The only way to get your account deleted is by sending a PM to Laurel and requesting it.

Obviously, you'll need to have PMs turned on to do this.
If you want your posting name removed, or your posts edited, you'll have to specially request that as well. The posts will remain, but they can be edited to a few characters ( or an emoticon ) and your posting name can be changed to something such as "unregistered"
To ask for that much work, you'll probably need to provide a good reason why you want your account deleted, though. Stalker? Family too close to discovering you come here? Accidently link this account to Facebook?

Any free sex site is going to be overrun by guys who assume that you have never seen a with more personality than theirs. I would be willing to bet that none of them were sent by actual lit. authors. We have a little more class than that.

First, go to the top of the forum and click User CP
Then, click on the left menu item Edit Options
Scroll down to the Messaging and Notification section. You should see a box labeled "Enable Private Messaging". Uncheck this box, then scroll to the bottom of the page and save your settings.
Note that this section also contains the settings to turn off images in threads, avatars, and signatures ( another source of salami assault )
