The Fraken-poem

I was roped into inventing a challenge at 3am whilst minding my own poetic business, by Butters, I'm blaming her for this,

I need, I think at least 5 volunteers that don't mind writing with others, I want to try and build a poem using every ones collective writing styles, not the same title challenge but a same poem challenge, however I want the poem to be unknown to all poets until the end, so it'll involve myself as a filtering mediator obviously via pm, once I have the numbers and a title, I will pick a poet to write the first stanza, they will pm it to me,

I will forward that stanza to poet 2 who will do their poetic business and pm me back
poet 3 will receive poet 2's stanza to build on,
poet 3 will post me their verse, which I will forward to poet 4
etc,

all you will see is the stanza before yours, so there is no idea what the actual poem looks like, once it is finished I will post it in its entirety to see what freakish monster we have created!!!

the more you stick to your own writing style as opposed to trying to emulate the poet before, the crazier this thing is going to get.....

LOL. I must be the collective memory for the PoBo. Wasn't one of the duet challenges like this, where we wrote the alternating lines for a poem? Liar and annaswirls had an especially wonderful one where the entire poem was a palindrome (the same both forwards and back) or close to it I believe.

And I'm in but I have a freakishly difficult schedule at work todski. I'll try to pay attention and get in and my share pm'd as soon as I can so that the challenge can move forward apace.

it looks like it'll be running at the same time as the main challenge but, i would imagine (?), end sooner, so no really disruptive overlap and with only 5 people taking part it shouldn't create any problems.

No it's all good. Tod and I talked about both challenges a while back. I don't think overlap is going to be an issue at all.
