Hunter was on his way to the Inter-species Employment Agency or the 'Pet' store as it had been more commonly dubbed. He was in need of a new maid as the last one had left his employ so she could go and look after her sick Grandmother.
He had been sorry to see her go. She had kept his room neat and tidy just the way he liked it and saw to his every need without needing to be told half the time. They had been together for five years and he doubted he would be able to find another girl like her but he could only try.
Hunter was in need of a special kind of maid. He already had a full household staff to take care of the running of his household, no what he needed was one that would look after his personal room, take care of his needs, be a secretary, and also travel with him when he went to his tournaments.
Hunter was actually a Martial artist of some renown. Ranked in the top ten in the world, he competed in several tournaments all over the world each year as well as doing promotions and attending banquets. He needed someone who would be able to organize and oversee those things for him.
As his limousine pulled up in front of the large building he smiled. He had already sent in his request and had been assured there would be several candidates for him to choose from on his arrival.
As his chauffeur opened the door he stepped out into the sun and stood blinking for a second before casually strolling towards the large doors. He was a large man, six foot three, with an athletic body that was not overly muscled but did not have an ounce of fat on it. His close cropped blonde hair was a little coarse and his sky blue eyes darted around taking in everything. He had an easy going smile on his face and today was dressed in a plain but well fitting dark grey suit.
Entering the building he casually strode up to the reception desk.
"Good morning. My name is Hunter Phillips. I do believe your Director is expecting me."
His Australian accent was still there even after all these years of touring the world and now living in the USA. Ahh well, you could take the kid out of the outback but you could never take the outback out of the kid he smiled.
His name had produced the usual results. Wide eyed recognition followed by stammering then quick action. Suddenly an older woman appeared and quickly led him to a lavish office.
"Welcome Mr Phillips, it is a pleasure to meet you and an Honor to provide you with your new maid. I have a list of candidates for you," she told him handing over several folders, "However I find the best way is to see the girls in person as well."
She hit a button on her desk and her door opened and several girls strode in. "Girls, say hello to Mr Phillips."
