Dana: 32, short dark hair, dark brown eyes. She is 5'4, slim, but curvy.
she has a questionable history. No one knows where she came from, or what she did before she settled in this small town in midwest america. She had bought the old Jenson house on the hill. The house every said was haunted, no one could ever prove it, but that was the rumor. She worked in an antique book store, dealing with ancient books of all sorts. People came from all over the world to see her books.
IC: she had just closed the book shop, and decided to catch a bite to eat and a beer at the pub down the road. it was a thursday night, so the crowd wouldn't be too bad. She avoided the place on Fridays because she didn't want any attention paid to her.
She caught a glimpse of herself in the store window as she locked the door. her eyes were glowing. She closed them and said to herself, "no, not tonite." She opened them and they looked normal again.
She walked the block to the pub. She sat in a corner booth, smiled at the waitress who took her order. she took out the book she was reading and began to read. She felt the heat on the back of her neck and felt her short hairs stand on end. She didn't want to turn. She knew what she would see, and she didnt want to see it, didn't want to acknowledge it.
she had run so far, to get away. She was living in Freaking BFE for Gods sake. Why couldn't he leave her alone?
"Dana" she heard the whisper. She closed her eyes and said, "NO". "Dana, you know you can't get away. You belong to me." She turned and saw him standing to her left.
"I believe it is time for you to come home." She shook her head and said, "I have a home" He smiled, and said, "Yes, I know. Thats where we will be. Waiting for you."
she turned away, and he was gone. She took a deep breath, and found her appetite was gone. She drank the glass of beer, and stood up to leave.
She drove home, thinking of all she had endured. She didn't want to be like this. She fought it. She didn't like the darkness she carried in her.
She slammed the door and yelled, "If you want it, then by God, come and fucking get it."
she went to her bedroom, saw the bath already drawn. She stripped down and sank into the bubbles. she sensed him standing in the doorway, fully clothed in black trousers, and a black silk shirt. God he was striking. She would give him what he wanted, she would love to taste his dark soul. In the morning, she would pack up and leave again.
If she got away....
