Anyone else think that this movie has held up well over the years?Just watched it again for the zillionth time and I still love it!

Yeah, it's pretty good. I've always thought it was very well done for a B-movie. I put "Them" and "The Thing" in the same league.

Yes, love the Day the Earth Stood Still, and Them, and Thing, and so many others. The fight scene in Forbidden Planet still chills me, as does the scene of Renfield looking up into camera with his maniacal laugh.

The soundtrack to that movie was absolutely phenomenal - and perhaps the first time an electronic instrument was seriously used in composition, too.
