I only need one other female writer for this thread. It's vaguely anime-flavoured in general concept:

Jon and Nina have been best friends since childhood. Both are quite geeky; Jon is a computer geek and Nina generally bookish. They are currently attending the same college.

For the last few years, Nina has been very much in love with Jon but she's too shy to tell him so and Jon, unsuccessfully chasing a succession of popular girls, is oblivious. In her darker moments she suspects (correctly) that he sees her as a sister.

However, hope is not lost for her. She has a strange ability; she is the Dreamer. Her vivid, strange dreams of fantasy lands seem much more real than others', and it's possible they do reflect some strange reality. In them she is powerful, confident and at ease... and lately she's discovered that she can bring other sleepers into her dreams. By bringing Jon into erotic, romantic fantasies involving her each night she hopes to make him more aware of in the real world; or at least gain some sort of satisfaction from him.

Jon is average height, with long, tangled dark hair and blue eyes. He's generally relaxed and has a sense of humour, although he will occasionally worry obsessively over things like exams and girls. He's devoted to Nina but only in the way of friendship.

Nina is small and petite, with red hair and green eyes. She's shy and quiet, although she tends to slough off those traits in her dreams. She's pale, but pretty, and with a ravishing smile when she's happy.

Any one interested?

I would be interested. Is there anything special I should know? Any specific typecast character?

Just let me know if I can take her. Thanks....

Not other than the description already given, also no bondage or S/M (wouldn't fit the character... besides, I'm not into it ;)). Go ahead :)

Nina

Nina had a long day.

She hadn't mastered her math exams as she had hoped only making a C. That would drop her grade point a little and she was a bit depressed by the time she got home.

She walked over to her answering machine. A zero blinked into the dark room showing a lonely number she hated. A zero. Nothing, just like her social life seemed to be.

That also meant that John had not called. He didn't need her, or want to talk to her tonight. It seemed the farther she tried to show him her love, the more he pushed away. Trying to gain the beautiful girl each one different from the day before.

She stripped her clothes off feeling the coolness of the air hit her nipples, sending them pointing. It was as if they were a beacon, shining brightly for something, someone, to see and come running to.

Laying on the bed, she put her head to the pillow and wandered away into her world. The world she controled. The world that loved her.

The forrest was alive with the sounds of animals. Though the sky was dark, wind blew in the trees carrying sounds of owls, wolves, bats, all types of nocturnal activities.

She walked, slowly at first, adjusting herself to the dream. A wonderful smile crossed her lips as she realized that she was in the forrest of desires. She would play a game of chase tonight, letting John know of her intentions, before snaring him in her kingdom. Sortly she called, "Jooohnnnnn..." She moved seductivly through the trees....."John, come to me.... I need you..." Her whispers floating through the air like an eagle gliding on the winds of Mount Rushmore.

'Hey!', said John brightly

Marie looked up, gave a weary sigh which battered what was left of John's ego. 'Is there something you want?'

'No...', said John, frantically studying the club's floor. 'Or well, actually, yes. I was wondering if you, you know, wanted to, you know, dance?'

'Were you?', asked Marie, mercilessly. 'Well, I don't want to, you know, dance. And if you're still here when my boyfriend gets back with our drinks he will, you know, beat the living crap out of you'

She gave him a crisp smile. 'Fine', muttered John. 'Gone already'. It wasn't up there in the Big Book of Snappy Retorts.

He sighed dolefully as he left the club. He had been working up his nerve to ask Marie to dance for weeks. He had even asked Nina if he could practise with her, but she'd seemed so flustered and upset at the very thought that he'd dropped it.

Nina. John wondered if he should call her. But it was late now, and his best friend was probably asleep. Like I should be.

He let himself into his apartment and collapsed straight on to the bed.

The nighttime forest seemed strangely real. John could feel every breeze on his face, chilling yet refreshing. Everything was clear, crisp and cool. John walked a time, when suddenly he heard a voice, strangely familiar, calling his name.

'John... Johhhhhn'. John felt an urgent need to seek out the voice and he walked towards it quickly, breaking into a run as it seemed to come closer

Nina

She heard his footsteps frantically coming her way. "Johhhn," she called again, taunting him, teasing him. She couldn't help but let a giggle escape her lips. The laughter resounded through the forrest as if it were the trees themselves laughing at his inept ability to find her.

"johnnnnn, come to me my love." She called, again running away from the footfalls that chased her. This dream all he would do is chase, never catching her, for that would be a prize left to later acheive.

"John, catch up........I want you." Her voice was so desperately seductive, tearing herself away from the normal shy woman she was. She loved her confindence in her dream world. She loved the way the trees moved to make way for her tiny body to escape. She imagined herself riding naked on a horse, and soon her image was reality. Her thighs were clutching the stallion beneath her. Her delicate feet held onto the horse's stomach. She loved riding naked, Feeling the fine horse hairs on her body, her clit, and her breast as she lay herself attop him.

"Let him see me." She thought to herself, allowing John one fleeting glimpse of her riding as she was before forcing him to awake and leaving her dream world.

As he left, she laughed, her laugh filling the forrest around her with a happiness that only it could know.

Nina rode the horse through the trees naked, flame-red hair blowing carelessly in the wind. Her pale nude body seemed to glow. John gasped at the sheer erotic beauty of the scene. Her laughter floated back to him, spurring him on into a blind run, desperate to...

And he woke up, drenched in sweat. John took some time to recover, taking deep, calming breaths of air. Hot dreams about Nina? It was totally bizzare. He'd never think of Nina that way awake. She was reliable best-friend Nina, who did his homework for him when he'd spent all night on the computer. The very thought made him feel vaguely uncomfortable.

He got up, showered, dressed and brushed his teeth in a haze. His first class was Math. He sat down at the back of the lecture hall, as ever, saving a place for Nina. He cocked a head consideringly as she entered. Yes... he'd never really taken it in before, but Nina was kind of hot.

The thought felt very strange. C'mon. It's only Nina. He smiled to cover his confusion and patted the seat beside him, a reduntant gesture considering they'd been sitting together since the first day of high-school.

'Hey. It's good you arrived when you did; I think we're in for some really exciting math today. Rumour has it we'll be exploring the alien worlds of advanced calculus'

Nina

Nina smiled as she woke that morning. Her mind wandered on what John would say, if anything, about the world he visited through the night.

It didn't take her long to ready for classes. She put her hair back, pulled into a pony tail. It was her look. She had made it famous on her since she was in Jr. High and the boys started noticing the pretty girls who wore short skirts and wild hair.

Her red shirt was nothing to be proud of. Not too tight, not too short, not too loose. Just Nina. Her pants were the black capris she loved to wear showing how her ass was tight, but not making it really noticable.

She walked into class, her normal shy, slow self. John smiled as he saw her and patted her seat, a routine that didn't need to be done, only through habit.

"Hi." She said.

'Hey. It's good you arrived when you did; I think we're in for some really exciting math today. Rumour has it we'll be exploring the alien worlds of advanced calculus' He told her.

"Oh, I can't believe we are already exploring the world of Calculus. Did we bypass Trig world somewhere?" She smiled, hoping he didn't think she was stupid for playing off his joke.

"So, I trust by the grin on your face you slept well. Either that or you were with some girl." Her face dropped the smile to note that she wasn't happy with the thought that he was with another woman. She wanted him all to herself.

'Not so. I was very brave and asked Marie to dance. I think 'pitying disgust' describes best her reaction. My plans for an evening of music and passion abruptly cancelled, I settled for an evening of sleep'

'If you wouldn't mind, Mr Hansen?', came an icy voice.

John looked up, and grinned, unabashed, at the instructor glaring down at him. 'Not at all', he said generously

He continued, his voice lowered. 'What about you, Nina? Have you gotten any attachments? I must warn you that I will mock and criticize them, in the time-honoured tradition of old friends everywhere'

John grinned at her. It was always so easy to talk to Nina, to let the words just flow out, instead of stammering non-sequiturs like he did around Marie and other girls. He felt relaxed and comfortable. Except that, since his dream the night before, he couldn't seemed to stop looking at her in a different way. Noticing her lips. Noticing what she was wearing. Remembering what she had looked like in his dream when she wasn't wearing anything.

Still, it was only Nina.

Nina

Nina smiled bashfully. A beautiful blush crossed her cheeks as she looked away, not able to meet John's intense gaze.

"No. I....uh, I could never ask anyone out. The guys that ask me out are only looking for a notch. School keeps me busy, that and taking care of Giz." Gizzel was the name of her cat. She had found her outside a grocery store a year ago, and since then she had been a good companion when John was off "hunting."

She took her pen and started doodling in her notebook. Hearts and flowers populated the page frantically. It was a habit she had since elementary when she got nervous.

"Mary doesn't deserve you anyway." She thought out loud. She didn't even realize that her words had escaped her mind until she heard John ask what it was she had said.

"Are, uh....we going for pizza tonight? Or do you have other plans that don't involve me." She smiled, trying to cover her slip.

John hadn't quite caught what Nina said. Instead of pressing her about it, he smiled.

'Sure, pizza sounds good'

He'd heard that cheese brought strange dreams. John wasn't sure he believed that, but then again his dreams these days couldn't get very much stranger.

'Maybe we'll meet a beautiful girl, for me, and a beautiful boy, for you'. He grinned. 'Maybe we'll meet a beautiful couple and mercilessly break them apart'

The class was over. He stood, putting his notes away. 'I sure hope you caught a word of that, because I didn't', he added, nodding towards the lectern. 'Damn. I thought I had the trick of paying attention to you and noting the boring maths stuff in a corner of my brain down'

He was normally good at maths, one of the few things he tried much at. Thoughts... and dreams? had distracted him.

'Maybe we'll meet a beautiful girl, for me, and a beautiful boy, for you'. He grinned. 'Maybe we'll meet a beautiful couple and mercilessly break them apart'

She had caught that and didn't like it so she frowned. "Not all beautiful people need to be broke apart." They had done that to a couple once and she always regretted that. He didn't need to break a couple apart to get a woman. Any single woman would love to be with him. "I would." She thought.

'I sure hope you caught a word of that, because I didn't', he added, nodding towards the lectern. 'Damn. I thought I had the trick of paying attention to you and noting the boring maths stuff in a corner of my brain down'

"Not really. Had a preoccupation on my mind. We can always as Laurie for the answers. Or Suzette."

She started walking the way to the library. She had promised herself to look up some dream worlds to use in later dreams. Something Shakespearian perhaps, or tropical.

"Where are you headed next?"

'English', said John. 'I'll meet you outside the study hall at six, then, okay?'

He watched her walk away down the passage, then realised with a start he was watching her ass. This was getting strange. He knew how shy Nina was; she'd probably be horribly embarassed if she thought her friend had been looking at her that way.

He sat through the English lecture in a haze.

Nina

(I just realized I have friend's that are married named John and Nina)

Nina spent the rest of her day going from class to class. The menotonous drone of lectures resounded in her ears. It seemed as if everyone was getting ready for the Spring social and the teachers were putting it in their courses.

"Some of us are dateless." She thought to herself.

Promptly at six oclock she was at the doorway waiting on John. She wondered how many girls he would google at their entire conversation.

(OOC: that's weird... )

'Hey'

John, walking down the corridor to meet Nina, turned midstep, and froze. It looked like Marie. The voice had sounded like her. But she was smiling. At him.

'Hi, John'

'Uhh... huh... hi', John managed at last. He smiled somewhat nervously.

She approached him. 'Listen, I'm sorry I snapped at you last night. I wasn't feeling well; that damn music always makes my head ache. I was wondering... are you free this evening?'

John hesitated. 'Well, I was sorta... yes, yes I am, really', he finished lamely, feeling oddly treacherous. But Nina would understand.

Marie smiled. 'Because my retarded computer is acting up and I know you're good at all that stuff...'

'Oh', said John. It was because a computer geek was required. For a moment, he thought about telling her to get lost, going and spending the evening with Nina like he'd promised. But... wasn't there the faintest possibility that he could impress Marie with his knowledge of computers?

No, not really, thought Jon. But Marie smiled at him again, and his last resistance faded. Feeling oddly miserable about it, he nodded.

'Let me just... ', he said vaguely. Marie shrugged, impatient and already turning off the charm. He took out his cellphone and dialed Nina's number.

'Hi, it's me. Look, sorry about this, but I'm gonna have to cancel our plans for pizza'

Nina

Nina was looking at her watch when her cell phone rung. "Hello?"
She didn't really need to say it, or hear what John had to say. She already knew.

'Hi, it's me. Look, sorry about this, but I'm gonna have to cancel our plans for pizza'

Her face went into a frown, then she answers. "Ok, see you in class tomorrow."

It didn't take her long to make it to her apartment after that. She lived two blocks away from campus.

She tossed her keys on the table as she walked through the door. "Hello Giz." Shes sighed as she spotted her cat. Giz just looked up at her with contempt on her face. It was as if she were trying to say, "Why don't you go out and let me have a little more alone time?"

She lay herself on the couch, dialing the pizza company as her head hit the end. "Hi, this is Nina on 110 O'Conner. Could I have a double peperoni and chicken wings please."

After she hung up the phone she laid it on the coffee table. "Let's see what is on TV, shall we Giz?"

"The Brady Bunch........the Brady bunch...that's the way we became the Brady bunch."

'Yeah, re-runs.' She said sarcastically. "Ever wonder why the girls had a different father, but they were Brady's too? They never adopted the girls that I know of."

Giz jumped off the couch top and headed for the kitchen, his tail swishing back and forth angrily.

"Even you don't know how much I love you do you Giz?"

'.. and I think it should work'

John gave a silent prayer, and switched on the computer. To his relief, it gave the the happy beep of a fixed computer. Marie nodded briskly.

'That's great, John. Now, I have people coming around, so I hope you don't mind...'

She scooted him towards the door.

'Well, maybe I could...'

Marie raised an eyebrow. 'What?'

'... never mind', mumbled John

'Good'. Her smile had faded like the dew the moment the computer had been fixed. She didn't even make me a cup of coffee. John sighed. He'd had a rotten evening.

It was only ten o'clock, but he felt too disheartened and worn out to do anything but go home and get some sleep. He let himself in to his small apartment, and sank on to the bed, falling asleep almost instantly with a sigh of relief.

Nina

Nina showered, feeling the water cascade down her bountiful breasts. The water was warm, making her ache for warm arms around her. "The only thing carressing me these days is water." She sighed to herself as she moved the head of the shower to pulse.

She was just about ready to put the pulsing cock, well her imaginary cock, to her clit when the phone rang. "I bet it is John apologizing for ditching me." She giggled with glee.

She ran as fast as she could from the shower, her moment of extasy replaced by the phone call from her long time friend. "HEllo!" She almost shouted into the reciever.

"Hello, have you found yourself looking at you cable box knowing....." She slammed down the phone. "Stupid telemarketers."

Toweling off she made her way to the bed once again. Tonight, she planned on dreaming of a snow white castle. Everything would be white.

It only took a few minutes from her head hitting the pillow to her dream world........

The world was white. Snow covered ever part of the ground as she looked down from her tower window. It was a wonderland by any means, but more beautiful than any book she had ever read.

She looked out far from the castle and saw the stallion, carrying a prince she had no doubt of his name. "John, John my prince..." She smiled to herself. A dove flew to her window sill, his leg harnessed with a message carrier. "That is perfect, Roosevelt." She told the bird, "Fly, fly to my prince and carry with you this message for him. She wrote, on a snow white peice of paper, "John, my love, my treasured prince. I await your arrival at the tallest tower of my kingdom."

The world was white, blindingly so. John was dressed in strange clothes; lined with fur and thread-of-gold across the argent white. A cloak, pure white, was wrapped around him. In his dream he could ride; he sat on his horse with ease and grace.

In the distance, barely visible against the snow, was the outline of a great white castle; towers and spires and battlements shining in the the sun. As John watched, the silhouette of a bird, dark in the sun, rose from the highest tower.

It flew downwards, revealing itself to be a dove . It landed on his wrist and sat cooing while John undid the message wrapped around its leg.

"John, my love, my treasured prince. I await your arrival at the tallest tower of my kingdom."

John found himself breathing hard, the steam visible in the cold, clear air. He felt drawn by the note, and it seemed to him that in an instant he would remember. He sent his horse into a gallop towards the castle

The courtyard was eerie, but beautiful; frozen statues andicy gargoyles standing silent guard. John dismounted, his feet crunching softly on the densely packed snow, and looked around. The entrance to the tallest tower was up a flight of outdoor steps. John slowly began to climb them

Nina

She watched as John slowly acsended the staires to the doors. Soon he would go through the doors and she would only be able to see him through her mind's eye. "Send him a warning, just to let him know that what he seeks up here is not someone unfamiliar."

Soon, on the door right before him a sign appeared. The silver arcaic lettering sparkled like diamonds. "Ye who enter here must look inside them. For what lies inside is a part of their very soul."

She smiled, hoping he would have the courage to come through those doors. As she watched, a single tear fleeted from her eye, "For you, my love. For you, everything you desire."

John read the inscription. The words made him shiver without knowing why. The strangeness of this place; the eerie quiet and emptiness. Even his soft footfalls on the snow had sounded blasphemously loud in the stillness. All he knew was that at the top of the tower was something he desired more than life itself.

He pushed the door open and began his ascent. The stairway was cold as an omen. It spiralled up into the still higher gloom of the shell, footsteps that had been made in another age vibrated on distant floors.

Nina

She heard his footfalss on the steps as each one he took lead him closer to her. Would he accept what he saw? Would she flee before he knew what was coming?

"Come to me my love." She beckoned him. "Come to me as you wish. Tell me of your desires and they all shall be true."

He was ever closer now. Just outside the door that would bring him closer to her arms. "Come in." She called, still beckoning him. Tonight she would not run. She would let him in, and see what he would do.

John took a moment to breath at the top of the stairs. His throat was suddenly dry, and he swallowed. He knew it was a dream somehow, but that seemed to make it no less real. Whispers, tantalizingly on the edge of audibility, drifted through the tower. They weren't sinister, they were strangely pleasant, making him feel warm.

He gazed at the door. He felt a great need to see what lay beyond it. With a soft gesture, he pushed it open

As the door opened she saw him, standing there anticipating what was there.

He saw her, stand, no floating, there as if she were an angel. Her body, softened by the white light that glowed around her was naked except for the delicately placed roses. "Welcome." She annouced, holding her arms out as if they themselves were her wings.

Her smile lit up her face even more than it was in the light. "Don't just stand there. Say something." She whispered to him.

John had to hold back a gasp. The beauty of Nina's pale, naked body, framed in the white light, was overwhelming, and it compounded the strangeness. He'd never thought of his friend that way awake.. well, not really.

He smiled hesitantly at her warm smile, and stepped forward. Well, it might seem very real, and it might be about Nina, of all people, but all the same it was just a dream. It had its own rules.

'Is this the part where I wake up and realise it was all a dream?', he quipped, staring at her as if she'd disappear if he blinked
