The Dance of Love

I can't

Get my husband to go ever..
It's soo sexy - any kind..the closeness, the rhythm, the connection that's sexy without the contact..
The intimacy of a partner dance..
sigh

Tango is fun. Rumba is tricky. I waltz like a lawnmover.

My highschool sweetheart was a debutante and her family was politely insisting I learn how to dance for the occasion. Her and I did a bunch of classes, but only ever got decent at swing. I truly do love dancing, though. Spent most of my time at clubs, in college, just for that. Nothing like dancing with a foxy girl. Nothing like it.

Hubby & I have taken ballroom dance classes for many years. Very enjoyable.

Waltz & swing are our best dances, followed by rumba. Can't wait 'til classes resume in the fall. It's about the only recreation (besides sex) that we enjoy together.

My parents take classes, too.

They started because my mom was uncomfortable when dancing at their 25th wedding anniversary blast. She didn't feel they "danced properly" while everyone else watched.

Now they do dance properly, and at every possible opportunity. They're fun to watch and they have a fairly wide new circle of friends.

I cannot get my hubby to go.

My husband says he will take classes but there are non offered here. He does dance with me if I can ever get him to a club. ( he doesn't like clubs)

I two step and can Polka with the best of them. That being said I want to take Ballroom dancing with my wife. (She wishes to also.) The new dancing however, that seen at the clubs downtown, reminds me of someone having an Epileptic Seizure or being attacked by Fire Ants.

I have mastered the "swarm of bees" I am now working to achieve the mythical "electric shock."

My wife and I just took our first dancing lesson a few weeks ago. It was an introductry class at a local studio. Only $20 for the first class. It was alot of fun and we wanted to do more. Then after that class they tell you that it's $400 for the next 5 classes.

So now we're looking for another studio.

I love to dance. Absolutely adore it. and I could not dance "platonically" with someone I was attracted to. dancing is very much a sensual thing for me.
