It's 2013, and China's the only country to have survived an economic meltdown. The Chinese own Starbucks, which now serves longan dragon well lattes. So why can't anybody remember an entire month? That's the premise of a new dystopian novel.

Anybody else write dystopian?

I found the "The Gilded Age: China 2013", premise a bit "stretched", but it seems to be more a Social Statement, than a story.

Chan Koon-Chung's got some cojones letting his novel see the light of day...in China anyhow. The Communist government's policy of allowing the country to become increasingly Capitalist and still maintain control is beginning to unravel and sooner or later something will have to be done.

Maybe Chan's novel is less dystopian and more of a warning. ;)
