Simon Harding's brow furrowed as he looked over the accounts for the business that had been part owned by his dear friend now departed. He was looking over them at the request of his friend's eighteen year old daughter whom he had known since she was born, he had watched her grow up into a beautiful young woman and he had found that he had very deep feelings for her but he thought better of making his feelings known, she wouldn't be interested in him, a fortyfive year old man, old enough to be her father. So he adored her from afar. However when she asked him to look over the accounts for the business that she would become a partner in when she was twenty five he jumped at the chance to be near her.
"There's something fishy going on here." He muttered to himself,
There were several withdrawals amounting to thousands of dollars that had no explanation, they were all cash withdrawals made by the other partner who was now running the business.
He wrapped up what he was doing just as Amee walked through the door,
"Hi sweetie," He greeted her in his usual manner and waited for her customary peck on the cheek. "I'm just about done here, why don't we grab some dinner, I need to check a few things with you."
