Local tales of a dragoness in the caves were told frequently, and sacrifices sent monthly, as per her demands.

As high moon approaches, the Dragoness is impatient - the recent "offerings" have been quite disappointing.

I watch the entrance of the cave with an insatiable hunger that has yet to be satisfied. As a dragon I am small, smaller than my brethren. As a woman I am accordingly petite, with a slender body.

I wait quietly, curled in secluded darkness.

Ken was a local farmhand of 19, and the next sacrifice to the dragoness, though he did not know.

Jenna awaits nightfall, knowing that her next victim will be arriving shortly. A loud rumble is heard from the caves, a signal to the village that he should be on his way quickly, or else the village itself would pay the consequence.

Ken was knocked unconcous and brought up in ropes.

As the men approach carrying his body, Jenna is intrigued by the unconscious man. He is left bound at the entrance as the men scatter away in fear.

She moves from her hiding place quietly, stepping into the moonlight, watching him closely and with an intrigue that he might actually fullfill her hunger.

Ken woke, his vision blurry. He saw the dragon and fear struck him.

Smiling to herself, Jenna quickly transforms into her human form - a beautiful woman with green eyes and blonde hair. Wearing only a cloak, she takes a few steps and leans over Kens body.

In a soft, melodic voice, she whispers "hush now, and don't worry. Are you afraid?"

He looked at her, not scared anymore. Now he was terrified.

Feeling disappointed, Jenna kneels down on the ground next to him.

"Promise you will not run, and I will untie you. I will know if you're lying, so it would be best to tell the truth," she said, her green eyes piercing but with an emmiting security that told him to trust her.

He nodded, he was as good as dead to the village, there was no point in running.

Giving him a warm and charming smile, "Good. I'm glad that you didn't have to spend the entire night bound. That would just annoy me."

Reaching around him, Jenna unties the knots around his wrists and ankles with a gentle, and carressing touch. She stands and waits for him to do the same.

"You should know that I am not what you have been told since birth, and that my company is rather enjoyable," she said to him. "Inside you will find luxuries that you are not accustomed to, and joining me will most certainly benefit you."

He stood, dizzy. He tried to follow her but kept hitting the walls.

Taking his hand Jenna leads the young man deep down into the caverns. Before too long he can smell food, and there is a bit of light visible.

"How are you feeling?" She asks with genuine sincerity

Jenna began to worry about the young man - feeling angry that the village men had handled him with such disregard. They approach sheer silk draping over an entrance. The light is soft, and welcoming. The scent of food is enticing.

Jenna pulled back the silk to reveal a luxurious hall with 3 corridors leading in different directions.

Carressing his cheek, she says "I'm sure you'd like to rest first, you do not seem well."

Jenna then leads him down the left corridor into a bed chamber. Motioning to the large bed she says "Lie here, I'll fetch some water and cold rags."

Returning to see him resting, Jenna smiled as she sat down next to him. She laid a cool rag on his fore head and supplied him with a few pillows for comfort. She kissed his forehead and left him in peace.

Occassionally she would look in on him, patiently waiting for him to feel rested enough to rise. She caught herself smiling to herself a few times and left quickly.

Noticing his quivering, she covered him with blankets and lay next to him - her body warming his.
