I am just curious- when you say he moved out. Did he move out of your place to move in with them. I think I would be concerned if that were the case. You say you trust your boyfriend but there has to be some doubt in your mind. I think you should find a time when you can be alone with your boyfriend. Just talk honestly. If you love him-tell him- and then tell him it hurts your feelings that this was said.
