The Friday Club

I return with one of my "Title in search of a story" threads.

This title popped into my head as I struggled to sleep this morning. It appears not to have been used yet on Lit.

What kind of club is it?

~ housewives who get together (book club, art class, wine tasting?) do they engage in lesbianism, or bring in young studly males?

~ couples gather for bbq/pool party/hot tub, swapping ?

~ college students meet Friday afternoon after class. Maybe they pair off based on some fun activity- billiards, poker, beer pong...?

~ teachers in the staff room after school?

~ an office full of swingers?

Couples attend. Selected single males are invited. Wives are openly entertained by the invited guests in view of all. Husbands can only watch, not participate.

as noted in the other thread, the worst fears are allayed, at least for now, but it is still a long and bumpy road ahead.

things are not "under control" but less fear that the light at the end of the tunnel is an oncoming train. Frankly, not seeing the light yet, but the darkness is less intense.

Friday Night wives’ reading club (or something innocuous like that). All faithful, good wives married to good men. A new single friend is invited. She’s a wild girl and she slowly corrupts each wife one by one into having affairs with one man, or one man for each. What about a story where on Friday's a group of air traffic controllers, or other high stressed dispatchers, go for an all out orgy to relieve stress?

Maybe it starts as a cultural lecture series, but is quickly derailed when someone unwittingly books an art expert whose specialty is erotic sculpture or something. The normally strait-laced group gets pushed out of its comfort zone, and the boldest member makes a move on another member s/he's had a thing for, and one thing leads to another, and well - you can take it from there.
