As a result of my endless frustration over the ridiculously high cost of good software, I finally succeeded in finding what I wanted and much more. These links are what I would like to share with you today;

The Free Zone

I'll start with Sourceforge. At http://www.sourceforge.net, you'll find FREE graphics editors, and FREE software like anti-virus and anti-spyware solutions plus a whole slew of other really cool stuff. I will continue to update this page as necessary, so stay tuned, stay informed, and spread the word if it's for FREE!

BEST of the NET!

This baby is my newest and possibly most favorite download because it's not only FREE, but it's also HUGE. Try about 587 MB. or an hour and a half with my cable modem for nothing but superb clipart. A must see.

(This program is not in any way related to MS Paint except for the software programmers, having unlimited undos, layered capability and cool effects like drop shadow and too many more to even list.)

This nifty FREE program is on par with the big boys like Adobe and Corel. Any shortcomings may be few, but it will save you a bundle of cash.

I just got a taste of this powerful, fast and very flexible image viewer, editor and converter by (of all people) some techies form Microsoft. Guess what? You got it, another FREEBIE!

pierresoft.com is the creator of adesign, a not free, but worth a look image manipulation tool.

NON-ESSENTIAL but X-TRA COOL STUFF

The Free Software Foundation is well worth your time, but it's not going anywhere so you can browse as time permits.

File Forum News

This extensive resource of mostly FREEware is largely unknown to most. Why? I really don't know.
