Okay folks second try here. The concept is the Exiles meets DC Comics. This thread is the OOC thread for both teams. If we get enough interest the thread will be started. The team will consist of a mixed group with some characters coping with their struggles to retain their morality while having to make hard choices that could include killing people they hold dear. Others could include those willing to do anything to regain their places from their own world.

Dc Comics Character Lists

Pitch time part two. Imagine getting to play any take on any of the Justice league. Want to play a female version of Batman? A Superhero version of Deathstroke? Done.Other ideas could be Superman with less powers, or brought up byt the military rather than the kents. Beast Boy but Blue. Robin with super-powers? Does this give you all an Idea of the range these threads can take?

Now for the bad. This thread can and will include character deathes. When someone comes up with a new idea they can have their character die to bring in the new one. I'm babbling about this because it’s one character per player. I’m only having teams of Six (thats Five plus me) so if you don't make the numbers you can always give me an idea and you can run the NPC in that world if you want to.

So come one come all have fun saving universes or killing classic characters as you need to. But please, I would like for a basic understanding of english to be a requirement. No offense is meant in this but it makes it easier for the other players. THEY are waiting.

Heres Some Inspirations

Just Imagine Stan Lee Creating the DC Universe

Batman: He’s an inner city guy who gets abused by a caricature of a gangster, serves time after being framed and comes back as a pro wrestler (hence, the Batman costume) and costumed crime fighter.

Wonder Woman: This time from Peruvian mythology. Just imagine. If Stan Lee created Wonder Woman, instead of magically getting her powers from an Amazon mythology, she’d magically get her powers from a Peruvian mythology.

Superman: This Superman has an interesting twist – he’s an insecure lawman from another planet, insecure due to being physically weaker than his comrades. And in the course of the story, he finds himself stranded on earth following his wife’s murder. Earth’s gravity gives him his Superman powers, but he isn’t dedicated to doing good on his new planet as a top priority – he just wants to get back home. And Lois Lane? She’s a hoot – a money hungry agent trying to maximize Superman’s publicity. She’s a bit overdone, but there’s some decent social satire in this tale in the scenes after Superman makes his first public appearance.

Green Lantern: A college professor in archeology, who all the female students have a crush on and who believes in mythological artifacts. That’s right – Stan Lee imagines that Indiana Jones is Green Lantern. Stan Lee imagines that Green Lantern is a man without morals instead of fear.

Other Ideas

> A world without Superman: How would characters have changed?
> If Bruce Waynes parents had never died, what would have happened to batman?
>What if Bruce Wayne had being born a girl?
>An Atlantean with Green Lantern Technology
>A world ruled by either Ra's Al Ghul or Vandall Savage: How would our characters have changed
>What if Superman was a villian?

Remember: "In Elseworlds, heroes are taken from their usual settings and put into strange times and places--some that have existed, and others that can't, couldn't, or shouldn't exist. The result is stories that make characters who are as familiar as yesterday seem as fresh as tomorrow."
