Jack Huntington stood at 5'10" with short, dark brown hair and unusual deep gray eyes. Today he wore black pinstripe pants and a light blue shirt with a tie, and donned his usual white lab coat.

"Room 10 is ready for you Dr. Huntginton." Kara his assistant bubbled as she placed the patient's chart in holder outside the room.

Jack glanced at his watch as he finished his documentation from the last patient. "Christ, it's 6:30. Kara, this our last one right? No more after this?"

Kara was back at the front desk. "I'm packing up my bag right now Dr. Huntington!"

"Good," Jack said to himself as he got up and looked at the next chart. A 56 year old man with hypertension here for a follow up. Thank God, this will be done in five and I can get outta here.

He knocked and entered, and turned on his charisma. The medical stuff was easy. Jack had been practicing for about five years now. He was enjoying his life as a single, young physician with minimal other responsibilities besides his work. When he wanted to leave work, it wasn’t because he had a family to go home to or a meeting to attend, it was because he had a very active social life. He had lately been seeing a girl he had met at a bar in Sacramento – he had gone there for some R&R after a medical conference a few months back. They had had a great night and though Jack thought it would be another one-night stand, it turned out he actually liked her, so he kept her around. It ended up an ideal situation because she didn’t really want a committed relationship at this point, and so they were happily "engaged" in a friends with benefits relationship. Tonight he was supposed to go to a movie with her and needed to get the hell out of here.

He finished with the patient and waved him goodbye, dropping a joke as he left. He had a good rapport with his patients, and it paid off. He had a busy practice and made a sound profit off of it. “Alright, Mr Gorrey take care.” Mr Gorrey let himself out of the office.

Lassard sat down at his desk to finish his documentation, and then he would be out. A few minutes into it however he heard the main office door open and close, followed by the shuffling of someone entering.

“Hello?” A female voice.
Damn it, Kara forgot to the lock the door on the way out. Who the hell is this?

“Hello?” The voice called out again. It sounded desperate. Jack didn’t care. He wanted out, and if there was an emergency, whoever was in his waiting room could call 911 and have it taken care of. He typed a little quieter. He would just slip out the back door.

The sound of sneakers slapping against the pavement followed Marie Dallas as she ran down the busy city street. A girl from a small city in the heartland of the US, Marie had never seen so many people in one place let alone had to navigate a city that consisted of more than three stoplights. Why she had chosen to go to college a half a world away from everything she knew, Marie would never understand.

It had been a surprise when she enrolled at the small arts college that they required a physical for any student on their university health care. She had just seen her doctor back home shortly before she left for California, but it seemed that having a prescription refilled was not what they were looking for.

Her roommate had been seeing a Dr, Huntington and said that he was good. He was easy going, charismatic, and had the knack of putting anyone at ease. That was exactly what Marie was looking for. It had been nerve wracking to start a new life and hopefully the doctor would understand that and give her the clean bill of health hat she needed.

She was running incredibly late though. It was already just past 7 and Marie prayed that he was still there. If she didn’t get the physical by Monday at 9am, the university would revoke her benefits on their health plan. She didn’t relish the fact of being stuck so far from home without even basic insurance.

Coming upon the medical office, she was panting as she pushed against the door, stepping into a small and darkly lit office. Her harsh breathing was the only sound that she could hear at the moment and glancing around, she didn’t see anyone there.

“Hello?” She called out, her hand gripping the strap of her satchel tightly as she walked up to the front counter and glancing inside. “Hello?”

“Dr. Huntington?” She called out, her heart pounding in her chest, not just from the run that she’d just had from the bus stop but from the silence that greeted her. “Sir? Your front door was open.”

Turning from the counter, Marie nearly jumped from her skin as she saw a figure staring back at her from a nearby mirror. Her hazel eyes were wide, her long black hair wind blown from her jog, and her pale cheeks painted red from exertion. She had never seen herself as a great beauty. Her nose was a little too big, her eyes a little too wide, her lips full and pillowy. People described her as a finely formed china doll, her long limbs delicate and her curves moderate, but Marie had never seen the beauty that they described.

“Dr. Huntington?” She called out one more time, turning from the mirror to look around the empty lobby yet again.

Jack heard his name being called out, and this was a problem. It either meant that she was a pre-existing patient - or as he liked to think of them, customer - or someone had referred her. If he didn't see her, it could potentially backfire on his business. Word of mouth was key, and if he didn't please every customer, even the referred ones, he would have TWO unhappy customers.

Jack ran his hands through his hair in frustration. He wanted to get out. He wanted to get to his movie and then go and get laid.

Throwing his pen down on his desk he walked out to the waiting room in a huff, only to be stopped in his tracks at the sight of the young woman that stood before him. She was stunning. The combination of black hair and hazel eyes in and of itself was simply enchanting, and she was young. She couldn't be more than seventeen, eighteen tops?

In a split second, Jack's demeanor changed.

"Good evening," Jack extended his hand, bearing a professional smile. "How may I help you?"

For just a moment, Jack forgot about his pre-existing date. Whoever this was, she had his attention.

The sound of a deep voice made Marie jump and she spun around to see a very handsome man in a doctor’s coat coming through the door from the offices. She sucked in a deep breath and gave him a small smile as he extended his hand to her.

“Dr. Huntington?” Marie asked, watching as he gave her a smile. “I’m Marie Dallas. My friend Sarah Burton recommended you. I just moved to town and I’m in desperate need of a physical before Monday morning and I was hoping that you might be able to squeeze me into your schedule.”

The words just sort of tumbled out and she was left in awkward silence afterwards. “I’d be willing to pay a little extra. I know that you probably have other places to be on Friday night.”

Money was tight for her since she'd moved to California, but she was willing to do whatever it took to make sure that this was done before Monday. She couldn't afford to be lapsed in her insurance and as nervous as the city made her, she desperately wanted to make things work on her own.

She started to fidget as she stood before him, moving from side to side with nervous energy. She had been in such a rush that she'd simply thrown on the first things she could find in her closet. Her red t-shirt and her blue jeans were wrinkled, her sneakers old and dirty. She was positive that she looked a mess to the handsome, well dressed doctor.

'Please let him say yes' she thought to herself, nibbling on her lower lip.

Jack had been working in the city for several years now, and he was used to getting a high school or college girl in from time to time for these physicals. But this girl was different. She had something about her - he wasn't sure what - that gave Jack the impression that she was not from around here; that she was from some place simpler. In the city if you were late, you were late. It was assumed that once you'd made a mistake, there would be no forgiveness. It was just too busy to overlook the currents of life.

And yet this beautiful thing, somewhat frazzled-appearing, was even willing to offer him something more. The flash of an image of Jack ravishing her in bed occurred to his mind, but he did not give it any serious consideration.

Jack stood with his arms crossed, one arm up with his fingers over his mouth as he considered Marie's request.

"Well, you're right. I do have somewhere to be. Certainly a little extra compensation for my time wouldn't hurt. Ok, come." Jack opened the door to the hallway with all his exam rooms. He gestures inward. "Exam room three. Please take off everything and put on a gown. It's in the drawer under the table."

Jack didn't need her to take everything off. But if he was going to be late, she was going to make it worth his time.

“Really?” Marie asked as her eyes grew wide in surprise and extreme appreciation. “Oh my God, you have no idea how much this means to me, Dr. Huntington. I’ll make sure that this is worth your time. I swear it.”

She was gushing his praise, but she was extremely relieved. She smiled wide at him as he told her to head to Exam Three. She hesitated slightly about the part where she needed to take off her clothing, but she supposed that it was a physical and he would need to do a thorough exam. It wasn’t like she’d ever been a patient of his before and her medical charts were half a country away.

Slipping into the room, Marie placed her bag on one of the grey chairs in the room. Kicking off her sneakers, she left her little white socks on as she pulled her red tee over her head. Her jeans were unbuttoned and quickly shimmied down her long legs before everything was folded neatly and placed on the chair beside her bag.

Standing in the cool room in her little white bra and panties, she bent over the table and pulled free a tiny blue gown. She never understood why they made those things so small, but she supposed that they had their reasons. She unsnapped her bra, allowing her breasts to bounce free. They weren’t large by any means, but were definitely a handful capped with dusky pink nipples. The bra was soon placed on the pile of her clothing and she quickly shucked off her panties, throwing them there as well.

She wrapped the blue paper gown around her body and sat on the table, her feet swinging in the air as she waited for the doctor to appear. There was a nervous energy in the room, but she supposed it was more to do with her than anything else.

Jack waited in his office for a few minutes as Marie got undressed. He had never been the dorky type in medical school. He studied hard just like the rest of them, but he partied hard as well. He had maintained at least two girlfriends at any given time throughout medical school and residency. Only one had ended in a slap on the face. Jack, between his intelligence, his charisma and his physical attraction (not to mention his wealth) rarely didn't get what he wanted when it came to women. He wasn't an arrogant person, he just knew the ropes, the buttons.

And the more Jack imagined Marie getting undressed in his exam room, with no one else in the office, the more he imagine pushing her buttons.

Knocking on the door, he let himself in.

He closed the door and stood before Marie as she sat on his examination table, his stethoscope draped across his shoulders on his white lab coat.

"Ok, so this physical is for college hm?" Jack rubbed his hands together, "Sorry my hands are cold. They usually like these to be pretty comprehensive. I presume we can skip the usual history taking component? You don't have any medical issues do you?"

Jack moved closer to Marie, right up to the table. His pants grazed against her bare thigh. As she responded, he reached his hands up to under her neck to start feeling her glands. "Mm-hm, mm-hm," he responded to her, focusing more on how he was touching her. A light touch, with slow circular motions, he let his fingers drag down her jaw line on both sides and down her neck. "Just feeling the nodes here," he said in a quiet voice.

Jack knew full well the power of touch. And he was going to make the most of his.

Marie was nervously twisting her fingers together when she heard the knock at the door. Her eyes were wide as she watched Dr. Huntington step into the room, his very presence filling the entire space with a confident and friendly demeanor.

“Yeah, for college. I have to have it done to keep my insurance through the university.” She said softly as she watched him rub his hands together, telling her that they were cold. “It’s always cold in a doctor’s office.” She joked, laughing nervously as he asked her about any medical issues.

“None. I’ve been pretty healthy my whole life.” She commented as he walked up to the table and pressed against her side.

She trembled slightly, a sharp breath sucked in as her nerves took over. She tilted her head back slightly as he reached for her neck, feeling her glands with a firm motion from his fingers. She tried to steady her heartbeat, keep her nerves under control as he made sounds deep in his chest.

“Alright.” She said softly as he told her what he was doing with a quiet voice, his fingers tracing down her neck and across her jaw with a gentle motion. “I’ve never had a doctor be quite as gentle as you.”
