Humans and mutants have been living together ever since world war one. Unfortunately because mutants were people that humans could not control for the most part. The people grew scared. And fear turned into hate and hate turns into war. But there was one mutant who had a school. His name was Charles Xavier. He believed that one day mutants could help humans and find a way how to do it. How humans and mutants could coexist peacefully. Not a lot of humans liked mutants. But it didn't matter what anybody had to say because one girl very human in love with a man that is very much mutant. But she didn't tell him, because she didn't know how he would take it. All Allison knew was that they were very good friends and she did not want to screw up the relationship between best friends. They were locked mentally but he never went into her mind without her knowing or permission. even though Allison was human she went on a lot of X-Men missions she was there intelligence officer. The funny thing was not a lot of people knew about there link. The only one that knew everything about it about was Xavier which was the real reason why she would come if Jo ended up going into a coma she would be able to get into his mind because of the link that they formed a friendship older then time.

Allison didn't really start thinking about the friendship until the mission that changed everything Charles had made it with the X-Men we're pretty much heroes to humans if something bad happened they would go to the X-Men. The Xmen would go where they were needed, in their black jet. And she would never forget that day whlere she thought she was going to lose her best friend. She was grateful he was a a very strong psychic. She saw everything happening. There was an explosion up in space everybody was getting dressed running around but she knew something was up with her friend Grey. He wasn't the usual perky self but there was no time. She never got a chance to really ask about it. Within 20 minutes they saw what they were described as a solar flare but it did not take a mutant to be able to see that this was no solar flare. Allison was worried about the plan and the plan was for nightcrawler to take Quicksilver and Jean to save the people. They did save the people everyone was happy but unfortunately nightcrawler could only get quicksilver and the second the flare burst. In that moment everything stopped and her heart sank she could not believe what was going on nightcrawler was able to get him out but he was unconscious looking at his unconscious body she remembered the fateful day that she had met Grey. It was a moment that would change everything. They got back quickly and all they could really do was let him rest he was alive and at the same time she held his hand while she was told he was in in a coma. Tears fall down her face remembering how they first met.

If it wasn't for gray she would have died she remembered meeting him when she was a child. Grey lost everything when her father drunk and stupid and speeding hit them she got away with minor injuries he had a couple scrapes but Grey's mother was killed. at first when this happened she was scared to death her father was unconscious and she was in the passenger seat scared and shaking but after the crash when she looked up she saw him grabbing his head his palms over his ears begging the voices to stop and that scream was violent and left her shaking and that was how she met him She managed to get out of her side of the car and went to him. He look like he was a high school student begging the voices to stop and as she got closer to him she felt power and knew he was a mutant. Here was an older kid screaming begging for voices to stop. She did not hear and she felt calm she was not afraid when she took his hands in her own and their eyes locked for the first time she knew this was going to be a very special friendship.

Which brings them to the situation before her now they have been very good friends for over 10 years he watched her grow up from a 5 year old To a 19 year old that just graduated high school. He was unconscious looking peaceful she was surrounded by his teammates and she was asked if she could reach him she went to the head of the bed and placed one hand on each side hovering on one side of his head and closed her eyes. she didn't know it was going to happen she did not know if she would be able to connect with him to but when she managed to finally gain confidence in her self she drove into his brain and she saw two figures the young Him that she had met so long ago in the man he was now screaming begging for release. She hoped to God this was not going to be a mistake but finally walking into his mind she had made a duplication of herself so they were to her the duplicate went to the child that was screaming and she went to the man she knew now and how both figures at the same time to get to him. it only took an instant in the real world where they were waiting her eyes shot open and a few seconds later his eyes opened up when their eyes met tears fall down her cheeks.

"I thought I lost you" she said very upset but happy at the same time.

In the deepest part of his brain with small specks of white cloud around the feet of the young version of himself and the other version of himself which is older. As one version is making the feel unbearable pain bursting through his little mind. While the younger one is now on his knees with his eyes closed to try to fight the other's power and not much can be done until a white beam of light shined in between them making the other version of himself to stop causing the young one pain. The young one sigh in relief as they both look towards the light and see a duplicate version of a woman they know and hold dear. The young one holds on and his lips curve into a smile before passing out. He said to her, "Thank you." While the other one looked at her in confusion and loss. He said to her, "Please be careful." As he disappears into a cloud of white mist. His mind turns on and nothing is leftover as his mind starts to recover.

He opens his eyes slowly while adjusting to the light that is coming from a window as he looks around the room until he saw her. His childhood friend and the one whom he holds close to his heart. He heard her voice which is sweet like honey with a hint sourness in her voice. He moves his hands to her cheeks and place them there with his lips curving into a smile as he looked at her. "You would not ever lose me Ally," his voice filled with warmth and longing.

She was glad he was alright if something happened to him she didn't know where she would be, so many bad possibilities. All she knew was he was everything and she should show him or tell him. She opened up her mind even more to him to see if he could see or feel it. stroking his cheek she saw some kids wanting to know if he was okay, she said he was fine and shooed them off for some peace. Stroking his cheek she had no idea what she would do without him it was almost to strong to bare alone.

He smiled at her and felt her stroking his cheek. He looked into her mind and felt what she was feeling and wanted to say more to her yet couldn't because of the place they are in. He pulled her closer to her with her ear a few inches away from his lips as he whispered to her. "I feel the same way about you too Ally. I would love for us to be alone yet I need to recover first. Also, be careful of him." He said to her before he fell asleep once again this time with his chest moving up and down slowly.

When he was speaking and he told her she needed to becareful not to trust, which was easy to do. Because he was the only one she trusted, trust was always a two way street just like respect was. It was easy to stay boxed in. But what was hard, was secretly loving a man who just happened to be an Omega mutant, which simply put he was one of the mutants that were the most powerful, even more powerful then most mutants.

Because she didn't really know who all he meant about not trusting, so she did what over protective friends did. And that was to protect, on her way to him she had gotten a gun. Sadly she was no mutant so she had to do what humans did. She had a gun that was hidden on her back and rigged in a way no one could tell in anyway. She had pulled a chair beside his bed , watching him. Her eyes scanned his body. Making sure he was alright.

His breathing was soft and flowed freely. She didn't even remember falling asleep but she did, she laid down on his bed, making sure not to wake him. Then had her head resting against his shoulder, her hand resting on his chest. Sleeping this way insured she was going to wake up same time he did.

He kept sleeping and opened his eyes slowly to see her beside his bed. He went back to sleep and his eyes opened once more while noticing that she was closer to him now made his heart skip a beat. He didn't move or make any sound. Instead he kept quiet while looking at her, he wished he could touch her yet can't due to being in his mind for so long.

He thought to himself while imagining his hand caressing her soft cheek as she sleeps. I want to touch you my phoenix, so much yet can't.

She started to move around a bit as if hearing him slowly she opened up her eyes and slowly looked up at him. When she saw him looking back tears could be seen well up into her eyes, she was so thankful he was as strong as he was. Sitting up she took his hand placing it on her cheek and looked at him. "Thank God!" She knew he wouldn't like the slow process of everything, because it would be a lot. Taking a deep breath she bent down and kissed him gently. After a few moments she broke the kiss and smiled. 'Ive been waiting for you to wake up, you have been unconscious about a week and I've been here never leaving for long periods of time."

Taking his hand in both hers she looked into his eyes. "Xavier told me and showed me something that you can do if you decide to recover this way. Because we are connected in every since of the word you can relearn to move. Basically it would be our minds together for you to copy my ability to do everything you can't do. It's not going to feel pretty it's going to hurt me a lot more then it will hurt you. But I want you up and moving around. If you choose the option where you recover like humans do, that it will take you months. Instead of doing it the mutant way we're your doing everything within hours.."

Bending down she kissed him on the lips moaning into them, pulling away. "I'm with you always no matter what"

He listened to her and pulled her to him with his eyes never leaving hers. "Allison, which way would you prefer for me to do?" He asked while wrapping her in his arms while bearing with the pain. He heard her moan when pulling back from the kiss. His lips curved upwards into his signature smile that she loves so much.

She could hear a tiny moan from his lips and knew what he needed to do. She heard him and wanted him well and sat back down. "Do what Xavier told me because he told me you knew how to do it just never have you never needed to." She sighed sitting back down she bent down so he could touch her. "I have never asked anything of you but now I must. I've had a taste of how this will feel for me. Once you start you cannot stop no matter how much I cry or scream don't stop no matter what..If you love me then do this for me.." she looked into his eyes. "I love you " she kissed him lovingly she felt his hands go on her face as she looked into his eyes smiling. "I trust you" she said closing her eyes as she opened up her mind.

He listened to her and placed his forehead against hers. With a soft whisper, "I love you too." He went into her mind and started to use the mutant way to start working on his body once more. He felt a little pain at first as he remembered what his older self told him before he left the mind space. "Don't let Xavier use you. Don't trust him. Keep your loved ones close especially Allison." He said. The pain started to get even worse to the point where he had to remove his hands from her face and stop the process as tears rolled down his cheeks.

She grunted out in a lot of pain but it was her own pain that was far worse, she was about ready to scream but she felt his hands leaving her body. Looking up into his eyes she smiled softly 'You have nothing to fear nobody uses me, he told me about it I asked other mutants" She kissed him lovingly and got up off the bed. The pain still felt it was easy to see it in how she holds herself on her feet, she took his hand. "You did it long enough Grey" She shook off the pain the best that she could, tilting her head to the side. She backed away from him and held her hand out to him. "Come to me Jo...And save the whole I can't thing, you know I wont put up with that shit" She smirked.

He placed his hand in hers and in one swift motion swung his legs off the bed to a sitting position while his eyes never left hers. He smiled and pulled her to him and she landed in between his lap. "Now, I do not think you saw that coming did you?" He asked her with his smile that always makes her weak in the knees. They stay like that for about ten minutes before he moved up and kissed her lips deeply and passionately before pulling back breathless.

She watched him move faster then any human ever could and couldn't help but begin to wonder what he was thinking of, tilting her head she chuckled a little bit and when he kissed her deeply she relaxed greatly holding onto him. Stroking his face she saw his eyes and everything stopped in that moment. She grinned softly "I'm not the telepathic" She said simply a soft and gentle smile showing nothing but love.

He smiled at her. "I knoe you are not telepathic, and I happy that you are not one because if you are then my brain will be naked in front of you. And that dear is no fun." He say with his smile that beams like the sun on a clear sky. He placed his hand on hers and cleared his throat. "Wil you wait for me?" He asked.

She smiled and placed her hand against his cheek and she spoke telepathically "You have gained my loyalty years ago. You do not see me...a human as something to be destroyed but a human who see's and can feel things you do" She took her free hand putting it against her temple. "Together For As Long As My Human Heart Beats..."
