Hunter was on his way to the Inter-species Employment Agency or the 'Pet' store as it had been more commonly dubbed. He was in need of a new maid as the last one had left his employ so she could go and look after her sick Grandmother.

He had been sorry to see her go. She had kept his room neat and tidy just the way he liked it and saw to his every need without needing to be told half the time. They had been together for five years and he doubted he would be able to find another girl like her but he could only try.

Hunter was in need of a special kind of maid. He already had a full household staff to take care of the running of his household, no what he needed was one that would look after his personal room, take care of his needs, be a secretary, and also travel with him when he went to his tournaments.

Hunter was actually a Martial artist of some renown. Ranked in the top ten in the world, he competed in several tournaments all over the world each year as well as doing promotions and attending banquets. He needed someone who would be able to organize and oversee those things for him.

As his limousine pulled up in front of the large building he smiled. He had already sent in his request and had been assured there would be several candidates for him to choose from on his arrival.

As his chauffeur opened the door he stepped out into the sun and stood blinking for a second before casually strolling towards the large doors. He was a large man, six foot three, with an athletic body that was not overly muscled but did not have an ounce of fat on it. His close cropped blonde hair was a little coarse and his sky blue eyes darted around taking in everything. He had an easy going smile on his face and today was dressed in a plain but well fitting dark grey suit.

Entering the building he casually strode up to the reception desk.

"Good morning. My name is Hunter Phillips. I do believe your Director is expecting me."

His Australian accent was still there even after all these years of touring the world and now living in the USA. Ahh well, you could take the kid out of the outback but you could never take the outback out of the kid he smiled.

His name had produced the usual results. Wide eyed recognition followed by stammering then quick action. Suddenly an older woman appeared and quickly led him to a lavish office.

"Welcome Mr Phillips, it is a pleasure to meet you and an Honor to provide you with your new maid. I have a list of candidates for you," she told him handing over several folders, "However I find the best way is to see the girls in person as well."

She hit a button on her desk and her door opened and several girls strode in. "Girls, say hello to Mr Phillips."

Luna was distraught, but again prayed with her eyes closed as she waited with the other girls to meet the client who was to buy one of them. This was the first time she was put on sale, with her long brown hair down to her waist and sharp electric blue eyes and pale skin, and standing at 5' 6" with a flat belly but not skinny she was not very pretty in her opinion and had never been chosen as a candidate. Now this was her first time being one and she was not very happy. At least they let her wear clothes. This was one of the few shops, since most felt of her and others of her species to be lesser beings. Then lost in her thoughts Luna heard the door open and in her maid uniform went out with the other girls and in an annoyed tone said hello like the others but glared with her eyes at the guy. He may have been handsome but that would not fool Luna. Then the woman spoke again. " All of you shifters who can control your shifting, shift to your partial form. Now!" Then as on cue all of the girls shifted partially and Luna's ears and tail came out, her eyes becoming catlike. After all, she was a snow leopard shifter. Wild she hoped the man would not buy her. Now to explain the earth awhile back went through a HUGE change and everybody changed into were's or shifters. Either cat wild/domestic or dog or wolf. The cats were treated as lesser beings while the dogs/wolves were treated as royalty basically. Back to the present Luna waited, eyes sharp and staring forward, but also praying in her mind that she wouldn't be picked.

Hunter calmly sat in the chair as the ladies took up their positions. There were seven of them ranging in height from just over five feet to one that looked to be about six foot. Most had the usual skin coloring although one was very dark and one very pale.

Hair styles also differed greatly as did hair color. This was were he could usually pick the race of the shifter. He saw a Tabby, Lion, tiger, Persian, Calico, The dark skinned girl turned out to be a Panther and then there was the Pale skinned girl.

He had no idea what she could be and that intrigued him. Pale skin but brown hair and the most piercing blue eyes. He kept a sly glance on her and as they shifted he gasped slightly as he saw she was a snow leopard. She was also beautiful.

He did not let his interest show though. If he did he knew her price would immediately double. He pretended to look at several of the other girls, then examined each of their files.

All of them were well trained and any of them would be able to fulfill the duties he wanted them for including ...Luna, that was her name. Very well that was who he would have.

Nodding to the director to show he had made up his mind he watched as the girls were led away.

"The one called Luna I think," he said handing over the files but keeping hers on top. "I will take her on a three month trial basis to see if she works out. Standard fee's and clauses. If she works out and stays in my employ a bonus will be paid to your company for finding her."

Smiling he stood up and reached across her desk and shook her hand. "I expect her to be ready to leave in ten minutes. Any luggage she has can be shipped to my house at my expense. Have all the necessary paperwork ready for me to sign by the time she is ready."

With that he left her office and began to make his way back towards the reception area.

Luna waited patiently for the man to take his pick. He intrigued her but she was not going to let that show, forcing her ears and tail to stay neutral though her ears at first did flick a bit. She felt humiliated being like this. In this stupid maid outfit that thankfully was modest but short on her. She just wanted to crawl into a corner and hide. As soon as she thought that Luna punched it out of her head. NO! she was better than that, dignified. Even if she was called a lesser species she would hold her head with pride. Then she saw the man had made his decision and they were lead away to their rooms and she went back to hers, her only possessions the top and shorts she wore, both black. Since she had white skin and white fur she liked to wear black to show she was modest and wore clothes. So folding them up so if she was chosen she sat on the bed, waiting to hear the decision.

In two minutes the secretary that handled most of everything hurried in. "You have 8 minutes. He wants you." Luna's eyes widened and a few tears formed at the edges of her eyes but she blinked them away quickly and nodded. "Alright. Give me five." The secretary nodded and left but Luna knew she was right outside the door so Luna got her carrier bag and put her normal clothes on and put the maid uniform in the bag, knowing they would want her to have the uniform since she was chosen. Next she took a deep breathe and came out, the secretary giving her black tennis shoes and socks and she put them on then followed the secretary to the man. Luna didn't say a word as she was given over, her masked eyes cold and unfeeling. A protection method as she waited to leave with this man, wondering if she would be given a collar, the damn things. They made her feel vulnerable, but also she liked them. So she hated them for giving her that dilemma, the degrading things.

Hunter saw out the corner of his eye his new maid being led towards him. He was still signing the seemingly never ending paperwork, and he hardly gave her a seconds glance except to confirm she was there before going back to his work.

Eventually he was finished and he smiled and shook the directors hand again before turning to look at Luna. She was now wearing normal clothes and footwear and carrying a small bag.

"Is this all you have?" he asked and after receiving her answer he nodded and then reached into his coat pocket. He pulled out a small Black leather collar with a bright golden bell on the front. He had picked it up on a whim but was now glad he had. It was going to look stunning on her.

Moving forward he slipped it on her then smiled. "Now you have officially become my maid Luna. Please follow me to my car and we will go to your new home."

Taking her bag from her, he grasped her arm in his and led her out to his car. He waited and once the door was open he helped her in and then waited until the car was safely on it's way to his house before he started to talk to her.

"Very well Luna, I have read your file, but why don't you tell me your actual story and what is not in that thing. Tell me about the real you."

Luna watched patiently as the man finished the paperwork and then had to hid a blush as he turned toward her, he was more handsome up close but Luna pushed that thought away as he asked her if that was all she had. "Yes." That was all she had to say to him and got a stern glare which she ignored. She would never say Sir until it was forced with a whip or something. Though the guy seemed to want it as he never even introduced himself. Arrogant canines. They thought they were so much better huh? Oh how she would love to rip him to shreds! No! She would not think that, she may be wild but she knew better than to kill another that didn't do anything to her and wasn't to be food, since other animals such as deer could be food. Luna though still didn't like the man and as he drew out a collar she didn't like him even more and didn't say a word as he put on the collar, forcing her face to stay neutral even though on the inside she crumbled.

She was then surprised as he took the light carrier bag for her but didn't show it except for her eyes widening slightly. She then followed him to his car and was again surprised as he helped her in, except for the collar he seemed to be a gentleman but she wouldn't let that fool her and she remained silent until he spoke and she sighed. "Well man I have never really spoke to and who's name I don't know, I am a snow leopard who was born into this disgraceful world which thinks cats are lesser beings and decides all of them should be collared and that the canines are superior to cats and are the only ones that should be treated like human beings! I also have a snappy attitude if you couldn't tell and will never call you Sir or Master so you better tell me before or I will be calling you man who's name I don't know for the rest of the time I know you and you can't change my attitude unless you decide to beat me cause even if you try to starve me I can wait you out." Luna then huffed, going silent, regretting her outburst a bit but not much, looking out the window with a slightly sad expression. Then thought of one other thing. "Oh also I do remember your last name but if I am to call you anything I would like it to be your first, I'm not only an animal."

Hunter looked at her for a minute then smiled and then burst out laughing. Oh yes he had picked right.

It took him a few minutes to calm down and he had to hold up his hand to calm her down at one point.

Finally he was able to get himself under control although he still had a wide grin across his face.

"Forgive me for that Miss Luna. I was not laughing at you I promise, but more at the situation. You are right it is unforgivable for me to have not introduced myself. My name is Hunter Phillips," he told her bowing a little towards her. "As for your assertion that cat's are no better than second class citizens, well I do not agree with that. In fact some of my best friends just happen to be cats. Oh and not all dog's have it easy you know," he winked at her.

He reached into a small cabinet a pulled out a small bottle of water.

"Can I offer you something to drink? Water, juice a soda? Sorry I have no alcohol, don't touch the stuff."

Sitting back he looked at her then smiled. Sipping his water he weighed her up then came to a decision.

"Very well Luna here is the deal. No one in my household calls me Master. Some call me Sir but I do not force them to. Some call me Mr Phillips and I do prefer that in business situations, but casually I like to be called Hunter. As for the collars, I hate them myself but they are required by law whenever you are in public. On my estate you can wear it or not it is your choice."

He took another sip of his drink and looked her up and down.

"I am not sure if you were told exactly what you were being hired to do, so why don't you tell me what you know about the job."

Luna watched him as he looked at her before glaring as he laughed. What? Was he laughing at her?! Grr this man was annoying. He must have sensed her anger cause he led his hand up so she waited to say something. Then he spoke and Luna just blinked, surprised as he spoke. After he finished speaking Luna again spoke. "Well nice to meet you Hunter. Also what I meant is we aren't usually treated any better than second class citizens. That's all. Heck I'm being your maid, that is possibly even lower. Also if you have any cold Dr. Pepper that would be nice." Luna then took a deep breath and thought about what they told her. "Well I know I'm going to be your maid which will involve cleaning and other usual stuff like maybe doing laundry and stuff like that but I'm not too certain cause they didn't tell me a lot and I don't know if I am going to be doing stuff in one area of the house or all of it and............ I don't know if you are going to want sex. I know a lot of people who buy cats do." Luna was scared of it but the prospect also was intriguing but Luna snapped out of it, sighing as she knew when she went into heat she was sooooo locking herself up and not coming out until she was basically starving or really thirsty, or it ended. "Also on the subject of buying, if we are no better than second class to you people than how come you can buy us?!"

Hunter sighed as she continued speaking. So they had not explained the job to her. Damn! He had specifically told them to explain the whole job to all the applicants and give them the option whether or not to proceed with the application. Looks like they had done no such thing and now he was caught in an awkward situation.

"I agree with you Luna. Just because you happened to be changed into a cat instead of a canine you can now be bought and sold is totally ridiculous. Please don't lump me in with the majority of society though. That is like me saying that all cat's are stupid because they are so weak."

He stared at her as he reached into his fridge and passed her a Dr pepper. "Now I know that last statement is not true but you get what I mean."

Smiling again he looked at her and began again in a friendlier tone. "As for buying you, I only do that because it is the only way to get people like you into a decent household. Unfortunately there has been a slight error this time," he grimaced. "I normally use another company but they did not have a person who met my standards and it seems your company did not fulfill my wishes. I told them to tell all candidates of the specifics of the job and give them the right of refusal. It looks like they did not do that seeing only their share of the money."

Sighing he looked at her. "The actual job is to be my personal maid. You will be responsible for cleaning my rooms, being my secretary and arranging my itinerary and travel schedule, booking hotels etc, and yes at times it will require you to provide me with sexual services."

He looked at her and grinned. "I had hoped you were prepared for this but it seems you were not. If you wish I can take you right back and I can find someone more willing to fulfill the position."

Luna listened quietly to Hunter, really interested in him at this point as he spoke, taking in what he said and actually made her ashamed. Ashamed at herself because without even getting to know him she had lumped him in with everyone else, thinking he was an arrogant canine. She smiled then as he passed her a Dr. Pepper, loving the taste. "Thank you." She then listened as he explained and he seemed miffed that they did not explain to her and she nodded along with him, listening to what he said up until "sexual services". What the hell?! No no no, she was not going to do this, she was going to wait until she met the perfect cat mate for her right? Someone who would treat her like a lady? A gentle kind and decent man? Oh boy. Then he looked at her and she felt something spark as he continued talking and though it was faint she felt like she wanted to be with him and not under her control she spoke. "No it's okay, I think I will stay. I'm not too sure about the sexual services but I think I can manage the job." After she spoke Luna felt like, 'What did I just do?!' but said nothing, smiling gently.

Hunter saw by her expression that she was probably not all that alright with the sex part. Most people were not which was why he had insisted that the position be fully explained. He hated when he had to go over everything, especially that.

His job didn't allow him to really build up a lasting relationship with anyone and so he had taken to using sex workers. However that had proven dull for him. He had craved for some form of connection and so he had hired his first maid after careful consultation with the employment agency.

It had worked out well and so far he had only had three personal maids. Luna would be his fourth.

"Very well then, I guess we will wait until we get home to discuss everything then. It won't be long. I have a place just out of town. We will be there in twenty minutes so if you have any other questions feel free to ask."

Luna listened as Hunter talked and then nodded. "Well then how about I start with a question? What are you? I know most people were turned into shifters but I haven't seen you shift at all, not even once. So it's made me curious to see what you are. Sorry if it's imposing. There are just so many different types of shifters. I after all am a cat as well so curiosity is in my nature and yes I know curiosity killed the cat. That joke is so annoying." Luna was seriously miffed by that joke, she had been teased about it since she had grown up in a community with a lot of wolves, her mother having a lot of money, but then she died and Luna then had to survive on her own so went to the agency, even though she was ashamed at having to go this low.

Hunter smiled widely. "Ah well. If you are asking what I do for a living, then I am a fighter. A mixed martial artist actually. I compete in unarmed and armed tournaments all over the world, hence my need for a Secretary/Maid really," He explained.

Taking a sip of his drink he looked at her then chuckled.

"Although that's not what you really meant was it. You really want to know what I am. Am I a shifter and if so am I a Wolf or a Dog."

He could see her staring at him with an intense gaze but he was used to this and had stood up to much worse than she was putting out. Smiling and chuckling he answered her. "I am a Dog. A Dingo actually, hence my accent. I am originally from Australia and while the change seemed random, I was changed into my native dog," he said sounding proud. "I normally only change when I am fighting but..." he began as his features rippled and his body changed a little.

Across from her now sat a equally well muscled humanoid canine. He was several inches bigger with short blonde hair and short ears. Two sky blue eyes looked at her and his mouth opened and smiled at her showing pointed teeth with large canines. His hands had shortened and grown hair and his nails had lengthened a little and he grimaced a little.

"Damn I hate doing this with shoes on. It always pinches my paws. Anyway this is me. Well one part of me. I hope you don't mind if I change back quickly. These clothes are really not suited for changing in."

Hunter let the change go and he was human once more. "As you can see, Being a Dingo does not really make you a star in the Canine world. Whoever said the Wolves were the elite must have been them. I think it was because most people in the government got changed into one at the time that it worked out that way."

With a wry laugh he looked at her. "Sure would have been different if a few of them had been Cat's huh."

Luna listened as he explained he was a fighter and she wanted to chuckle. Please. Martial arts competitions where no one is actually really hurt is nothing. Luna had even been in a gang once, and could kill someone with them being wide awake in the daytime, without them even knowing she was coming........ with the right timing and information of course, she wasn't a magician. She was a techy person though, even though it didn't show right now. She had a sharp mind and with her speed as a snow leopard, (you have to be fast to be able to run through snow) she was able make quick decisions. Her speed wasn't even just physical either. Her mind went 120 mph.

Anyway to say she was surprised when Hunter turned out to be a Dingo was an understatement. Usually the ones with power and money were the wolves. Not that she cared anyway, she learned something new which helped her, you had to know a ton of information about a person if you were going to live and work with them. Mostly it helped her to suit his needs, but it was only a little bit. She would need to know much more........ but that was to come later. She also needed to know what time he went to bed, cause that was when she would eat. You know dogs usually eat a lot so you would think they would care about the cats? Nope, not one bit. Sometimes she could go two weeks without eating lunch at school until her mom just decided to pack her lunch, and then that got stolen. It wasn't an easy life for Luna.

Then he changed back and spoke and after he did Luna sighed. "You know you make think you have a rough life but really you don't. You may not be some superstar but you are rich and you have enough money to freaking buy a person for heaven's sake. I couldn't even buy my meals before this! I was thrown on the street when my mom died and was homeless before going to the agency! You have probably never even had to go without one meal! So don't talk about having a rough life or not being a star cause you don't know what it's like!"

Luna's breasts heaved after that, her eyes waver and she then looked away. "I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me, please forget I said anything." Luna was now regretting her words, her eyes sad and if she wasn't forcing herself to hold back she would have droopy cat ears and tail right now, and her eyes would still be sad but catlike. One thing she knew how to do, only transform partially. It was easy for more wild animals. For some reason they had more control, and though one thing was because of wolves being in government, it was also cause of the control they had over shifting, they though since they could they were better. Which was not the case, it was just because of evolution. Evolution had dogs come out of wolves, of course since they weren't the original species they were going to have less control, same with cats. Luna snapped out of her thoughts quickly though, truly regretting her words and for snapping at him. She just couldn't keep her cool and she didn't know why. She was used to bottling up her words so why was she telling this man everything? Control Luna, you need to have more control, she told herself and with that her eyes hardened with determination and ice to cover her emotions.

Hunter's eyes clouded over as she yelled at him. There it was, that old line about how would he ever know what it was like for a poor little cat. After all he was a member of the ruling cast so how could he ever know what it was like to go hungry or starve.

How quickly people forgot. It had only been 20 years since the change occurred and though he might not look it, he was actually 25 years old. He could remember a time when there had been no such things as Shifters in the world.

He had been born on a large outback cattle station, one of five children. He had an older brother, two older sisters and a younger brother. Well when the change happened his younger brother had not been born. His older brother was ten when he was born, his sisters six and five. They're parents had worked on the station as leading hands, their mother the cook while their father had been the manager. He had generally run the place for the owner.

It had been a good life, but certainly not a rich one. His brothers and sisters had already been helping out around the place and they all knew how to ride, rope and drive cattle, including himself.

Then had come the incident. No one knew what had happened but suddenly one day people woke up able to change up into either a Canine or a Feline. To say society was changed was an understatement. Thankfully his life had not changed much for several years. People still needed meat and way out where they were politics did not play much part. His family just got on with business, as did all the other workers, regardless of what they now were. In fact the owner was now a Tabby as were his whole family.

It was not until he was seven that things really changed. Members from the local government had turned up and suddenly demanded that the owners leave their place as they were no longer allowed to own such a large piece of land. They had fought to keep it but eventually they had been taken away and the place was put into his fathers care.

Hunter had been just old enough to understand what it all meant and had been as disgusted as his father had been. Of course they could do nothing, so they had carried on running the place but had always treated everyone equally.

As he came back from his memories he smiled at her. "Perhaps you should get to know me a bit more before you say such things. Still I won't hold it against you."

Looking out the window he saw a familiar landmark. "Looks like we are almost home."

Luna grimaced as he spoke, knowing she had overreacted but with her whole life having been where cats were treated horribly and the wolves and dogs got all the attention, she didn't know what it had been like for people before the change. She was only 19 and the change had happened before she was born. This world was all she knew and it was a horrible world. Why? Why couldn't she have been born in a nicer world? Why did it have to be this way? But to say a nicer world was unrealistic. In every world there is going to be some discrimination. There just always will be.

Luna snapped from her thoughts when he said they were almost home and Luna got nervous, wondering what her new home would be like. What other people would be there? If there were what would they be like? Luna just hoped she didn't starve or anything and that they had internet. She may be a cat but she liked her internet when she could get it. They were out in the country though so she wasn't sure about it. "So do you have internet out here? Also are there very many other people? A-any other girls? Like a wife?" Luna had a blush to her cheeks on the last 2 questions, feeling foolish for asking. "U-um you don't have to answer the last 2 questions, I'm sorry I shouldn't have asked." Luna turned her face full away from Hunter, her face as red as a tomato.

Hunter had to laugh. "Luna if I had a wife I really wouldn't need you in a sexual way now would I?" he began as his laughter turned into chuckles. "As for your other questions, yes this is a fully equipped place with full access to the internet, which you will have access to on your time off. Staff wise I have two gardeners, a cook, a chauffeur, two maids and now you. One Gardener and the Chauffeur are males and the rest are females. Shifter wise both maids are cats, the chauffeur is a dog, the gardeners are a wolf and a cat and the cook is cat."

As they turned up a drive he gestured in front and then indicated the window next to him. "If you look out this window you will see the house in a second. We entered my grounds a minute ago but the road follows the hill and will switchback allowing you to see it in all it's glory."

Sure enough as they glided around a corner a large house was revealed.

It was a sprawling two story house but not overly large.

"As you can see, I don't really go in for flashy," he smiled, "But there is a pool and private gardens around the back,as well as a tennis court."

As they got closer Hunter looked closer at Luna. "When we get there I will show you to your quarters and then we will be having a staff meeting. Considering the time I thought we might have a light meal and I will introduce you to everyone. Afterwards I can show you around while explaining exactly what your duties will be and what your pay will be. I assume they neglected to inform you of that as well. Is that okay with you?"

Luna frowned as Hunter laughed. Seriously, that was the second time he had laughed at something she said. Though at least he did answer her question about the wife, she still wasn't fully satisfied. She waited until he was done telling about the other people in the house before asking. "Sorry, I had to ask but even though you don't have a wife, do you have a girlfriend? I know girlfriends usually don't have sex with boyfriends, well sometimes actually but I need to know so I know how to act around her if there is one. Or if you are planning on getting one, also do you have any type of relationship with your other maids? Sorry I like to be informed though I wasn't. Yes I do know that may seem odd. One more thing, are any other of the cats wild and does the Wolf have territory instincts? I don't want to get in a fight with anyone."

Luna then looked out the window when Hunter told her to and her eyes widened when she was the house. It may not have been a mansion but it was good sized house, with a pool out back and private gardens? Tch, maybe she shouldn't have taken her words back, but with what he said maybe his life wasn't always this glamorous but he sure did have it good in the end. Unlike Luna. Yes it may have internet and it may be nice, but she was still chained by the sex and being a maid. If it wasn't so humiliating maybe she would enjoy it but........... Luna didn't think she would.

Luna then turned to Hunter as he spoke again and she nodded. "Sounds fine, also if it would be appropriate I would like to buy a laptop and other electronic stuff once I have enough money from the pay, which would mean leaving the house for a bit to go shopping. Also if I am not to sleep with you, and I do mean sleep since I know sexual favors are part of this, I would like, again once I have enough money to decorate where I will be living the way I want. If I'm going to be a live-in maid I would at least like to have some comfort. Like actually having a nice room to my preference and some electronic stuff that I can do stuff on in my free time. Don't worry I won't tell all about my life on the internet, I'm not stupid." Luna tried to half smiled but couldn't bring herself to, she needed the job but she didn't know if she could handle this, but she would try.

What had that agency actually told them. "Look Luna, perhaps this should all wait until we discuss the job and you see the house. All of your questions should have already been answered and I am never going to use that place again. In fact I am going to put in a very stern complaint about them."

Hunter shook his head as the car pulled up in front of the house and he jumped out. He never stood on ceremony at his own place. "C'mon Luna follow me."

He led her inside and straight up a grand staircase to the second floor. "Right then, to your right is the Servants wing, however you will not be living there." He led her down a short corridor to a set of doors. "On the left is a lounge/meeting room on the right a water closet."

Smiling he led her in a little deeper and opened two large double doors. "This is the main wing. Here you and I will live. You area is to the right, mine is on the left. Joint space is further along."

He opened a door on the right and led her into a series of rooms. "This first room is your entertainment room/lounge whatever. At the moment it is totally unfurnished but has several antenna ports and internet jacks so you can set it up how you want."

He led her through another door into another spacious but slightly smaller room. "Your bedroom. Again unfurnished and aain with several access ports so you can arrange it to your liking. The walk in closest is over there," he said pointing at one door, "While your bathroom is over there," he said pointing at the other. "Standard stuff. Shower, Jacuzzi bath, toilet, basin etc."

Looking around the rooms he smiled. "We do have various pieces of furniture in storage your welcome to look at, several beds, couches, tables etc that have been used in here before or other parts of the house that you are more than welcome to use, or there is the decorating bonus for you to use. Either shop online or I can get Jenkins to drive you into town to order anything you want to decorate the rooms."

He then led her across the hall and showed he a brief glimpse of his area. "Those are my rooms, and further down that way are joint areas. However we will get to them later."

He led her back towards the stairs and then down them and turned left towards the dining hall. Inside were the rest of the staff There were two younger girls in the dress of maids, they looked to be in their late teens early twenties. "Luna this is Kate and Grace, they are sisters." Next to them was a grizzled older man that looked to be in his forties. "My head Gardener Mitch and beside him," he said indicating a cute young girl in her mid twenties "Is his apprentice Dorothy. You have met Jenkins of course," he said as the chauffeur from earlier bowed to her, "and last but not least is Mrs Potts my cook," he said indicating a woman in her late forties.

Everyone sat down and started to eat a delicious roast prepared by Mrs Potts. "Well that is my staff and part of my house Luna and your part in it. After this we can discuss in more detail exactly what I need you to do, but rest assured, there is no wife, no girlfriend and no other liasons with staff members. However if you do not want to sign up for this I do understand, I can make other arrangements, however perhaps you could talk it over with my staff first."

Luna listened to Hunter and nodded. Really all the agency had told her was that she was to be a candidate to be this guy's maid. She really was told nothing else. So far though he did actually seem like a nice guy. So maybe she could trust him. "I don't mind you putting in a complaint. All they told me was I was to be a candidate to be your maid. That's all. 30 minutes before you got there. Seriously I had to rush almost to get into the outfit." Luna then got out of the car with Hunter and looked around before following him, listening to him as she went.

First he lead her up the staircase and once again she was reminded that even if he did have a hard life before he certainly had luxury now, and people could get biased off of luxury. The human world before, hmph. The world now had hardships unknown to the human world. Like getting kicked out of a paid house. Luna shook that thought away as he lead her and told her to the right was the servants wing and then surprised her by telling her she would not be living there. Well that was unexpected. She had expected to be living with the other servants. Uh oh. This could cause trouble.

Hunter then lead her to the main wing where he said both she and him would be living and said there was joint space up ahead with their rooms on either side. "I have a question. Is there a kitchen in the joint space? I wouldn't want to walk too far if I just needed a drink of water or something like that late at night or if I want to laze around on a day off if I have any I wouldn't always want to bother someone. So I was just curious." She then listened to him as he explained things and nodded. She knew though she was probably going to be buying some stuff, she had specific tastes. Cats were particular. Seriously. If they didn't like something, THEY DIDN'T LIKE IT. That's just how it was. "Sorry but I probably will be shopping online but I just can make a list for what I want, all I need before is a bed and a blanket, I just have particular tastes. Sorry. Cat thing, especially as a special breed. Snow leopards are more particular, if my mom was still alive you could ask her." Luna would not speak of her father though Hunter would learn, it was a very taboo subject for a particular reason.

He then lead her to a brief glimpse of his area and she spoke then as well. "Also you did say shop online. Does that mean I get a laptop? Sorry It would be appreciated and I could let you just not give me a couple weeks pay so you can get your money back." Hunter then lead her back down the stairs and to the dining hall and she blinked, bracing herself against the people. She didn't like this situation. These were people who knew this guy for awhile. She could tell they were like family. To have a new member come in? First instinct, especially cause of the dog? Run. She didn't though, those eyes, the wolf. It was almost like he was staying stay and though she wanted to growl she didn't, listening to Hunter and nodding at them as was her custom to say hi. "Um I would like to discuss it though this may surprise you I would like to discuss it with the wolf. He seems like how a wolf should be, wise and gentle but also with a firm hand that will tell you the truth, bluntly. I like it that way anyway. He can give me a good perspective on this. Sorry but I like getting a second opinion I just like doing it one on one." Luna did. Seriously she was so calm one on one with a person but place her with a bunch of people and she was a bundle of nervous that wanted to become as small as possible. This was from years on the streets, unloved and uncared for. But that was behind her, hopefully.

Hunter nodded at her. "Very well. After our meal you can talk to Mitch in the study for as long as you like. Oh and about that laptop, You will be getting one tonight. You can't run my day to day business schedules without one. Feel free to use it for your personal things during your down time, and to look for your furnishings. You will also be given an expense account to shop for a new wardrobe of clothes. I will be providing you with a few uniforms that must be worn at certain times around the house, but otherwise you are free to choose. However there will be a few guidelines in regards to your business attire. We can discuss that later."

As he talked bowls and plates were being passed around the table and everyone was serving themselves from them. There was roast potatoes, Carrots, Beans, Pumpkin, Cabbage, Onions, Sprouts, Gravy and slices of Roast Beef and Chicken.

Hunter drank fruit juice, but there was wine, water and soft drink available on the table as well. "Don't be shy Luna, Dig in. We don't stand on ceremony too much here. Were all a family and we eat as such."

Luna listened as Hunter agreed to let her speak with who he called Mitch in his study. Luna listened quietly as he also said she would be getting a laptop tonight and explained that she couldn't run his business schedule without one. Which she understood. A lot of things depended on the internet nowadays. "Thanks, I'm glad to be getting a laptop, it makes a lot of things easier." Luna then listened as Hunter explained about clothes and said she would have an account to shop for clothes and that she could look for stuff for her room on the laptop too. Then he explained about the uniforms that she would be wearing at certain times and she nodded. Of course she wasn't free all the time, she was a maid after all now. Then he said about having a few guidelines for business attire. "I do have a question about that, am I to accompany to work and where do you work? I am just curious. You said you were a fighter and I know little about the martial arts and everything. Since it is a more high end type of fighting sport.

Luna did notice that as he spoke the food was being passed around and noticed a lot of it wasn't what she really liked. She was more of just a meat person and vegetables............. well she didn't like very many of them. She then heard Hunter talk about digging in and that they were basically a family and she nodded, taking some of the carrots, onions and the meat. Getting a bit of the chicken and roast beef and ate slowly, savoring the flavor. It had been awhile since she had a good meal even though with cheaper food she wasn't so picky, it was just the flavor that mattered and a lot of vegetables did taste good to her. She finished her food quickly and sat silently for a few minutes before turning to Hunter. "Thank you for the food."

Hunter nodded then smiled. "No need to thank me. Mrs Potts did all the work so you should really be thanking her."

Looking down towards the end of the table Hunter smiled tenderly at the woman. "Another brilliant meal Mrs P. I take it our garden is flourishing again this year. You and Mitch have done a fine job and it looks like Dorothy has been a great addition to the household as well," he said smiling at the young girl.

"Now everyone this is Luna. She is thinking of taking up the job of my secretary." Hunter saw the shocked look on their faces and shook his head. "Yes I know I said thinking, but this new agency has really screwed up and she doesn't even know what her duties are let alone how this household is run. So for now I am going to let her talk to you and she can decide if she wants to stay or not based on that."

Smiling he looked at them all. "You are free to tell her whatever you want good or bad. I know I am not the easiest employer at times, one of the reasons I need her in the position," he chuckled as did they although Dorothy did not seem to understand why, "So be ready if she asks you and please don't be to embarrassed if the questions are a little too personal"

Turning to Mitch he raised an eyebrow. "Would you please talk to her first old friend. Take her into the study and answer anything she needs. I will be up in the gym working off all that food," he smiled as he stood up from the table and left the room.

Luna blushed as Hunter said he didn't do anything and that she should thanks Miss Potts instead. "Oh sorry, thank you Miss Potts for the wonderful meal." She nodded to the woman before listening to Hunter talked to her. He seemed like a nice enough man. The way he talked to his staff it was like he really did think of them as family. Then Luna saw the shocked looks when Hunter said about her thinking of taking the secretary position and her face shadowed over a little, her eyes cold. Of course, they were part of a tight knit family. She let Hunter talk even though she had dark thoughts from her past.

Luna then heard him talk to Mitch and the others and she blushed a deep red when they laughed and she blushed even more when he said about personal questions. Then he said about Mitch talking to her and then he got up and left. She then stood up and Mitch did as well and they went to the study and she sat down. "Okay first off I want to know, and yes this is personal. How kinky is your employer do you know? I know he did this collar because of the protocol but I would like to know if he um has any fetishes or anything that I should know about. You know how he is going to be with me if I accept, that is why you were laughing right?" Luna was almost sure of it but who could be 100% sure without asking?

Mitch looked at her. She seemed like a nice enough girl but he could tell that something was eating her up inside. Probably had to do with the stupid way the country was run these days he thought. Well he would tell her everything she needed to know. it would probably be good for her to take the job here.

Chuckling he looked at her. "No we were not laughing because he has any weird fetish's or anything Luna. We were laughing because of his comment. You see when Hunter begins to train for a tournament he goes all out. These tournaments he fights in are not really like the ones you might have seen. People do get injured and occasionally there have been deaths. He has to be in peak physical condition to compete."

Running his fingers through his hair he looked at her. "Unfortunately for him, there is a side effect for being that keyed up. A heightened sex drive. He did not realize it at first and you can imagine our surprise when our usually jovial Master turned into a temper tantrum throwing grump."

Smiling at her he spread his hands. "At the time it was just me and Mrs Potts and we were not living here. It took me two weeks to get it out of him, but I finally did and a quick trip from a hooker solved everything. Every couple of days he got seen to and he won the tournament, but he just didn't feel right. So we went to see a friend and they suggested the arrangement you are getting into."

Looking at her he smiled a little ruefully. "I know it is not the best of solutions and that it would be better if he had a girlfriend or even a wife, but he has been so busy trying to support his family and those back on the farm...." he looked at her worriedly and sighed. "Forget I told you that. If he wishes to he will tell you that part himself. Suffice to say he has no extreme fetishes that I know of and none of the other ladies that have taken this job have run away screaming. Oh and for your information there have been three in the past 7 years. The first lasted six months and she was just to get things started really. The next was 2 and a half years and the one you are replacing was 4. She only left because her Grandmother is very ill so he must be doing something right."
