The ebb and flow of inspiration

I sit here in the quiet, letting soft music fill my head with ideas and wisps of dreams, but none of it solid enough to build on. I am both inspired and not. I want to work, but cannot pin down enough of an idea to work on it; to tame it and shape it... I think this means I am ready for sleep....
