Invitations were sent out to a wide variety of people. Upon responding, all of the invited individuals were told to report for medical tests and psychological profiling. For some, the months in between seemed to indicate it was all an elaborate hoax, or a grandiose failure. But then the next round of invitations came.

All of the respondants were given the location of a facility set up for the experiment. All needs met, housing, food . . . for two weeks.

Thank you for your participation. As per the previous invitation, you will be participating in an experiment. For the next two weeks, you will have a comfortable apartment and a wide menu of food. You will also have access to a gym, swimming facilities, and an indoor park. There will also be a variety of specialized rooms and devices available. Your objective is to just live and react in an environment when no one knows what sexual activities you have participated in. You have free reign to experiment and indulge. We only ask that you spend some time each night filling out your journal. You will be recorded, for research purposes only.

It seems like a dream come true for many of the respondants. For others, its a way to push their limits and prove something to themselves. Some want to draw their own scientific conclusions.

But why can't they leave the compound once they arrive? Weren't there more people here before? I'm sure its all part of the experiment. Nothing to worry about.

This is meant to be more sinister and mysterious and suspenseful than horror, but the setting can serve to heighten interactions and provide a backdrop for imaginative scenes. All I ask is to not establish any major absolutes about the nature of the experiment or who is running it. By mysterious glimpses and red herrings? Perfect.
