That's new." Dante smiled, "My family travels for sun and exclusivity, not history."

With out knowing why she found the craziest things coming from her mouth today, "If your different maybe I could take you somewhere around here sometime, there is quite a bit of history right here Deer Valley."

Lisa glanced around again for the other boy who had come in. Wondering if she should go help him. She tried to catch his eyes as he browsed, to no avail.

Dante smiled at her as she talked, she was a bit nervous, he imagined she didn't have to deal with too many men as librarian at a school that was all girls until now, but she seemed attractive enough that he figured she'd have had a fair bit of experience so her nervousness seemed a bit odd. "Sure, I'd really like that, I'm a fan of historical stuff. One of my old teachers really turned me onto it. She taught me that those who don't know history and doomed to repeat it, a good mantra I think." He smiled at her, thinking slightly inappropiate thoughts. "But yeah that sounds like it could be a good time indeed."
