Name - Narzeth
Age - 497 but looks no older than 25
Race - Last living member of the raven folk. winged immortal
Features - Large white wings spanning the length of two men but can be hidden if need be. glowing long silver hair and piercing grey eyes, toned body and very rarely wears upper body clothing. Only a long coat if it is needed. wears black trousers and no shoes.
Occupation - Bounty Hunter
Backround - Narzeth lived with his people in the forests around Kahzmeth for around a hundred years. When the vampyr creatures began to stray from Kahzmeth, particularly the modern day turned vampires, a great war raged in the forests for almost fifty years. During this time Narzeth fell in love with a female vampyr and live a night life of secrecy to frolick in the sky with her. Upon being discovered the vampire was slaughtered and Narzeth was banished to the clouds where he would watch his people be destroyed. the forests and the city was burned to the ground and rebuilt poorly by the vampires that lived there. Soon the city became swollen with sins, lies and murder, the streets more corrupt than you could imagine. creatures who were banished from elsewhere almost certainly found their way to Kahzmeth. In the day it was silent but at night, chaos emerged

I crouched above the city upon the church tower, my steely eyes gazing down into the streets. the rain oozed down my iron muscles and the gems that ran down my spine glowed warmly. except for the last one, the fifth one. This, as always was a dull black and i cursed as it ached, not becuse of the ache but because of a distant vision in the back of my mind that always arose when it did. there was only a woman but i could not recall her face. I pushed it away and thought about the night at hand. This, like any other night that i wasnt working would be something i would regret in the morning. i would go down into the streets, get drunk, find one of those filthy, halfbreed, modern vampiress's fuck her and when im done i will slaughter her and sink my face into her wounds. "Have I always been a meat eater? why do i do it if i dont enjoy it? still the sex will be more than good" i thought. I stretched my wings and glided down into a quiet back alley. Let the Hunt Begin.

Cyn

Name: Cyn
Age: 125, she looks to the naked, human eye (and most other races as well) to be 21 or 22...
Race:Vampyre
Features: She keeps her hair shorter, resting at the curve of her shoulders and no longer. It was so much easier to manage that way. The color was a gorgeous chocolate brown with highlights of golden honey. Her eyes, her eyes were that same chocolate brown, a darkness, a shadow seemed to flicker within.
Occupation: She danced, at the local strip club, Blooded

Background:Cyn had not been born into this abomination of a life. Cyn had not asked to be what she was. This life, this city, Kahzmeth, had all been thrust upon her when she was still young, still naive, still trusting.
Cyn was born Cindy, her last name is of no consequence here. Cindy was human, a perfectly normal child, a perfectly normal human. Were there still such things in this world? That was something she did not know.

What was significant in this young girl's life, was one small fact. The night that Narzeth's lover was slaughtered, was the very same night, that very same moment, as His Lover screamed out, as she was viciously slaughtered, that Cyn.. Cindy.. was born.. Cindy was mortal, human, but the soul of a vampyre... the lover of the Bounty Hunter Narzeth, came crashing into the babe's body at her moment of birth. It was inevitable that she would be turned. In fact, bitten or not, Cindy would have become what her soul cried out for her to be.. The vampyre that He loved.

Cindy was orphaned, when she was no more than 5 years old. She has no memory of what happened. Only that she was sent away. Away to the orphanage. She raised in a life of poverty, by the nuns who struggled daily to keep the children in their care safe from the darkness that seemed to be enveloping the world around them.
They almost succeeded with Cindy, having no knowledge of the circumstances the night of her birth, the slaughter and death that then, at that moment, turned to a new life..

Cindy met Lokur... There is no need to know much about the young, handsome drifter that had so won her heart. Only that He was not human, He was a vampire.
The nuns tried to save her after she was bitten. Tried to turn her back to the human child they knew and loved. It could never work.. Even without the intervention of Lokur, which only brought upon her change faster than anticipated, she would have evolved, changed.....

Of course what the nuns did didn't work...

The only option left was death. But Cindy awoke before the terrible deed could be carried out. She slaughtered the nuns, sparing the children.

Horrified at what she had done, at what she had become, she ran. She ran as far as she could, as fast as she could. She was hunted. She was a Predator. She was a Monster. A Killer.. a Vampyre...

She vowed to hunt and kill Lokur, her sire. Her hunt had bought her to the city of Kahzmeth. Her hunt and perhaps fate itself....

She left her life behind, her human side, and her name. She adopted the name Cyn, for that was what she had done. She had sinned. She was destined to burn in the very pits of Hell. She was nothing more than a Killer, a Monster that deserved to suffer.

Her search had brought her to Kahzmeth. Lokur had been found and with a scream of triumph, she had killed him. His head severed, his heart shorne thru with a steel spike. She thought she would have found peace. But she only found more despair, more anger. More hatred.

Cyn hated herself and what she had become.

She had no where to go.. so Kahzmeth became home.

This is Cyn

~ The darkness, the gloom, creeped into the room she called home... She stood in the midst, listening the the pulse of the rain outside. There was no lightening, there was no thunder, just the steady thrum of the rain. Cleansing rain. Cyn like the cleansing rain. It was the only time she felt.... clean....

But this night was not a night to be standing out in the midst of the tempest. Kahzmeth was a city of chaos, a city of perversion and evil. Of the eternal darkness that seemed to encompass it. There were some that called Kahzmeth.. Hell. No, this was not Hell, Cyn was convinced of that. This was just a stop along the way to those burning pits. Most nights were not nights to be standing out in the middle of the storm. Or in the middle of the calm for that matter, if calm ever settled in on the despairing city.

But...

As of late, things had been happening in Kahzmeth. Things that the myriad of vampyres, of monsters and demons, of creatures that haunted the nightmares of humans, things that none liked to speak of. To even think of. There were killings in Kahzmeth... killings and rapes and tortures, blood feasting and sacraficing.. but as of late, the deaths had taken a sinister turn. Females, Female vampyres, had been found, torn asunder, fed upon, both lustfully, sexually and ... well.. fed upon...
Rumors festered... stories took hold.. The people of Kahzmeth, if one could call them people, spoke of One.. One who Hunted... Hunted them.... One who sought revenge, for the slaugher of His Lover... His name was never spoken, only whispered, and only seldom...

Narzeth.. last living being of the Raven people. With ivory angelic wings ... and the vicious appetite of the most powerful of Vampyres. None new His weaknesses or limitations. None knew if He had any. None knew if He even was really alive, or if all the myths that were spoken about were just that.. myths...

All anyone knew was that something... HUNTED...

Cyn had heard it all, working at the Blooded ... The talk scared her, yes. But she knew all about fear and how to handle that. So she did not let it interrupt her life, such that it was. She had no idea that she carried the soul of His dead Lover.. none...

This night she paused at the window to watch the rain. The city was abnormally quiet, but she knew that was because of the storm and the recent rumors. As the night aged, and the rain ended, the chaos would inevitably begin again.

She took a last look at herself in the mirror.. she wore a long black dress, that clung to every supple curve of her young body. Slender fingers lift to quickly flutter thru her hair.. the dark silken mane falling to her shoulders, just where she liked it.. she drew her cloak about her, hood up, and headed out the door. It was time to head to the Club, time for another night of work. Perhaps some humans would be drawn in once more, as strip clubs tended to do. Cyn was hungry, she needed to feed...... ~

Narzeth liked his whiskey, not that the whiskey in the dampened city of kahzmeth was anything to go by. Nonetheless he liked it all the same, and needless to say it didnt bring out the best in him. He knew this but it was either the mediocre, weakened whiskey or the opium den in the attic of the priests temple. There wasnt a place in Kahzmeth that wasnt corrupt.

Narzeth - I walked up the infested street. thats what it was, infested. those pathetic halfbreeds offering their bodies. i hate the moderns they smell rotten and have no dignity in their actions. even the humans came here for a taste of them, they would pay in blood. Blood from their last victim. This is not how things were, how i was. What has happened.

I continued to walk up the street and the rain continued to fall, it almost always did. It was collecting on my silver brow and occasionally drip down, tainting my sight through my misty eyes. And the topmost gem on his back glowed. As it almost always did I knew where i was going, i always did on a wednesday, thats the night that Cyn dances. I was was headed to the Blooded. This place didnt smell so bad, not like Vamp, there were humans in this one.

Cyn was a halfbreed, he knew that but she wasnt modern and she didnt quite smell like a halfbreed either. I did not like her but she moved well. it stirred my sexuality, even before i fuelled up on the amber spirit. As i walked up to the door the Security raised his hand and attemted to say something to me, he wasnt able to raise his hand for a long time after that. He was in my way and Cyn had already started, you could tell by the smell in there, absolutely everyone was aroused, even the women.

Walking through the door, i nudged my way to the bar. A drink and a good view of the stage, what more could you want?

I dropped some coins on the bar in front of topless woman behind the bar.

"Whiskey, large"

Upon recieving the drink i span around on my stool to watch the stage. there she was, swaing her hips, thrusting, spinning. and for the first time. she looked at me. Our eyes met, those eyes, theres something about them? And then....................................

AAAAAAARGH! A searing pain ran through the small of his back, striking the mid point of the black gem. It burned. I fell to my knees, eyes shut, dreaming. there was blood in these dreams, and wings and....fangs. The pain subsides, i draw in a breath and stagger upwards firmly grimming the bar until i can regain my composure. Then there was the Modern

"Look at that drunken idiot with the faggot hair! your in the big boys club little boy, go home. mummy is waiting."

It clicked and letting out a sharp hiss my hand shot up to his face, drawing the moisture out of his skin, Progressively sucking him dry. When he started to cry i let go. the Topmost gem, for the second time that night, was glowing.

Back to the show i thought. She wasnt looking anymore but damn was she fine, and i could feel her sexual presence all over me, moreso in particular areas. but that wasnt the only thing on my mind

What the hell was that pain? And the dream?

~ Narzeth was spoken of, the killings, the rapes, and feedings.. but none knew what He actually looked like.. hence when He appeared at the Blooded, when He hunted, none realized it was He.. none realized it was He that was exacting His revenge, His blood lust. Not until that very last moment, when He looked into their eyes...

Cyn made her way thru the everlasting rain. The droplets falling on her like stinging touches of ice.. it was cold, it was dark, this was Kahzmeth ... she was used to it, did not mean she had to really like it.

Slipping in the back entrance to the Club, a smile to the Bouncer who watched the door.. It was Howler.. He was a Lycan, and Cyn actually liked him. He was harmless, low on the totem pole so to speak and relatively weak. But a good Bouncer for the back entrance. She ruffled his hair as she entered..

Once in her dressing room, she stripped off the cloak and hood.. this night she would dance as a gypsie. With the long flowing blood red skirt that would undulate around her hips and legs like a cimson, blood dripping snake, this and white lace halter top. She accented with thigh high black boots, and several black silken scarves that hung from her about her throat, slithered down each arm like long snake like bracelets, and about her hips... She was ready....

The music started, music of her choice. She was allowed to chose whatever she desired to dance to, and this day she picked music that had a distinct sexual edge to it.. she was not sure why, but she was feeling a bit... warmer.. this night than she had in a while..

As the first notes began (Kashmir by Led Zepplin).. Cyn stepped onstage, to the delight of the gathered species.. which, Cyn took quick notice, included humans. She hungered, she indeed would feed...

Her body moved, swayed, undulated, Cyn prowled the stage as if now hunting, finding, feeding... she came to her knees, arching back, praying to the heavens, the whole of her form arched.. as she danced.. slithered, across the stage..

She felt eyes on her, and as she lifted back to her feet, rocking her hips as the crimson skirt glides about her as if liquid blood that was trailing down her legs, her head comes up, a quick brush back of dark tendrils with slender fingers and her eyes meet His....

When I'm on, when I'm on my way, yeah
When I see, when I see the way, you stay-yeah

Ooh, yeah-yeah, ooh, yeah-yeah, when I'm down...
Ooh, yeah-yeah, ooh, yeah-yeah, well I'm down, so down
Ooh, my baby, oooh, my baby, let me take you there

Let me take you there
Let me take you there

The song seemed to melt around her.. she could feel the melody, the music, moving her now, no longer was she even thinking of the dance that she was doing...the silken scarves, the only thing that she actually stripped off, slowly pooled at her feet upon that stage, as if worshipping the dancing goddess... but she was no longer even aware of any around her.. Him.. only Him... her eyes were captured within His... silver grey, almost seeming to penetrate deeply into her darkness, igniting the golden fire that blazed within.. her eyes flickered.. His Lover, the slaughtered Vampyre, had golden eyes, and for that moment, Cyn's came alive with that same golden fire.

She took a deep breath, and manages to pull her eyes from His.. she felt almost.. drained, not quite understanding what had just happened. She had looked away, dancing, grinding, to the far side of the stage, at the moment He had His... incident and His reaction to the atagonist. She missed it all.

Cyn's sexuality was soo powerful, that she did not have to strip at all to arouse the patrons of the bar.. other than the accent scarves... She, as she danced, would flash them, the lifting of the skirt to reveal no undergarments, the white of the lace halter translucent, the swell of her breasts, dark peaks of her nipples, clearly seen. She was different than any that danced there. It was as if she exuded sexual energy, it was a scent all around her, a pulsing power that radiated out from her...

The song faded into the background, leaving her upon her back on the stage.. arched upwards.. arms outstretched. As the hoots and hollars came roaring from the crowd, she lifted slowly, rolling to come up on hands and knees, head still down, her dark mane veiling her face and eyes for a moment. A sensual animal, looking almost ready to mate. Slowly.. oh so slowly, she lifted her head, her eyes looking beyond the gathered crowd, she sought Him again.. unsure why, but something deep within her wanted to see those striking eyes once more....

Hers were pure golden, blazing deep within.. seeking His ... ~

I watched her movements with glazed eyes not really paying to much attention to the perfect rythmic movements of her being. It was the energy that always drew me to her, it called me and it was so erotic. Her perfectly carved body arched upwards and gracefully slithered to the floor, concealed by the throng of sweaty people and creatures in front. I knew that was time to leave. The whiskey had come hard and fast throughout Cyn's performance and it was getting to my head. Besides, i was hungry, both in my stomach and in my pants. Tossing my empty glass on to the bar i eased towards the door with large footsteps. I risked another glance when there was an opening in the crowd and saw her, on her hands and knees. What i would give to be there with her, our naked bodies sliding against eachother with ease because of our sweat, my nostrils filling with her sweet aroma. Regaining my straying thoughts, i tore my eyes away and headed back out into the rain.

The Back alleys. Any of the back alleys was an easy place to hunt. The moderns seemed to think they were safe from any of the chaos in Kahzmeth, thought they were above the rest. They would often walk down the alleys of Kahzmeth, drunken and failing miserably in their attempt to feed.

I ached. I ached with lust and hunger, i needed to release this tension soon. I took the first alley i came across and walked down it a while. With an almost acrobatic movement i sprang up on to a large waste can and crouched down. I could see the man standing out of the rain in a doorway just up the road. Well i say man, it had a man body but it was definately a lychen. This was definately gonna throw a spanner into my feeding. he needed to leave, and fast.

"Hey punk, get down from there. You cant stay here!"

Unbelievable. This little dogman had an attitude. Must be modern. The elders were wise, they were poeple of the forest like my folk.

"who says i cant?" i sighed

"I do, and if you dont scram pretty soon ill rip you limb FROM LIMB!" the last part of the sentence drifted off into a growl.

A smile crept across my face that i couldnt help. I could feel the second red gem on my back begin to glow as i raised my hands and whispered a few words.
The ground shook and the earth rose up either side of the filthy lychen, forming strong bonds between the floor and his hands.

"You should have gone inside doggy" I stated, eyes ablaze like liquid silver

The man beast-writhed on the ground clutching at his neck, or what was left of his neck, gasping for air that his blood filled lungs just wasnt appreciating.

As i trudged on up the alleyway i spat the filthy lychen blood out upon the floor, my actions causing my eyes to stray to the door where the man was standing.

THE BLOODED

"Shit" i cursed. He worked there! its almost closing tim and people are going to be coming out of there and through here. Id better make myself scarce, feed somewhere else. Tossing the long coat from my back, no longer concealing the gems or the wings i spread my feathered limbs aloft and with a confident jump and an arc of the wings i was above the rooftops.

There was a pang of regret in my heart

"Was i always this heartless"

Its one thing killing to feed but its a completely different horizon killing for anger?

Still i needed to feed my urges..............................and it was getting late.

~ One moment He was there, the next, He with those gleaming silver eyes... was gone.

Cyn shook her head slightly, as if to clear it, lifting from her so very submissive position upon hands and knees, back to her feet. A toss of her head sent her dark silken mane tumbling back from before her eyes. The throng was panting, some almost seemed willing to jump the stage to get to her... Let them.. She hungered, enough that she would feed right here and now, before the gathered, if one dared to proceed with the idea of advancing onto the stage.

She took one last look around. There were several interesting prospects for feeding, her tongue slithering over her moist lips at the thought, pausing to caress each sharp fang before retreating back into her warm mouth...
Several interesting prospects...

Disappearing behind the curtain to the back of the Blooded ... Cyn did not hang around to hear the other dancers words of praise. Nor did she care what the Owner thought. She was allowed to come and go as she pleased, as long as she danced on the nights the Owner desired, and Cyn did just that. Otherwise she answered to no one, something she was perfectly content with.

The cloak slide around her form. She wanted, needed, to feed, but something was drawing her out of the Club this night. She wanted the taste of something, fresher.. not tainted by the booze and drugs that the Club provided...

A lean of hip into the back door and it easily popped open, only... Howler, the Lycan Bouncer was not there. Cyn paused at the open door, that was unlike him. He loved this job, and was pretty good at it. Why would he leave the back door unguarded?

Stepping out into that persistant rain, something caught her eye. Ivory...Silvery.. white.. wings. Something, someone, was..........

Cyn froze, staring. Whatever she saw in that moment in the dark rain, had lifted aloft upon those angelic wings, to soar silently to the rooftops, the rain and gloom engulfing It... Swallowing hard, she stared up into that cold rain, blinking. What, what had she just seen???? Along with that silvery white, those angel wings, she had caught the glimpse of crimson red, like a blooded ruby, or moreso a firey diamond. She felt something inside her.. something almost seemed to awaken...

Leaning back against the now closed door, when had it closed? Cyn had not even heard the *thud*... before her eyes she saw those wings.. as a memory, perhaps not really her own, invaded her mind...

She was atop the Cathedral that sat on the edge of the dark city. A Cathedral that had not been used or occupied in what seemed like centuries. Atop this mightly gothic building was herself, the the angelic creature, those silvery wings aloft, only to gently lower down about her naked form. She turned, eyes ablaze in golden fire, and met the liquid silver gaze of.... Narzeth... His silvery white mane flowing down to mingle with His wings, framing His so very handsome face in the color of pure moonlight.. which also seemed to envelope them upon that rooftop...

A moment later and their lips met.. the kiss deep.. passionate... tongues entwining... a moan of hunger escaping her lips...........................

Cyn gasped and slid down the wall, the strength of the memory making her weak.. a soft whimper slips from her dusky lips, arms wrapping about herself. As her eyes lower from gazing at the dark sky above, she sees the unmoving, torn, body of the Bouncer.. Howler, lying in the alley, dead, attacked......... a silver feather lay upon the body ~

"This night is going from bad to worse" i thought to myself

first the attack on my senses and now ive got filthy lychen blood dripping down my chin, i havent fed properly and ive got to rethink my moves. my groin area still throbbed from seeing the seductive Cy sway her hips on the dancefloor and im hungrier than ever.

jutting out of the skyline, the huge dome of an abandoned cathedral. moss grew aplenty on the dome and over the years the ivy had crawled its way up across the sphere. spiralling down towards it with little grace and thought i slid through the grey sky to think and regroup. i needed to satisfy my urges. Both of them. The filthy blood from the lychen was stinging upon my lips. But it was blood nontheless and now i was hungrier than ever. when had i become so addicted?
i realeased the toughtness of my wings against the air and dropped the last few feet into the centre of the dome. It hit me like ten ton of bricks. someone was sliding a blade right through the small of my back, right through the centre of my black gem.

And the sky was clear, velvety. My wingas enfolding another, brushing softly against her perfect naked form, he eyes were stealing a thousand of my whispers and her teeth, long and ponted called me closer. they set off her blood red lips, pure divine. or was it?

it was on this thought that i rode. All the way down the side of the dome, off, the edge until i plummeted into a lower level, heavily laden with gargoyles. and it was gone. The rain poured down on me once again. with a huge effort i rolled myself over the edge of the lower level, and hurtled toward the ground. Among the hundred foot of the decent i managed to regain a little composure and somehow managed to land on my feet, with little grace. And i ran. I kept on running towards the centre of town. nothing else is going to stop the rest of my plans for tonight. only stopping once to buy a long trenchcoat to cover my wings off of a bum lying n a doorway, i had finally reached the centre of town. I slowed my pace at the alley of sins.

It was the young, attitude ridden voice that stopped me in my tracks. It was drifting from a nearby doorway. I could tell she was recently turned, she must ave only been around eighteen but you could also tell she was no stranger to the job she was working tonight.

"hey punk. Yeah you with the goofy hair! you want some fun?"

She had her back against the door, a little arched. Her stockings reaching mid thigh, her skirt a little higher than that, clearly revealing a glimpse of he red panties. her upper region consisted of a simple red bra, and a large cigarrete hanging from her lips.

"sure" i replied. "ive had a bad night"

"i hope its not the kind of bad where you lost all of your money in a game of cards, coz this is gonna to cost ya"

"No my darling, i believe its going to cost you" i smiled.

"hm, watever. follow me punk"

she led the way to the nearest alley. i smiled once more.

finally i would feed

~ It was the rain that roused her once more, had she passed out? That would not be a good thing, not here, not now, it made it too easy for one to.. take advantage.. and that was the last thing Cyn needed...

The memory felt like a distant dream now, save for the face that Howler still lay dead nearby.. A wave of sadness flooded thru her.. He had been a bit dense, but nice. What would have killed him?? He was not weak by any means..

She lifted slowly to her feet, soaked to the bone even under her cloak.. debating on whether she would feed or just head home... she really hated feeding.. hated what she had become.. but she had no eral choice in the matter.. could she go another day without?? She decided, standing there in the rain, to head in the direction of home, if the oppertunity presented itself, she would then feed as needed.. but she was not up for a hunt of any kind..

She would pass the Alley of Sins.. often there it was easy to find prey... she usually avoided that place.. but maybe there would be some easy pickin's.....

The rain would not let up, relentlessly pounding, her, the concrete.. cold...wet.. and just plain miserable. There were few at the Alley this night, not that she could blame them, the night really was awful.. good for staying home... or at least staying dry...

There were none that even caught her eye this night, most were the drug hazed losers that she refused to feed from.. the last thing she needed was to get high.. or buzzed.. or anything from one of them... tonight she would go hungry...

Passing the Alley, that was when she heard it, a muffled cry?? The sound of someone, someone in pain, someone terrified, yet her cries, and yes it was coming from a female, were muted, muffled, silenced...

Then she heard a low growl.. deep, rumbling, and the sound... the sound of.... feeding...

Something was not right, something drew her into that alley... the Alley of Sins... normally she cared less what happened to others around her, but this plaintive, mournful cry had attracted her, that... that the growl.... ~

We walked a while, myself and the whore. The rain beat heavily, not that either of us noticed. We both yearned for something. She, my money, and i, her pussy, her flesh, her blood.

Upon these thoughts is where she stopped, lifting her pert ass on to a trash can. Spreading her legs, she smiled at me. i noticed that, with her one hand she had slipped her underwear to the side, revealing a bald, gleaming pussy.

"come on shmuck, get it out. I wanna get this over with and go home"

"as You wish" i smiled.

Trundling over to her, unzipping my pants i could see the look of surprise on her face when i let loose. Quickly regaining her composure she smiled for the fist time and pulled me towards her, raising slightly to allow me to enter her.

She slid down slowly, she still gasped though.

"My god, its so big" she moaned. "ou better fuck me good boy!"

"As you wish" I replied for the second time.

Wish a smile on her face she let out loud, high pitched yelps as i pounded my length deep inside of her. Previously i had unhooked her bra and i gaze at her chest, the rain tracing elegant roots down her pale skin, glistening in the moonlight. Her eyes were tightly closed now and she was moaning hard and breathing heavily, all the while a followed the patterns the rain was making on her flesh, her warm flesh. The drops danced an awkward pattern down her breasts to her naval area, it was enthralling.

"oh my good your so good! EAT ME BOY. EAT ME!!!"

"as you wish!"

Her next sound was not a moan of pleasure. though it should have been. as together we climaxed, my teeth sunk deep into her neck and i ate her. She screamed. i ate.

The movement of the shadows in the corner of my eye brought me down from the high.

"what the hell was that" i thought

~ that plaintive cry that had so attracted Cyn turned out to be the moan of one getting fucked.. that paired with the rapid heartbeat of one in the act of mating. This was not something that Cyn wanted, nor needed to see. Shaking her head, she not seeing the mating party, only hearing that "fuck me" moan once more, and the rapid heartbeat, she turned, chastising herself for even caring to investigate what she thought had been a cry perhaps for help....

A moment later, Cyn had not even emerged from the alleyway, when the scream, high pitched and agonized, split the night, lost in the roar of thunder that followed. Her eyes widened as she heard the sound, mingling together, that agonized sound and the powerful bass of thunder..

Any others in the area ran, for the stories were rampant of the attacks, of the killings, of the feedings. Cyn should have run like the others, but the scent of blood hit her, slithering around her as she stood there in the rain. Fresh blood, flowing blood, warm, sweet, tinged with fear, no, tinged with absolute terror. She felt her own fangs lengthen, even as she tried to consciously gain control of herself. She would not feed on a screaming, terrified victim. She had enough death in her past.

Following the sound, the scream had faded into a dull, muffled whimper. The girl was still alive, she could sense that, hear the slowly fading heartbeat, was there another heartbeat? Should there not be 2, if the act of sex were indeed happening? Cyn felt a sudden feeling of fear envelope her form. She leaned her lithe body against the wall and advanced, following the sound of whimpering, hearing another sound, feeding. Only this was unlike anything she had ever heard before.

She rounded the corner and came upon the scene. The girl on the trashcan, He buried inside her still, her head tilted back at a horrible angle... too far back... her throat was ripped thru and He, He was feeding....

Her eyes widened and she had to silence the scream that built up in her throat. She had seen alot of death, she had been the cause of that same death. But this was something more evil, more horrifying, than even she had ever seen. He looked like an Angel, with those silvery white wings, the rain drops rolling down each ivory feather, a length of long white hair cascading down His back.. He looked powerful, and lethal, and as Cyn watched, she heard the girl's heartbeat cease... one last shuddering tremor...

Falling back against the wall, she took a loud intake of breath, not meaning to, but unable to stop, the gasp seeming to echo into the rain filled silence...

Oh shit... He had heard her, for He was lifting His head.. ~

The thick blood oozed its way down my chin, dripping from the end on to the wench`s exposed breasts.

"i cant be seen, i cant fight the whole town" I thought.

This was the first time panic had engulfed my senses in a long time.

The girl twitched in my arms now, lifeless but her body convulsing. The constant onslought of the putrid city rain washed the whores blood towards the entrance of the alley, the same entrance where the shadows danced for a moment. It was no use, whoever was there, had to die. I couldnt risk my own life and let escape an obvious witness to this dreadful sequence of events. These repeated events made my skin crawl but i could not cease to endeavour in them, and they could prove to be the end of the line for me if i was discovered.

Slowly i created my movements cautious not to scare away that all seeing shadow.

There was nothing. Only the wind whispering through the slates of water cascading from the sky.

Calling upon my inner knowledge i rased my hand and whispered the words. What engulfed my hand in that release of whispers was a brilliant whit flame. And thats when i say her, or should i say them because the only this that i registered was the eyes. I saw those Magnificent gleaming brown eyes. i saw them.....i felt them, watched them enter through my own, slice through every fibre of my being and lay its final blow upon the small of my back.

The lifeless girl was disgarded accidentaly as my own form crumpled upon itself. The gem. It glowed. It burned. It conqured.

Amidst this pain something was clarified in my head. This was Cyn. She had done this to me once before. I knew there was something different about her vampyre being. Was it a higher power she possed? What was this power?

"Is she trying to kill me?" i thought

"what...Whaaaaaaaaaarrrrgh" another wave of agony swept over me as i made an attempt look look at her once more.

"what are you doing here. This is no place for a girl"

~ Cyn's eyes met His, in that flare of white light, that seemed to dance upon His fingertips... she knew those eyes, those silver grey eyes. The Club, she had seen those eyes, watching her, studying her, staring at her, at the Blooded, while she danced. It was those same eyes that she had stared back into, from across the expanse of the stage.. over the heads of all the others, she looking thru all others and finding Him....

Cyn no longer felt the rain that pelted on her skin. She no longer was aware of the chill, of the wind that raced past her, she was no longer aware of the body that fell in a lifeless heap to the soaking wet, dirty, cement with a sickening thud. She was aware of only 2 things in that alley at that moment, the scent of the girl's blood which still hung in the air despite the rain and wind, and the agonizing pain that the creature, was it a man? was it a vampire? was it an angel? she was only aware of the searing pain that ripped thru Him, for deep in her own soul, she felt it too, her soul screaming, being torn apart...

"what, whaaaaaaaarrrgghhh... what are you doing here. This is no place for a girl"

She should have turned, should have run, this had to be the Beast, the One that had torn Howler apart, that had been killing, feasting, in the City... but then again, she too was a Beast, a Beast that had killed, so many lives. The nuns, slaughtering the nuns...

The memory hit her hard and fast.... it had happened only in a matter of moments... they were holding her down, praying, chanting, speaking of the evil that had possessed her, and that she had to die. She had opened her eyes, as the nun raised the axe, about to sever her head, she had awakened, and in a terrified attempt to protect herself and her own life, she had killed... blood, screaming, pain, panic....
As the horrible memory played out, she screamed, falling back into the shadows for a moment, the wall the only thing holding her upright. That memory quickly faded as did her scream, only to be replaced with another....

The memory of her own death, wait, not hers, but the death of the soul that lived within her...

Cyn screamed again, the torn howl of one being ripped apart.. being burned alive.. the scream of a lonely soul that could not find it's way back... the scream of slaughtered love... she fell to the ground, sliding down that wet wall... eyes staring up, and into His... her eyes had never left His... staring... seeing... feeling... ~

Our eyes were locked, i was locked. my muscles were locked and more they screamed out to be released from those eyes the more i continued to look.

........................................................................................................

There was an explosion, but not of the physical sort, it occured right inside my head. releasing swarms of things that i had not seen before, but felt like i already knew. There were vivid images, Voices all inside my head as i shook on the floor, staring into her eyes.

"Do you ever think they will approve of us? You know, down there?" Her big brown eyes stared down at the expanse of forest below.

"If they discovered this, they would have me kill you.The Gem At the bottom of my back, The one that glows purple. That is for you my love. That is the love that burns inside myself for you. The only way to destroy it is to destroy our love. You cant love me if i die and In order to destroy my love and the gem i must possess the ability to willfully kill you"

She looked into my eyes with that grin on her face that mischievous grin.

"oh yea? well if youre gonna kill me your gonna have to catch me first!"

Raising her legs to push herself away from my from my body, she silently drew one of her many knifes and sliced a small, neat line down the centre of my chest, before her form went tumbling elegantly through the nothingness between myself and the ground. She dissappeared into the forest, and i sighed.

"Oh Verel.Ill catch you, but i wont be killing."

I released the tension in my wings, allowing my body to hurtle towards the forest headfirst, though just as gracefully as Verel.
Stopping only slightly before my form smashed into the ground, an extension of my wings allowed me to land silently, sword in hand.

It was quiet. The quiet of every matter or being in the area holding its breath to see the outcome of this situation.

I heard the whistle long before the knife sailed past my eyes and i was in a half run before she began to make her escape. Her giggle carried back to my ears, teasing me, urging me on. Her black, loose gypsey dress swaying as she sprinted through the trees. Her bare feet made no sound on the padded floor of the forest but i could see and hear her now so it didnt matter. And then. She was gone.

I stopped in my tracks, gazing around, sword at the ready....................There was that silence again

It wasnt long before it was diturbed, but i was ready. I saw the sollhouette leaping over my head, a quick change of postition and a raise of my hand and............slice. The point was mine.

It must have sent the woman slightly off balance as she landed face first, from the neck down her naked body covered in dry compost.

Her black dress draped from the end of my sword, and a droplet of blood was clinging to the end. You wouldnt believe the smile on my face, staring down and her prefect form.

"alright, you win!" she declared picking herself up from the floor

She swung round and her hips swayed, and the blod dripped from between her breasts. The perfect shot!

She walked towards me and looked up into my eyes.

The gem exploded into a magnificent purple haze, it warmed me inside

"I love you Verel"
"And I, you Narzeth"

Our eyes locked....................................Those eyes

........................................................................................................

Those eyes, they were staring at me right now.

"Ve...........Verel?" I pleaded

"Ve...........Verel?"

~ That one word, whispered from the lips of a Monster, a Monster standing before her, silenced her screaming, and stilled her trembling. It was not her name, yet there was something familiar, so very familiar with that name, that word, that slipped from His lips and into her soul. She felt the shudder, the quiver, deep inside her...

"Narzeth?" came the answer. How? How did she know the Monster's name, the Killer that had been attacking, feeding, the Angel that perhaps had been exacting revenge on vampire and mortal alike?
Cyn did not understand what was happening, perhaps she was not supposed to, at least not yet. But the name again rolled from her lips, "Narzeth?" It sounded right, it felt right, He was not a Killer, not a Monster, no, He was an Angel. Silvery hair, Ivory wings, even in the rain, the light that shone in His eyes suddenly became bright, so very bright...

Her hand reached out, reached out to touch the Angel, Narzeth.. but she heard voices, mingling in the rain, racing thru the darkness. Even a deplorable, vicious, wicked, forlorn city as Kahzmeth, had law, or some semblence of law. There had to be someone there to protect the innocent, even if there were no truely innocent in this forever damned city. Perhaps calling them the *law* was misleading. These were more like gangs, gangs that tended to protect their own turf, and some of the people, vampires, creatures, living within. All had become spooked at the horrifying killings.

Cyn tore her eyes from His, looking at the alley way entrance, the voices were getting closer, her screams had attracted someone, who, upon seeing the dead, torn apart girl, would more than likely kill them both, her and the Angel...

He had collasped to the ground, and Cyn, using all the strength she had, reached down to Him and pulled Him up and into her embrace. "Shhhhh" she whispered, laying her hand over His bloodied mouth, pulling Him, wings and all, back against her and into the shadows. It would not be enough to use the darkness to hide. The gangs had vampires as well as mortals within, and would easily see her. She moved along the wet wall, desperately hoping for a door, a door that led somewhere, she found what she needed, she thudding her back against it, and pushing, the 2 of them tumbling into the darkened interior. Both fell to the ground, but Cyn was up in an instant, closing the door and breaking the lock. The loud crash of thunder overhead shielded the sound to the approaching gang, who burst into the alley just then.

She turned and looked down at the Angel at her feet. She lowering to the cold floor and enfolding the trembling creature into her arms. She held Him against her as He groaned, she quietly beginning to hum to Him, a soft sound, a song she had known since childhood... She did not realize it was the same song that Verel would often sing to Him after making love. A song of love, souls, and everlasting life... ~

"Narzeth?"

I heard it roll from her lips, it did sound like some sort of unconcious reaction to me, a reaction to the name that sighed from my own lips, that name that had been dead for so long, almost forgotten. The second time i heard my name at carried a ditinctive, more confident air around it. Then i knew. I looked up at her with the hope, the sheer desperation that this is who i thought it was. The pain was gone now, but i was weak. I smiled, it was the first time i had smiled a true smile in ages, and then...............i wept. My whole body shuddered with emotion, guilt, pain.

Our bodies were entwined, as were our lips. The game had ended but there was no singular winner. As far as we were concerned we had both won, to be here, right now in the forest, our lips mingling, as was the blood that seeped from both of our chests. This was truly the greatest prize anyone could have, the complete undying love of another.

Verel was upon her tip-toes reaching up to endevour the kiss, pushing her naked body against mine, a quick movement of her foot sent my body relling to the ground, hers falling gracefully on top of mine. Her giggle was enchanting

"I believe that is 1 - 1 my dear" She exclaimed with the most infective of grins spreading across her face, i couldnt help but to smile.

The blood was smeared upon our torso`s but we didnt care, it wasnt what we were interested in, we were far too into each other to care. I dont know how long we were there for, but i was totally lost in her, nothing else entered the small bubble that contained myself and my light, Verel.

My head was resting against her bosom when the outside sounds became apparent to me once again. Verel was singing

Like summer flowers, our love doth bloom

And with a tender hand i give myself to you

Recieve this gift from me and treasure like the sun

As long as sun doth shine your my one

true

love

Tho harsh to say these words, we know this land will die

I burn a light with hope, because you are the apple in my eye

And with our souls entwined, we grow from two to one

If this land fades away your still my one

true

love

My head was enveloped in the strangers arms but i felt at home................

My one

true

love

She sang, so sweetly and i knew that song in my head. I weakly made an attempt to sing along, but failed miserably. I raised my eyes to hers and with all of the effort i had left i managed to whispered a few words

"Thank you my love. my light"

"Thank you my love. my light"

~ the song faded from Cyn's lips as He spoke. The Angel spoke. His voice was weak, quivering, where only sheer moments before He had been tearing into His victim, feeding from her as she died in His arms, He was now shaking, trembling and barely audible. Cyn did not quite understand what had happened or why. Nor did she understand why she was here, in the dark, the rain pouring outside, the yells of others as the body is discovered, as a mortal wretches, and a vampire curses. She did not understand why she was here in the dark, cradling the killer, this... Angel... Narzeth...

Like summer flowers, our love doth bloom ...And with a tender hand i give myself to you

Verel lay in Narzeth's arms, their mating had taken them deep into the night. His cries of pleasure, mingled with her own had echoed to the moon above, who watched with a silent luminescent gaze. His wings had enfolded their bodies as they came together. His length so easily slipping within her own body. 2 species, 2 entities, 2 lives, 2 souls, coming together as one. He a winged One, Raven People, often His kind hunted her own, even tho their own appetites riviled that of the vampires. She that very night dweller, a vampire, who fed on the blood of the living. Yet they found each other, She was His light, He was her soul.... Verel knew to be apart from Narzeth now would mean a slow, lonely, agonizing death for her. She loved Him. She would....

She would die for Him...

She would die for Him...

She would die.... for ... Him...

She heard them first as they slept in the moonlight. The voices, mortals, humans, hunters. She and Narzeth made a fatal mistake, lost in the passions of each other, they had not retreated back to the darkness of the abandoned catherdral, where they would have been safe. They were vunerable.

She would die for Him...

And that night, she did die for Him, screaming, at the hands of the mortal hunters....

Cyn blinked as the memory raced across her mind. Deep within her, she could not stop the shudder that gripped her, the chill that settled over her. She looked down at the Angel she was cradling, realizing just what He was. The last of the Raven people... Narzeth... She had spoken His name without even realizing it, now it slipped past her lips with that slight hint of fear. She had heard the stories, of Him, of His vicious killings, the tortured soul that He was once His love was slaughtered before His eyes. His people hunted down by those same mortals. She had heard all the stories, the myths, rumors, legends.

"shhhh.. stay quiet, if they find us, You, then death is all either of us will know."

Her voice gently whispered into His ear, her lips brushing lightly. Her mind was racing. This Angel, was a killer. But....Angels were not killers. He looked like an Angel. Cyn found herself questioning the myths and stories she had heard. Yes, He was feeding on that girl, but even she herself fed. Did that make Him the vicious killer that all thought He was??

The voice outside became louder, as the gang searched and the body was gathered up. The door, the very door she was leaning against, shuddered and thudded as someone outside tried to gain access, but to no avail. At that moment, Cyn looked down at Narzeth and wondered who would suffer? She and the Angel she cradled, or the gang that sought them at this moment, for if all the stories were true, Narzeth, of the Raven People, was vicious, cruel, and unstoppable. ~

It was the shuddering of the girls body that made me aware of what was going on. I knew who she was now, I knew the girl that looked down on me, the breath entering my ear, the eyes studying me. She did not look all that much like the memory, but she was an exact replica. She spoke differently, but it was the tune I knew and remembered. She had different eyes, but they still looked deep inside of me. For I was not studying the girls features dramatically, what i could see was her soul. That was the same sould he had known a long, long time ago. It was then that it dawned on me that she was in danger. I would not let her die again. My verel, My only love of this world.

My senses suddenly became inflamed once again, the gems i bore upon my spine burst into life, lighting the corridor we were slouched in.

Springing to my feet, i swung to face the door

"Get up my love"

She looked startled

"Verel Get up!"

I spoke more indefinately but she still looked shocked

Sliding a hand around to her back i gently pulled her to her feet, inviting her body into mine. Her skin touched mine, i looked at her, urging her to see the soul inside me, as i did hers

"~Sigh~ Cyn, i know this is a little confusing now, and it is for me also, but you must understand that i cannot let you die here, those filthy mortals will not lay another filthy hand upon you. NOW LEAVE. I think you know where to go, I will be there waiting for you..........My Love"

"Please go, before hey get in"
