So here's the thing. I got into a discussion the other day about dreams, so I thought it would be good to discuss on here.

So what kind of dreams have you had? Here's the place to share your dreams, from the scariest to the funniest, the weirdest to the most profound.

Also if you could have any one wish or one desire come true, what would it be?

Ok, here goes.

My one wish ~ Well, I've always dreamed of flying, not on a plane, but with my own power. I dream of having these large wings grow out of my back, and I could fly high above everything. Anyone know Angel, from the X-Men? Something like that, only I wouldn't call myself "Angel". On a less whimsical note, the other dream I wish would come true, and still believe will, is to have a loving family. To be married to a woman I loved and who loved me, and to have a child or two. Here's hoping.

Weirdest dream ~ well, I was in high school, and roaming the halls of one of our three campuses. The place was empty until I came to a turn in the hall where I saw this beautiful girl dressed in white. She exited the hall and I followed her. When I emerged I was standing just outside a store in a mall, and across the street was a Toys R Us. The young woman was replaced by a little girl, who was holding my hand and was begging me to take her to TRU. We started to cross, and then I was inside the entrance to a mall, and the girl was nowhere to be seen. Then I woke up.

Most profound dream ~ I've told people about this one before, but It changed my life, so I'll say it again. I was up at Reno, and had been talking to this girl I had strong feelings for in High school. To this day, she is the only woman I have ever seen myself getting married to and really being happy. Anyways, I was in this house, and talking to a little girl. I don't know how, but I knew she was my daughter. I've never felt such a strong feeling of love before in my life. It haunts me to this day, and I would give anything to feel that again. Anyway, I also knew that the mother was the girl I mentioned previously. Anyway, she asked me why she had to go to her aunts that night, so I told her that her mother was in a play. The little girl says to me "Well, why can't mommy play here? She can play with my toys if she wants." I laughed, and explained to her that playing and a play were two different things, and that she wouldn't enjoy mommy's play because it was for adults. Then I told her how much fun she'd have at her aunts, and that if she was good I'd take her to the zoo the next morning. She got all excited and then that's when I woke up. I sat up and cried all morning, and on and off for the next few days. I just didn't see how that situation could ever happen for me. It was a low point in my life. Anyway, it gave me strength and a desire to see it happen, and to this day it is the one thing

Finally, I have to throw this one in because it's related to the last dream. About a month ago, I had this dream that the girl I had feelings for from the last story called me up out of the blue. She was nervous, and explained to me that she had had the exact same dream, more or less, only switching roles. It really freaked me out.

Anything really. Mostly just sharing dreams, but comments on them are cool too. This thread is for anything and everything about dreams.

ok
well for anyone who reads this
the medicine shamans who taught me, made sure i realized that what we call dreams are just consicous trips into another reality that is just as real as this one- only with different rules
however dreams are not real, and are equal to this reality, which is also not real, it is also a dream.

when using dreams the key was to separate a "dream" where something from your day is rehashed by mind, and "dreaming' where something more is happening. dreaming is when the dream is very very real, like teh main dream you spoke of. that would be dreaming, and as such should be dissected piece by tiny piece to find every piece of wisdom in it for you

the first great trick is to wake up in your dreams, lucid deaming, where you know you are asleep dreaming, but don't wake up, and learn to control the dream
then to learn how to do it while awake, dreaming awake they call it this is the standard way to do healing. its not as powerful as asleep dreaming, cuz yuo don't go as deep, but you have more control to be sure healing happens
the last stage is to see yuor waking reality as a dream, thus not real, thus just as you learned to play with reality in your asleep dreaming, now you paly with it in your daily life.

at least, that is how i was taught.
