For sure, I have not been following this as close as other but here's what I see..........

Grey: In your posts and subsequent responses you seem to come off, and very much so, as someone who looks down their nose at what I would loosely refer to as "Internet Chat."

At first (I happen to believe) you gave the impression that you were here posting, "just to provide information and then turn your back, away from this strange past time, a past time that apparently aided in crippling poor Patryn."

One question then: Why do you keep responding?

When you do you see - you shoot yourself in the foot - fueling apprehension that in fact you exist in this, "caring big brother persona," at all.

If in fact "you are for real," you are a bit of a hypocrite. If you are not for real - you don't know much about the effectiveness of timing. Or taste.

Of course you could be doing some kind of twisted research - an experiment perhaps. Anyway - at this point, sincere or not - by responding, and responding - you have trashed any credibility you might have had - if you had just let it lie.

Or told the truth……… perhaps.

Who knows - maybe your just a creative dumb fuck.

Believe it or not......

I was in the Marine mess hall one day - doing KP awaiting trial/court martial - when this Recon fresh from Country comes in with a couple other killer/lifer's. They've been drinking down the E Club and they're boasting about this Recon's martial arts abilities - a crowd gathers. Somehow (I forget) a 2x4 and 3-penny nails are produced. The Recon drives a couple of them with "his hands." Then, he takes off his web belt and places it over the head of one of the nails, already driven about an inch in - he then drives it flat "with his forehead!" Jeesh! Fuckin' Jar Heads!

Well, you go do the leg work. Search on "Athos." Only 3 posts. Notice Athos' last post is a few minutes after Raven's post. Talk about talking to yourself! Search on "Raven." You don't need to read them all. Read the first one and some of the last ones.

Check out the thread "I'm pathetic and I want attention." Notice both Raven and Patryn on this thread. Remember when Patryn asked twice recently "Who is Raven?" Doh!

You wouldn't believe how many multiple personalities make up "The Dichotomy of Grey." Go figure!

And with all the posts, is it any wonder that a person wouldn't remember someone who posted for only a short time? I've stayed out of this Patryn thing until today.

On Wednesday last week, I received an email from a registered user, not very familiar to me, who was trolling on the Patryn is almost dead thread. I don't know if anyone else was contacted by this person, but for some reason this person needed me to know that Patryn is Grey, and concerned that I might be hurt by this. Why me? Am I supposed to blow the whistle? Why should I give any credibility to claims made by a troll? Why am I the detective? I can't even figure out how to post under more than one registered name, not that I care to. Hurt? boo hoo hoo.

Anyone showing concern on the Patryn threads have fallen into groups:

1. Grey is a legitimate person bringing us updates on poor Patryn, let's send cards and flowers.

2. Patryn is laughing her motherfucking ass off, I'm not buying this shit.

3. Patryn is a sick twisted person that deserves our support.

Which category do I fall into? I honestly still don't know.

Nobody knows.

We met over the internet, and I want to make plans to see him sometime this summer (he wants to, as well, but can't because of an ill brother). We talk all the time, and have 'known' each other since around last May. He's really helped me a lot with my recent breakup, but I did start having feelings for him before that.

Just want some opinions...and if anyone else has had something similar happen to them.

It involves the nature of on line relationships which many, many people have said they value. You know I like to give everyone the benefit of the doubt but, here we go.

Deb I will admit that when I came here the Raven/Leah thing was going on, and it was shortly after that these both left to never again show themselves. Well I didn't notice Patryn until my whole blow up with Whispersecret. Shortly afterwards she started a lot of threads on "How do you people post so much I have been here for a long time and my numbers don't reach anywhere near some of yours". Struck me as odd that she seemed to know a lot of us so well, but was never around to join in, because she stated that she had been away.

I'm not trying to put anyone down here but, it seems odd to me that since Patryn's disappearance we have lost the GUH family and other Troll's, when this subject matter was brought up to her on so many occasion's. I could be wrong and I truly hope I am. I just find it odd that's all.

Patryn and whomever else you may be, you know how this board works, why try to trick people into thinking something else? You should know by now how people work on here, and I'm glad they do that too. Think carefully on your next move because you are the one that is uncovering yourself.

What I think she was saying is look at the similarities between Patryn and Raven, they even seem to have the same problems.

I mean I dunno I may be thinking wrong but that's how I took her comment.

Plus there's nothing wrong with falling in love online, it's just that we all deal with it a little differently. Naked and Bobtoad didn't work out, while others are still going strong ... example :- Roger and Ginger. But I'm off track now ... sorry.
