Saint Vitalis (or, Vitalius) of Gaza (died c. 625 AD) was a hermit venerated as a saint in the Eastern Orthodox Church and the Catholic Church. He is the patron saint of prostitutes and day-laborers.

St. Dymphna, patron saint of rape and incest. She was canonized in 1247 and named patron saint of the mentally ill. Her patronage also extends to incest and rape victims and runaways.

Names must first be submitted to the Beatification process.The nominee is considered as a martyr to the cause but further investigation is required before Canonisation and the rise to Sainthood.

May I nominate adrina for Beatification. Given her persistence in espousing heresy in all manner of conversations prior to November 5th, her silence since the Election shows that a Damascene conversion may be underway.

Oh I know many may be doubters and fear adrina will backslide into the life of a sinner. But that is the beauty of Beatification, time will provide the truth.

Mr P This weekend the television series ‘Conclave’ is starting and then you can see what goes on in all its gory detail.

Conclave is a novel written by author Robert Harris. I would recommend all of his novels especially the four that are set in the era of the Roman republic and the destruction of Pompeii
