of the above listed, I've only seen #8,15,30,45,57, and 87.
What have you seen?

10, 29, 69, 75, 80, 86, 87.

I wanted to rent Yasujiro Ozu's trilogy but each film is so long and I've never come across such an old film that has dated well..

Its a stupid list anyway, define foreign film.. anything which isn't american? Categorising film into "america" and "other" is just ridiculous and unbalanced.. maybe a top 100 films list I'd accept.. though again, thats stupid because there are far too many to choose from, same goes with foreign films.

I've seen 10/45/65/75/80/87

I'm glad to see so many german movies in there. :)

However, I have seen parts of 8/22/30/40/57/61 in my film classes. So these are really pretty good and influential movies.

I have to admit I’ve seen far too many. The Kurosawa films are brilliant – for their time and now.

Not a huge Fellini fan but enjoyed La Dolce Vita & Satyricon.

Seventh Seal is perfect when you’re in a ‘the world is hopeless and I’m depressed’ mood. All Bergman films are challenging but strangely satisfying.

Love Amelie, Delicatessen and any French film really – Breathless – yum!

Run Lola Run is a good film – brilliant concept and Wages of Fear!

Think I should stop now.

What about "In the Mood for Love".. "Woman in the Dunes"... "Farewell my concubine"... I jusy saw "Zhou Yu's Train" that was hot ...

Love Farewell my concubine. I just didn't want to go on and on.

I think they had In The Mood for Love on the list.

No Il Postino, Suzhou River, Audition (or as far as I know any of Takeshi Miike's), nor any of Tsai Ming-Liang's as far as I know (haven't actually seen any of his, but I am suprised he doesn't appear to have one on the list..), Takeshi Kitano no where to be seen.. considering he is considered one of the most influential directors worldwide and the same goes for Lars Von Trier (even if he does sound like a cunt..)

I have probably seen just as many (Kurisowa and Fellini) without noting them because I didn't realize what the title of the movie was that I viewed.

I like the original Swept Away By the Destiny of the Deep Blue Sea. It gets a raw deal because friggin Madonna and her cheap hub decided to trash it in a bad remake.

I would prefer to see anything foreign as compared to the Hollywood trash.

I've seen...

1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 17, 19, 20, 21, 30, 31, 40, 43, 44, 45, 49, 54, 55, 61, 64, 65, 66, 72, 74, 79, 80, 82, 87, 96, 97

I don't agree with these rankings however. There isn't one Krzysztof Kieslowski movie listed in the top 100. Bah!!! Also, my favourite foreign movie doesn't appear on this highly subjective list, Alain Berliner's Ma Vie en Rose.

What exactly do they mean by foreign? Non-english language? I didn't see any Australian films on the list. Where's Road Warrior?

I've seen 37 of these. I'm suprised and please to see Run Lola Run on the list. Great movie.

My favorite on the List is Throne of Blood.

That I can remember for sure having seen under the title as listed:

1,2,3,4,5,9,10,11,15,19,20,21,30,31,32,39,43,45,47,52,54,61,65,66,72,76,78,82,83,84,87,88,89,90,94,96,97,99.

Speaking of lands down under neither "Broken English" nor "Once Were Warriors" nor "Whale Rider" are on this list, but Yimou Zhang's Hero is????

I like Yimou Zhang work, just not Hero.
