Name: Tris
Age: 18

In the world of Man the king of the people wanted to be the only powerful being in the world, however the problem was because they shared there world with dragons. The dragons only wanted peace and would never show aggression unless of course there was a problem, that they were attacked first. It was a hard world to live in, but most people were rather happy. But not everyone was happen, sure there were a ton of humans, but one that was considered nothing was one who wanted peace. She had been an outcast since she was old enough to know what she wanted. She always asked questions about dragons, why they wanted them dead, etc. first it was rather innocent because she was asking questions. But as she got older she started to consider the war.

The girl who was on the dragons side, her name was Tris. No one knew her last name, though no one cared enough. She kept to herself but it was hard to keep certain things to herself. But the day she acted was the day she heard a lot of happy people, when Tris went to see what was going on. She noticed a baby dragon, her eyes went wide and that was when he knew her people were monsters. She followed in the shadows where they were taking the baby and when they left she made sure no one was coming then went over to the cage, Tris soon began to very quietly cry. How could her own people be such monsters? Yet they call dragons monsters. She had no idea what its fate would be so she took a knife from her boot, and cut the cage open.

She waited till night fall and she let the dragon out, the little dragon was able to fly and was grateful for it. But when she turned there was a guard and he punched her right in the face. When she woke up she was tied and noticed a noose, she swallowed hard and knew what this meant. But she really didn't care, she was being helped to stand up and she moved to the noose, once it was around her neck she was told to say what she wanted before she died, and boy was that a mistake in its own way. She saw all the people and it made her sick, she didn't care if she was going to die because she knew there was something else out in the world. She had tears in her eyes frustrated. Taking a deep breath she opened up her mouth to say something to them.

"My own kind are monsters, you say dragons are monsters. But if your willing to take a baby dragon and kill him, eat him what ever you had in mind. " She said nothing else, the man ready to hang her.

Name : Leopold

Age: 26 (Actual dragon age 26,000)

Leopold was a shell of a man in all actuality because he was a shap shifting disguise for a gold elder dragon whose real name men couldn't fathom pronouncing but he gained a nickname by the humans as Knight Slayer. If a human was lucky enough to actually hear him speak he tells them that his name is his cover Leopold. The reason his name had become unspeakable by men was the fact that man stopped being friends and allies. When man started hunting and killing dragons it set in motion a further expanding divide between powerful allies. Leopold hatched during one of the first cave raids that the humans used to try to kill the dragons. At a young age he learned that this war wasn't going to be over until the humans had killed every last dragon that walked this earth.

Leopold was walking among the humans once again because of the rumours both in the human cities and in among the dragon clans that a baby red dragon was taken from it's family. Like human children baby dragons are curious creatures and tend to wonder off when parents weren't looking. Unfortunately this time it's little adventure lead to it's capture and possible execution. Leopold had tracked and followed the small cage to it's final destination. While in this city he seen a rare sight an old wanted poster calling for the death of "Knight Slayer" which made him chuckle. He turned just in time to see the cage being moved to the center of the city. The cheering people made him angery because if that was a human child in the cage the city would be burning by now. He could see on woman walk to the cage crying though no one could hear her. He wondered what this woman was going to do because it also looked as if she had a plan of her own.

He stayed back watching this human girl waiting for her to make a move and when night came he finally seen her intent. He was about to go ask her why she would help a dragon but a guard asked in his own way. He joined the crowd that gathered on the execution grounds. He grappled with the notion of leaving the woman to her fate or saving her possibly renewing the hunt for him again. When he heard what she said it finally made his mind up for him. He knew the dangers that he was going to be facing with his choice. He forced his way up through the crowd to the opening just before the hanging platform. He took in a deep breath before shouting "let her go now!" He heard laughing before a guard asked "under who's authority?" Leopold answered "by the orders of the dragon called Knight slayer!" There was a hush over the crowd followed by whispering. All of the king's guards started to roar laughing and one barely got out "he is a myth now disappeared long ago plus where is he." Leopold knew talking wasn't going to work hear so he let his true form try to take over. It was a slow process but the changes were instant because his skin turned to his scaled hide. The king was lucky he had his execution grounds outside of the city because this ordeal could get messy. once in his true form no one was left but the bravest or stupidest of the guards.

Tris didn't care what would happen to her, she didn't want to be a part of a species that would kill innocent creatures, it hurt her to know just how low humanity had become. It almost made her sick seeing everything, wanting her dead for being the way she was. She was no monster, not the monster they saw. Tris was as human as everyone there. It was hard to fathom what would happen to her, she was a little scared but she didn't show it. Right now she took a deep breath and closed her eyes, she felt the nose on her throat and knew this was it. She was going to meet her maker, she actually had a innocent smile on her face. She was calm and content, no one could see her fear. She would not give them the satisfaction of seeing her scared even a hint of it. But it was then she heard a voice, when she did she opened up her eyes and noticed a man there.

She had no idea what was going on or who the man was, her heart was racing hearing everything that was said, she had heard his name before. The Knight Slayer was not to be fucked with. She was hearing what the people were saying, and how everything was going she felt deep down that he was old when it came down to it she wondered if he was the dragon. She had been told stories before her mother died, that the leader could take human form. But Tris wondered if he was who he said he was. Then why would he risk everything for a girl he didn't know, even if he witnessed how she released the baby dragon. She wasn't worth dying for or being hurt for. Her heart was racing and in that moment before he turned everything died down except the sound of her beating heart. What the hell was going on now? a question she didn't have the answer to.

Soon everyone vanished except the two guards, brave till the end but foolish none the less. When she saw the beauty of such a creature, she felt that she did not deserve to witness his greatness. She had no idea what would happen but Tris wiggled trying to get out of the noose, she was afraid so afraid of what would happen if she died. She managed to free her hands, she was picking at it being patient and she grabbed the the rope that was inches from the loop and used all her strength to clime it. One she was high enough she managed to get her head out and she let go landing free. She looked at a guard ready to attack, so she ran to him, she went behind the man and with all her strength broke the mans neck. All her strength used up as she collapsed to her knees, looking up at the dragon.

Leopold seen the woman escape the hang man's noose by herself which surprised him because he thought she would be paralyzed by fear of seeing such a sight. He could see that the guards were ready to attack and before he could do anything the woman had killed one of the guards then fainted. He soon felt a spear try to break through his golden scales and he grabbed the unconscious woman and in a single breath he lit the ground in front of the platform on fire. He flapped his winds once and took off into the air and while he climbed higher into the air he seen arrows fly by his head.

On the way back to area his clan inhabits he though long and hard about what would have to be done with the woman. He knew it would be hard for him to convince the others to let her stay with them but not impossible seeing how she saved a baby dragon. Once in the cave he snuck into his part of the cave laying the woman down on the large pile of hay he used as bedding. He curled his body around the woman protecting her from the view of others until he had time to question her about the events that almost killed her. He knew that for her to live a life without constantly being close to death her only option my be to live with the king's enemy.

Leopold could feel the woman stir and snuggle up to him. He could wait to see the look on her face once she woke up next to a dragon. Leopold would have laughed but he didn't want to startle the sleeping dragon saver.

She had no idea why in the hell she fainted but perhaps it was the excitement of the events that took place, she was far from surprised to see him turn into the dragon. She sensed something inside him, she had no idea what she was feeling. But call it a hunch or perhaps it was something else? she didn't know and frankly it mattered not. She had no idea what was going on since she was out cold, she had dreams of people killing a baby dragon slowly and it made her sick, made her sit up in her dream her eyes wide from the surprise and fear of the dream and beads of sweat. She was shivering and she didn't realize anything that was going on, her heart pounding and her breathing very loud. But once she was able to get her head on straight she sighed a bit, and noticed a dragons tail. "What the..." She whispered to herself and wondered what happened.

She knew she was in a cave because she noticed what the ground, walls and roof was made out of. She had no idea what was going on but she didn't want to wake anyone up so all she did was just wait for the dragon to wake up, she hummed lowly a tune to help herself concentrate on what was going on, to help her mind from being terrified. She was different the only being in the world that made her sick was her own people. They were cruel beasts and she hated being one of them, but all she could do was just deal with what ever situation had come to her, he was however very beautiful and it made her smile. She ran her fingers over the golden scales and was in awe of his beauty. Tris couldn't help but become rather interested, and there was one word to show what she thought of him.

"Beautiful"

Leopold could feel the woman touch his scales and he could hear whispers of the other dragons speaking in the primary language of the dragon which to humans only sounded like varied pitchs of snarls. They were talking about the woman who saved the baby dragon from being killed. They didn't know who it was and from the talking the identity wasn't told at all meaning the baby didn't cath or remember any details which could be under stood given the situation but little did they know she was here in the cave with them. He let her probe and rub his body forr a bit before he snuck his head around behind her. He grinned a bit knowing that he was going to startle her if he spoke but nothing said that the elder dragon had to act mature all the time and if she stayed with dragons she would have to get used to stuf like this because the baby dragons loved playing joke on anyone including Leopold ,they buried his head in the hay at one point completely covering it while he slept.

He parted his mouth enough to let his voice come out and without moving his mouth closing his eyes he said in human speak "we I see someone is awake I thought you had nearly left the land of the living." He barely held back the grin that threatened to crack his face. The look the woman had on her face was great but he wanted to have a little fun with her. Though he knew she was already scared but it seemed to fade so this joke wasn't going to be that bad. He wondered if the woman was going to try to figure out where the voice was coming from or pause in fear.

She heard the snarls and growls but really wasn't to worried about it, she wished she understood what they were saying, kinda drove her nuts she had no idea what they were talking about. It was then she saw some of the baby dragons and her heart seemed to melt for them, they were really sweet. She was glad that she had saved the baby the asshole's were trying to kill, she stopped petting him and stood up. Placing her hands on her hips. Staying quiet and staying hidden in the shadows as she watched them play with one another. She even spotted the one that she had saved that night and was glad the baby found his way home. Still angry from what happened the other day, her heart felt warm when she noticed the little one playing. There was only one thing she could think of to express her thanks that the little one had made it back home was simple.

"Thank God" She said grateful the baby was okay.

She wasn't even thinking about the dragon that was curled around her, she had no idea that he was awake and didn't pay attention. But it was then she heard a voice in her head, or perhaps it was spoken normally she didn't know. She heard the voice and closed her eyes thinking, she felt it was the same voice that came out of the man who became the golden dragon. She opened up her eyes and smiled a little bit, she was grateful he helped her and did not eat her. She was just happy in general and felt the voice belonged to the same dragon, so she grew calm and content. Her own smirk on her sweet angelic face. Tris felt she wasn't in danger, at least from the golden dragon. She had no idea what to say to the Dragon there were many things she wanted to know, but asked nothing at least not right now. Her grey eyes scanned the cave.

"It's an honor my lord" She bowed her head showing her respect to him. Which would probably shock that a human would show honor and respect for a dragon especially a human.

Leopold gave up his sleeping act and opened his eyes and said "please don't bow to me there is no need of it." He continued to stay curled around the woman trying to keep her from view as best as he could because the little ones were getting curious like they always do when ever he comes back wondering if he brought them back some food like he usually does. "Be careful for now because the little one will eventually come over here to see if I have brought any food back for them. If you hear them get close try to hide because they may tell the others you are here." He knew what he had to ask her but for now he just wanted to make sure she was alright.

"You know now that you saved a dragon you can't go back to any human city because the king's men will be looking for you?" He said as he wondered if she actually got the magnitude of her situation now. " I would like it if you would stay here with us seeing how you are going to be hunted like us." He said though he knew he had to get the rest of the clan to agree to this. It was going to be hard to do but not impossible. He soon hear the little ones talk wondering if Leopold had brought in some food that they could take. He always acted like he brought it for himself but deep down he knows that they know he got them food and just played a game with them.

Tris listened to everything he told her, she already knew this and didn't want to come back. Her own species were the monsters not the dragons, they were peaceful beasts if you just let them be. She looked into his eyes and they were very pretty, she gave him a gentle and very peaceful look. She crossed her arms and nodded to him, she heard the whispers and she felt like he wanted to ask her something but wouldn't for know. She would answer any question but right now she figured she should hide, a lot of things went through his head and she had no idea what it would be. Shaking her head she just sighed and couldn't help but just relax and feel her surroundings ad she felt happy to be away from humans. Right now she decided to tell him something that may shock him.

"I know and good I can't stand my own species, they say dragons are monsters but you live and let live. I have always been a freak, an outcast since I was four or so, it was hard growing up never having a friend, how people tried to brain wash me but I wouldn't put up with it, pretty much told them to go to hell. And I will do as you say, I can vanish you know if you need to feed the young?" She was willing to do what ever she had to, and wondered if the others would accept her. She didn't want to be an outcast when it came to the dragons, she needed friends or family. She wanted to just have a life, as normal as possible. She made sure to stay low so no one would be able to see her, though she was afraid they may have been able to smell her, though she was clean.

Leopold chuckled a bit before saying "you don't have to hide I don't feed them I usually just bring back some treats for them. It's a tradition that has been done from elder dragon to elder dragon here. Just so you know if you stay you won't be accepted at first because,of what other humans have done to us but seeing how you have saved one of us it shouldn't take long for the older dragons to get used to the idea of you living among us and it would be even quicker for the little ones. I have to talk to the others before we can proceed any further with plans like this."

A little time passed and the others dragons gathered around Leopold wondering if he had heard the knew of what happened in the city. He answered them in their native tongue confirming the rumour and then he showed the woman. A hush fell over the crowed then the baby dragon that she saved hurried to the woman and started to nuzzle against her. "Speak to them now and tell them why you saved this little one which has taken to yo." He said standing u. "Don't worry they can understand you and will not attack you in any way." He wondered if she spoke to them if it would quicken their trust of her hearing the reason she saved what the other humans would rather kill.

He could see the other little ones wanted to explore the rather unknown figure. He could also see that the parents of the baby dragon that was nuzzling the woman wasn't fearful of the woman seeing how she saved the baby. The only real worry would be some of the older dragons closer to Leopold's age protesting having a human in their clan but after awhile the uneasyness would fade.

Tris had been raised by a loving mother and that was where her love came from, but listing to the growling and grumbling she felt safe since she was under the protection of the elder dragon but the funny thing was she smiled seeing the baby from before nuzzling up to her, she could tell who the mother was so she reached to pet the dragon but before she did she locked eyes on the mother and she nodded to her that it was okay, that was then she began to pet the baby and showed a nature in humans that hadn't been seen in generations, it was then she was taken from her happy silent moment and heard what he told her to do. She remembered hearing a story her mother told her, before humans were taking out dragons they use to live in harmony with them, humans found a way to honor them with a slight gesture. When it was her time to speak to them. She looked at how many there were, it was amazing so many still lived, which made Tris very happy. She had no idea where to even begin, But she did know she would have to be open and very honest with them.

So the first thing was to remember to honor those greater then her, so she took a knee and bowed her head. She stayed that way for a few moments then stood up, and very humbly spoke to them. "Great one's my name is Tris I stand humbly before you, something that im sure some of you have never seen, and some have forgotten it for those who have lived before humans were born. Humans once saw your kind as great warriors and protectors, we once called you brother and sister, but sadly those times have died along with the old ways. My mother taught me compassion, honesty. Taught me an understanding that made me a freak amoung my own kind. What I am about to tell you is not to gain your petty or even your trust, but an understanding perhaps. " She looked down at the baby a moment and smiled so honored to be here and to be seeing this little one again. She looked back up at the many dragons and silently sighed a little.

:My mother honored the old ways where we were sharing our world peacefully with yours, and she taught me everything about what had been, in hopes that maybe one day it may happen again. When the others found out my mother was forced from me and they forced me to watch the many men beat her to death, they tried for many years to try and change my views on your species but I refused to do it. I was shunned for it, I had no friends and my mother being the only family I had dead. I was about six when she died. Everyone ignored me and did up till me saving the little one. My kind have called your kin monsters, beasts that don't know anything but death, sadly it was the king and his great great great grandfather the line for many kings have been nasty.' He was selfish and with every new king I prayed that they would live like we use to but no. Selfishness and ignorance has pleagued the throne far to long. " She wiped away a tear when she thought of her mother, sadness heard in her words.

"I saved the child because like all of you, the only thing I saw looking into the little ones eyes, was innocence, a being that hasn't been alive long enough to have bad thoughts about humans. My people have become monsters and it's been that way for so long, those who side with the king should all die. Man kind is far to mean, cruel and stupid to even share this world with you. I saw a lot of myself in this little one's eyes, I wouldn't slay this innocent heart even if it meant my own life to be forfit. I would have died happily knowing I was able to save at least one dragon. I don't expect anyone to trust me, but would like the chance to prove myself, what I did for the little one I hope was a stepping stone, to show that there maybe more people like me out there. One who puts others before my own well being, and I would do it again in a heart beat"

Leopold was glad that Tris wasn't trying to win the others over with her word but just telling them how it was. During her speach the rest of the little ones flew and landed on Leopold trying to get as close as they could to the woman. It looked like the children had taken to the woman already though they hesitated to get close due to their mothers. He feel them fidgit around on his back wanting to join their friend in getting the same attention as he was. The little ones couldn't stand it anymore and they jumped down joining in with their friend. Leopold wanted to stop them but he could see the fact that the children trusted her started to sway some of the older dragons. He knew that she was going to stay with them because with every word she spoke he could feel himself fall for her.

"Continue if you have more to say to the." He said as he started to watch the children as some of them started to play fight and he knew eventually it was going to lead to a real fight. Once they started to get a little too rough of his tastes he pulled them off of each other not wanting them to accidentally hurting themselves or Tris. He wondered if she was going to spend time playing with the children though he would have to warn her about how rough they could get. He could see that the tension in the room had lighten a bit which ment she wouldn't be treated as an out cast while she stayed. He hoped that she had a great sense of humour. seeing how the little ones like to play jokes and try some sneak attacks when they play.

She smiled at the little one's she had a soft spot for any kind of child, since she always wanted a child of her own, it kinda made her sad which was why some would say her smile was one of sadness, she backed away a bit when the little one's starting to play, all children loved to play and sometimes rough, which was why she was glad he broke it up.' What else could she say? perhaps proof that she did follow the old ways? She remembered a long time ago her mother singing a lullby that was very old, she looked down for a moment, trying to recall the melody and when she started to hum a soft song, loud enough for everyone to hear and because they were in a cave the cave was going to echo so all could hear her. She vocalized as her mother would when she was a child, and her singing her voice made her sound angelic she had never sung in front of people, she was to be seen but never heard but here perhaps that would all change, she hoped so as she began to sing.

Hahren na melana sahlin ( Elder your time is come)
Emma ir abelas ( Now I am filled with sorrow)
Souver'inan isala hamin ( Weary eyes need resting)
Vhenan him dor'felas ( Heart has become grey and slow)
In uthenera na revas ( In waking sleep of freedom)

Vir sulahn'nehn ( We sing, rejoice)
Vir dirthera ( We tell the tales)
Vir samahl la numin ( We laugh and cry)
Vir lath sa'vunin ( We love one more day)

She felt her mother in that cave with her as she sang, and saw the little ones quite down and listen to her like little puppy dogs. The song she sang in it's self was easy to see she had a very bad childhood and womanhood, she was free to express herself without fearing death, without fearing someone accidently hearing her. The words were older hundreds of years old, the languge of a dead time. Long ago her mother told her that it was a song
no human ever made, the elder dragon of that time tried teaching man to put words to the re growling and roaring, how they spoke. Hearing herself sing she could hear the dragon in it, she had never noticed it but perhaps it was because it was in a cave, she didn't really know very well. But as she sang she took off the shrawl that she had around her arms and in the light of the small fire that gave them light it was easy to see the scars she had on her neck, top of her chest and her arms, from the countless beatings.

It was a lesson that even humans can be monsters to there own flesh and blood, they did not understand mercy that was a word that lost much strength hundreds of years ago. She had closed her eyes as she sang the last of it, a tear falling down her cheek and into the fire, making the fire explode almost it grew more in color and size for a moment then settle down, her tale was a sad one though again she wanted no pity she had learned long ago to have a hard heart and to be careful who you trust, but right in that moment as she stopped singing she opened her eyes and looked into the fire. She felt at peace and happy as her sad smile grew happy. Showed before the older ones her way of saying that was the end of her story, if they had questions she of course would answer them because she had a feeling many would be asked one way or another.

Leopold could feel how sad her upbringing was and the scares on her body proved this. When she stopped singing the children went back to playing and two of the baby dragons tried to push the Tris over with them so that she could play with them. The older dragons quietly went back to what they were doing. They didn't need to ask any questions because the song reinforced the fact she didn't want to hurt them. He looked down and in his native tongue Leopold told the little ones not to be rough on Tris that she wasn't like them she was way more fragile than they were. He knew that before long the men needed to go out hunting for their dinner. He wondered if Tris would help try to keep an eye on the little ones so that they wouldn't sneak out of the cave. He knew that Tris may want more than just meat which meant to him he would have to either get her some other food like vegetables and fruits. The cave was full of life the little ones playing trying to get Tris to play with them the older dragons. protecting unhatched eggs or just spending some time together while their children is distracted.

Once it got dark enough that they could hunt without being seen Leopold found Tris and asked "do you mind staying behind with the rest of the women? We could use an extra person to watch them so that they won't sneak out of the cave." He hoped that she wouldn't be offended by whst he asked but it wasn't like the men were just bringing back pieces of what they caught but whole animals. Leopold didn't know if Tris had any hunting skills at all let alone the ability to see in the dark well. He could see the men gathering at the cave entrance waiting for the elder dragon.

Tris smiled seeing what the little ones were up to and then she saw him coming up to her, she heard his request and she just smiled "That's fine" She reached up and stroked under his chin and smiled at him "You really did save my life, I am honored to be accepted, maybe even have a few friends" She said softly. Reaching up she kissed his nose and saw the little ones around her feet and couldn't help but just smile, she motioned it was okay to him and she watched the little ones play for a while, making sure they did not sneak out, that was something they didn't need to do. She worried about what is going to happen, when it came down to it life was strange. But she loved so much the situation she was in now. She figured one day the little ones may ask her questions, but she didn't mind that at all. Something about Tris, as a person she loved answering questions.

She was open like a book and did not worry about a thing, but in the world she lived she knew damn well that wouldn't work. So now she was happy to be in a situation that was so much different then her world. She just hoped that they could find a place where no one could go, she worried about the dragons and always had. Any time the humans could go out there and try to hurt them, it sucked and she was powerless to do anything. She started to play with the little ones best she could, she had to explain to them she wasn't built like them. They seem to understand and by the time that the men got back, which was a very long time the littlest baby was on her back, they all laughing and having a good time.

Leopold go back in time to see that little ones were about to pile onto Tris. He stood there and looked down seeing her enjoyment playing with them. He finally made his presence known to the little group so that they wouldn't dog pile on her like they loved to do to him. He let the littlest dragon stay on her back and shoulders because she didn't look like she was in any discomfort. The little ones started to gather around his feet and they started to snarl wanting a treat . He told them that they had to go eat some of what their parents brought them before they get anything if he got them something. Once the children left to go to their parents Leopold brought out a nice sized stag and said "here is your food tell me what parts you want to eat and I will cut it off for you. I will also help you cook it as well but if you don't eat it all I will let you either give it to the little ones or you could hide it playing the same game I play with them."

When she pointed to the areas she wanted he took his sharp claw and cut them off for her and he removed the skin of animal parts. He pushed some of the straw over some old dead wood that was in the cave and with a small breath he lite it on fire. He transformed himself back into his human form not paying attention to the fact he was completely naked. He wanted to spend time with Tris in a form that wouldn't crush her. "I know that meat isn't the only thing you eat but just below this cave there is an abandoned orchard that still has trees that bare apples so we could go pick some for you to have to eat."

She had a lot of fun that night and when he came back and she pointed what she wanted, she cooked the meat up with his help and heard about the apples, her eyes light up and nodded "Sounds really nice may have to do that tomorrow in the morning is the best time to do it" She said happily. She began to wonder when he took human form, she figured perhaps it was because he was around other humans. Not that it bothered her. He was already starting to mean a lot to her, but it was because he looked deep within his heart and spared her, which is something that meant the world to her. She looked seeing the little ones eating and it made her smile and sighed a little bit. It was nice she already bonded with the littlest and perhaps some of the other children but it made her want.

"I always see people that have children, same with dragons having children. I always wanted to have a child, I never had much of a childhood which is why if I ever had a child I would never let them know pain." She looked in the fire and a tear fell down her face, she always wanted to feel the touch of a man that meant love and acceptance something she had never had. "I am so tired of being alone, to have someone love me for who I am, for what I believe to accept but I dunno. Just tired of knowing nothing but fear and pain" She found herself very lost in what she was thinking at that moment. She always tried to think of what it would be like, but her imagination for that? was really bad. She did know she wouldn't know any more pain, she had a fighting spirit that much was for sure. She smiled up at Leo and tilted her head to the side thinking.

Leopold could see her pain and though she didn't know it he felt love for her. He wiped away the tears that was trailing down her cheek. He didn't know if he could give Tris a child but there was legend that said the elder dragons of the past have had children with both man and dragons. The legend also states that the birth of the child would painful but he could tell that she would be able to take it seeing how it would probably wouldn't be as bad as her life up until now. He couldn't help but to caress her cheek and smile trying to make her happy again. He soon felt the little ones come back and crowd around them. He started to pet the ones that were trying to crowd themselves under his arms. He could tell they wanted the rest of Tris's food and he said "you guys will have to talk to her it isn't mine to give."

Leopold didn't know how Tris felt about him and he didn't want to try anything with her just yet because of what had happened today. He was glad that she was going to stay with them for the time being though.

She was surprised to see a human hand wiped the tear away, she didn't like feeling weak but she felt safe here. Looking at him and feeling him stroke her neck, she closed her eyes enjoying the feel of his hand, and it was then she heard the rush of children. Hearing what he said and seeing how happy they seemed, tails wagging. She took one more bite and was more then full, so she took what was left and made equal sized pieces and gave each baby one piece she hoped it was fair for them, she wouldn't help but enjoy this moment, she sighed a little bit and was content.

"Thank you for your kindness, why where you there today? I am greatful don't get me wrong but I am curious. Where you looking for the baby?"

"Yes I was looking for the baby." Leopold said as the children started to crowd around them. He knew before long that the children would end up on top of them trying to get at the food so he motioned to Tris to get up and move to a new spot before they ended up at the bottom of a pile of small dragons. He gets up and holds his hand out to help her up so that she wouldn't get hurt while sitting there.

"The only real question I have is that if I told that the short time I have been with that I have fallen for you what would you say?" He asked Tris as they moved to a new area where the children wasn't crowding around trying to eat. He hoped that he hadn't just said something to Tris that was going to scare her away. He knew that she would rather be strong but even the strongest could be scared by feelings.

She chuckled watching the rest of the children just eat and do what baby dragons did, and while they went to a new spot she heard what he said about what if, she sat down thinking about it. No bad reaction came to her but she did have confusion about it however that much was seen on her face, 'Ive never been told that by a man so It's fine though I don't see how you could fall in love with a human" She said softly and shook her head unsure about how he could love her so soon, she liked the idea but never thought a dragon would love a mortal. Her look of confusion turned to a very big smile, easy to see that she was liking the idea the more she thought about it.

Leopold gently caressed Tris's cheek and pulled her towards him before he planted a soft kiss on her lips. He couldn't hold himself back anymore though he was a dragon he still had urges. He didn't know how she would react to the kiss but he hoped that she didn't mind it too much. As soon as he broke the kiss like most children the little dragons piled around them when things may have been heating up. The smallest dragon regained it's spot on Tris's shoulders trying to keep himelf seen so he could be petted.Leopold was glad that the children had interrupted like they did because if she was uncomfortable she could take her mind off of the kiss. Leopold began to wonder if tonight was going to be one of those nights were he slept covered by the little ones.

Tris felt his hand on her cheek and watched him and it was then that the kiss had been planted and her eyes closed returning the kiss allowing instinct to drive her in that moment and when he pulled away the babies came and she smiled a little bit blushing, when she saw the tiny dragon she smiled running her finger under the chin down to his through seeing how the little one. She smiled and nodded at Leo showing she approved of the kiss

The smile from Tris was reassuring to him that he hadn't made her uncomfortable at all. "If you sleep beside of me I hope you don't mind that you may have some company tonight because the little ones my end up over here tonight." Leopold said as the children were still swarming them trying to get equal attention from both of them. He didn't know if he was going to stay in human form tonight or go back to his natural form. He figured that Tris didn't mind either way but she was probably longing for another human to be around though he wasn't human but could take human form.
