In the future, the Elves have returned to our world. They have brought with them their kingdoms, settling in places humans haven’t touched, such as deserts, mountains, and even the skies. One such kingdom is Elista, in which humans are welcome, but not often seen. It was a beautiful kingdom, the castle constructed of ivory-colored stone, and roofed in slate, while the city around the castle had remained oldfashioned, except for the technologies used by some of the people. Even the Elves have adapted some technologies to their lifestyle.

Outside the castle, the oldest daughter of the king sits on a tree stump, playing a flute. She was growing bored with the lack of change in their kingdom, and she was never allowed to go past the small forest surrounding the castle. She had never been into the town, and had never seen a human, outside of the politicians that often spoke with her father. But that was about to change.

As she sat there playing her flute, a human swordsman, wearing silver and black armor, wandered out of the forest near her. He took a few staggering steps, and then collapsed. It looked as if he had been fighting for his life, and as she turned to look at him, he collapsed, a sword with a dragon on it falling to the ground out of his hand. The princess turned to look at her, only to see him fall to the ground. She called for one of her bodyguards to help get him into the castle, and had him taken to a room near hers. The whole time, he was out cold.

Sebeen

Sebeen followed her bodyguards up the stairs to the room she had order them to take the human. She had the gift of healing and as she ordered her bodyguards to get warm water to wash the human with she went about her work of healing the man with her touch. His wounds closed quickly as she ran her hands along his body.

She had never felt the hard muscular body of a male, elf or human. As she worked on him she wondered if her Father would be angry with her. She had never given her Father, the King a reason for even al small annoyance as she loved her parents strongly. She was the favored daughter as her sisters told her and taunted her because she was so good and never disobeyed.

Finally the bodyguards came back with the water as she had finished her healing. Color returned to the man's face as she took the basin from her guard and began to wash him.

The Guards found this just a little too much and one spoke to her.

"Princess, there is no need for you to wash him, get one of your ladies to do it for you"

She shook her head and looked at them.

"I see no reason why I cannot bath him, it completes the healing as you well know. Now leave us, I dislike having an audience.

Sebeen continued to wash the man

The young man stirred slightly at the soft, delicate touch. He was still out cold, exhausted as well as having been badly injured. The young man's injuries quickly healed under the hands of the princess, and his fever went down. He started to look normal again, aside from the sleeping. The only indication now that he'd been in a fight were the gashes in his clothing, and the dents in his armor. He shivered slightly as she started to wash him, as it tickled.

One of the guards had been examining the sword, and could have sworn he had seen it somewhere before. As the guard stood there staring at the sword, it suddenly upended itself out of his hand, landing so that it stuck out of the marble floor. At the sharp look from the princess, the guards ducked out of the room, afraid to cause a scandal.

Sebeen was disturbed from her business of washing the man's body by a sudden clash behind her. She turned and gave the guard a glaring look which made him instantly disappear out of the room. She turn back to her task and continued to be gentle with the man dispite the anger she had felt and was still feeling at the oaf who had finally left her alone to complete the work that must be done.

She looked at the man's face in slumber, it was a ruggedly handsome. She wondered where he had fought and why. She rinsed out the cloth and gently washed his face and neck clean and then continued working on his body. He was a large man, muscularly built quite different then the elfin men she knew. He had dark hair unlike anything she had ever seen before. Her people including herself all had golden hair and blue eyes. Her own were rare even to her people as they were crystal blue and could get cold as ice when she was truly angry.

She continued her work of cleaning up the man.

The young man shivered again, then stirred, moaning something about Silver Dragon. He passed out again, having not even opened his eyes, as the princess continued to wash him. He had a soft, almost gentle voice, almost out of place on someone who had been through battle. He laid back down, sleeping peacefully.

Sebeen heard his soft voice and looked to his face but he was still asleep. She was almost done with him and quickly finished. She noticed his head had come off the pillows. She moved to his head and placed her arm behind his neck and came around his shoulder to grasp his upper arm. He was so big that she had to get pretty close to him. His other shoulder pressed heavily into her side. She lifted him forward slightly and fluffed his pillows and then gently laid him down once more.

She took the foldered blanket from under his feet and covered him up to his neck. She looked at him once more then started to clear up the things she had used.

He stirred once more, only to fall into a deep, content slumber. He stayed asleep for several hours, then woke to the smell of food. He took a deep breath, and slowly opened his eyes, wincing at the bright light. He sat up, and then looked around, trying to figure out where he was. As he did so, he spotted the sword, impaled in the marble floor, and then the tray of food that had been brought in while he slept. He tried to get out of the bed, but found he could barely move. That's when he noticed the distinct smell of perfume lingering on him.

Sebeen walked into the room dressed in a blue dress and her crown sitting noblely on her head. It was required attire for dining at her Father's table. She had eaten and quickly made her way to this room to see how the man was doing.

As she gracefully walked to the bed she saw the man looking at her in a strange way.

"I see you are finally awake, would you care for some food now"

The young man blinked, then nodded slowly. He was barely conscious of the question she asked him. He recognized the perfume she was wearing as the same perfume lingering around him. He tried again to get out of bed, but found he couldn't move his legs yet. So he simply spoke. "Yeah, food would be a good idea."

Sebeen smiled as she walked toward him. She was gracefully senual in motion. She again placed her arm behind his neck and grasped his shoulder. She helped him into a sitting position and piled his pillows in such a way that he was supported quite nicely.

She pulled the rolling tray toward the bed and began to cut his meat. That being done she stabbed a piece with the fork and brought it to his lips. He seemed to just be staring at her. She looked confused at him.

"Did you change your mind, do you not wish to eat"

He blinked, then shook his head. "No, it's just...You're an elf. I've never seen one up close and personal before." He looked down, to keep from staring at her. He was a little confused. He truly had never seen an elf before, let alone one so utterly gorgeous.

Sebeen laughed, it was a soft gentle sound.

"We are even human, I have never seen a man before. You are different in many ways then our male elfs. Bigger and broader but yet your features are handsome as our males are"

Sebeen did not posess guile or flirtatous ways as she had been sheltered by her Father to forfill a certain plan. Males would not enter her life until he found the proper mate for her.

He thought carefully, then did his best to bow his head to introduce himself. "My name is Ashton Drake. You've already met Stormbringer, I take it." He nodded to the sword, which pulsed slightly. He tested his arms, and found that he could move them, which was promising. Of course, it seemed it would be a while before he could stand, which wasn't so good. He sighed, then looked at her again. "I can feed myself, you don't have to do so."

She smiled and spoke her name.

"I am Sebeen, oldest daughter of Atticus, King of this relm and I do not mind feeding you but will yield to your will"

She rolled the tray over him so he had free access to feed himself. She pulled the chair close to the bed just in case he needed her assistance.

"It is a strange thing to name a sword, is that your custom in your land?"

She looked at the sword which seemed to vibrate with a will of it's own.

"How do you feel, I have healed you but you may be in need of a more powerful healing. Only you can tell me this"

He ate a bite of the steak, which was perfectly cooked. Moist and flavorful, tender without being rare. His mother would have loved to get her hands on the recipe. He took a sip of the drink that was there before speaking to her again. "The sword was given to me. When it is made, each sword has a name. At least, that's the old ways. By the way, I had a pair of projectile weapons, firearms, made by humans. Where are they?"

When she asked him about his body, he grinned sheepishly. "To be honest, I can't seem to move my legs yet. And Stormbringer says I should be thankful I survived the fight with the Demon at all."

Sebeen thought for a moment and then looked at him. Her crystal blue eyes boring into his.

"I did not see these projectile weapons, whatever they are but I will ask my guard. You came, torn and injured with your sword in you hand to my space, Ashton Drake. I did not remove anything from your person, I healed you and cleaned you the best I could without removing anything.

She had a concerned look on her face as he spoke of his legs.

"With your permission I will heal you again with my white light which should give you back your legs. It is my gift, Ashton Drake, to be able to heal but I am not a white lighter, I just have that one gift. I hope you will allow me to help you, other wise I fear you will remain abed for quite some time. It sounds as if your nerves have been damaged and white light is the only cure"

Ashton had been busy studying the room in between bites of the food. The steak was luscious, and the potatoes and salad weren't bad either. The dressing was a little odd tasting though. That's when he noticed that one of the guards had removed his holsters and set them on a chair. Fortunately, the guns were in them. "I see them. Amazing someone managed to get them off of me without me noticing, even out cold like that. Yes, that would be fine, just let me finish this meal first. My compliments to the chef."

She smiled as he accepted her gift and complimated her food. She knew her cooks were the best in all the kingdoms. Her Father paid well for great service. She watched him eat and marveled at how full of energy he was even with such a serious injury. Humans surely were remarkable.

Ashton quickly finished off the meal, then the drink that had come with it. After a few deep breaths, he looked at her, and nodded. "Whenever you're ready, your highness."

Sebeen smiled and approached the tray and moved it away from him. She walked to the bottom of the bed and placed his legs gentle together. She walked back to the middle of him and placed her hands about four inches above his waist. She closed her eyes and consetrated and suddenly her hands began to glow and a shower of white light appeared flowing over his body. She moved slowly down the length of him. Her eyes open now to make sure she covered every inch of him. She made her way down to his feet and then returned to his waist secure in the knowledge that he was healed. She closed her eyes once more and pulled back her light from him.

She looked at him smiling.

"Now feeling has returned, I felt it as I returned to your waist. Am I not right"

She loved to heal, it was part of her and gave her great joy.

Ashton started to flex his legs, stretching them to make sure everything was working. Then he smiled, and started to get out of the bed, standing slowly. After a few seconds, he felt a little dizzy, so he sat back down on the bed. He'd still need to rest some before he tried to walk, he realized.

Sebeen watched him stand, he towered over her for a short time and then sat again.

"You need rest Ashton Drake but then you will be fine. I will leave you to it as it gets late and I need my rest also. I am two doors down if you need something just knock on my door"

Sebeen took his tray and left. She brought it to the kitchen and then returned to her room. She undressed and placed a robe on the bottom of her bed. Sebeen slept nude as was the custom of her people. No shame was ever placed on the naked body.

Ashton nodded, then laid back down, and slowly fell asleep. As he slept, one of the maids came in to clean up. She saw him, and figured the princess was being her usual self. Still, she thought he was handsome, if a little big. She wondered if the princess would introduce him to her father. Once she was done cleaning, she left, and started asking the castle's master swordsman about the sword, which had almost seemed to be speaking, even though it couldn't be heard.

Sebeen had a light sheet across her body. She slept deeply in the heat of the night. Her ample breast moved up and down with the rythum of her breathing. Tomorrow she knew her Father had something to tell her. She had wondered what it was for a minute but then figured it could be nothing bad as her Father loved her so. As she slept she had no idea what drastic changes would occur if her Father's plans were put into effect.

Ashton woke up in the middle of the night, and shivered slightly. He stretched, then got dressed quickly, avoiding his armor. He decided to explore, against Stormbringer's suggestions. He made his way around the castle, before finding himself in the throne room, as the King spoke.

"So, you're the young man my daughter rescued. I heard all about you from the guards. May I ask what you were fighting?"

He winced at being caught, then sighed. "I was fighting something called Ashram, a demon from another world. I don't remember if I won or lost."
