The diplomat and the Arab princess

The year is 1997.

William Grant at 28 years old is fluent in many languages including Arabic; he’s also fresh out of grad school. With no teaching jobs on offer he joins the State department and becomes an American Foreign Service Officer to an Arab state ‘Uzmaria.’
William usually never drinks, only when extremely stressed during his PHD studies, did he moderately drink alcohol.
Three months in to his posting its new year’s night and his fellow Foreign Service Officer’s invite him to an underground expat club that serves alcohol. He would’ve usually refused but the week prior he’d been a witness to a suicide bombing that left him startled. At the club he recklessly gets drunk and goes back to his place with an inebriated native nineteen year old Uzmarian girl he’d been flirting with at the club.
They make out and fall asleep in each other’s arms. Upon wakening, now that he has control of his faculties once more, his analytical mind realises that the girl is Princess Aadila, in that moment he’s slightly frightened. She likes him and wants to see him again, but he refuses and sneaks her out of his apartment.
They eventually start running into each other at diplomatic events over and over again, a year later on New Year’s night they begin a heated secret affair even though Aadila is now engaged to one of her father’s Colonel’s Bakhar. William and Aadila have been having anal sex to preserve her virginity.
Eight months later Aadila eventually marries Colonel Bakhar, the weeks are now counting down before William is shipped off to his new posting in Moscow. Before William leaves Aadila gives William her no longer virgin vagina.

The year is 2015

Uzmaria’s political system withstood the Arab spring in 2011, but the actions of its blood thirsty new King Bakhar, has resulted in a tense political climate. With hundreds of thousands of protestors occupying and looting, Uzmaria is at the brink of civil war. With trillions of barrels of oil at risk, the State department recalls the current ambassador to ‘Uzmaria’ and dispatches there top regional expert William Grant as the new ambassador.

The situation turns to civil war a day after William arrives as King Bakhar is killed. Williams’s first act as new ambassador is to evacuate the embassy, while he stays behind. William also sneaks out Queen Aadila and her son out of the country with the staff. Aadila’s son with Bakhar is really William’s son.

Quibbles & questions:

* Aadila would be an Arab princess, not Arabian -- she's not Saudi.
* Where was Princess Aadila's security detail when she was partying?
* How did Col Bakhar (merely a royal prince-consort) become king?
* With Aadila safely out of the country, does William resort to goats?
* When ISIL is destroyed and Aadila returns, does William become king?
