Just reading those words brings memories of others who have striven to overcome terrible odds. America did it in WWII and that spirit, while sometimes dormant, is alive today.

Wow, Garth even makes it onto these boards. I love his music. All the songs listed are very touching and inspirational. It's very difficult for me to choose favorites, LOL.

Garth was actually in NYC last Tuesday. He was also going to be heading to Washington that night, but obviously, all plans were cancelled.

Music can be very healing at a time like this, at least it is for me.
