Odds on, who doesn't make it to see 2003?. And no, no one can pick Bob Hope.

Dick Cheney

Dick Armey (early retirement is weird)

flag

Well maybe this is a lil off the topic, but my gf and me been flying a flag which I will take down the day they kill that nasty looking ol man, bin Whatever. Shit, if he hadn't killed all those innocent people he should still be shot juss for bad looks. So maybe we should start a pool? guess the day they get him? or am I ridiculous again?

Oh and plus, had drinks wiffthis sharp guy I know and I loved what he said about the whole 'should we try the terrorist and how or juss execute them'. He said that 'justice is not measured by the process, it is measured by the results.' If I understand that, I think I like it.

But what really made me join in? was I had a dream this week that I was made Pope, wearing the white hat and everything. So is that a sign?

Whether people be of high or low birth, rich or poor, old or young, enlightened or confused, they are all alike in that they will one day die. It is not that we don't know that we are going to die, but we grasp at straws. While knowing that we will die someday, we think that all the others will die before us and that we will be the last to go. Death seems a long way oft.

Not for some people.
Meditation on inevitable death should be performed daily. Every day when one's body and mind are at peace, one should meditate upon being ripped apart by arrows, rifles, spears and swords, being carried away by surging waves, being thrown into the midst of a great fire, being struck by lightning, being shaken to death by a great earthquake, falling from thousand-foot cliffs, dying of disease or committing seppuku at the death of one's master. And every day without fail one should consider himself as dead.

There is a saying of the elders' that goes, "Step from under the eaves and you're a dead man. Leave the gate and the enemy is waiting." This is not a matter of being careful. It is to consider oneself as dead beforehand.

Someone told me that the only that makes us different is that we're the only living thing that understands it's going to die. Kind a shakes me up?
